A+ experience working with Anthony at Watch Guy NYC to purchase a Rolex. Highly recommend reaching out to Anthony and his team if in the market for a luxury timepiece. They're fair with prices, responsive, and very accommodating to their customers. read more

They violated a contract to sell me a watch. I paid for it and received a confirmation and they then tried to charge me 6% more for using a payment service AFTER THE FACT. This is after the payment went through and they realized their system didn't charge me the additional fee and they were not going to recover it, they cancelled my order. read more

I've not bought 2 watches from Anthony...a Patek 5711 last summer in person while visiting NY. He was great, very consultative and offered me several purchase options. I just recently bought a Patek 5168g from him remotely and had the same great experience. I've found Anthony to be one of the good guys (i.e., easy to deal with) in the Diamond District and he's upfront on what he has in stock and will search for you for specific pieces he does not have in stock. Not sure the few negative reviews are real and certainly didn't reflect my experience. I'll be back in the future to buy from Anthony. read more

Great watches at reasonable prices. Shipping was quick, watch was wrapped very securely. Would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! read more

I'm not sure what the previous bad reviews are all about but I had a great experience. I was in NYC and had seen their offerings on several web sites so I decided to pay a visit. I did not have an appointment. Like other NYC secondary market vendors, Watch Guy was in a nondescript building in the diamond district. The customer area was small but comfortable. Anthony was very accommodating and shared his inventory of watches with me. I was in the market for a Rolex, as they're still difficult to acquire from AD's. Anthony had several of the model I wanted, some previously worn and some new. We chatted and came to a price agreement. The entire experience was comfortable and fulfilling. Anthony is very friendly, informational, reputable, and honest. I'll definitely be coming back in the future. read more

Good turnaround for order to shipping. Got exactly what I wanted. Not easy model to find

I scheduled an appointment and met with Anthony and his team. They were very trusting and instantly made me feel comfortable. Anthony appreciated my knowledge concerning high end watches and we had a great conversation. He sold me a particularly rare Rolex. The value was excellent. Eston W. read more

These guys take months to reply back through email or text... awful service so far. The watch I wanted was in stock when I asked them, but didn't provide info on how to wire transfer. It took them 3 weeks to reply back and the watch was Out of Stock by then. Now they have it in stock, price went up by 18%. Ridiculous doing business with some person named Mig. I was planning to buy 2 watches (black dial and white dial) THE EXPERIENCE BECAME WORSE after talking to Anthony. He said he would honor the price for the white one. Then he started saying that I was taking advantage of this situation WHEN I WAS ACTUALLY ASKING FOR THE PRICE LISTED FOR WIRE TRANSFER ON HIS WEBSITE FOR BOTH WATCHES! (I've uploaded screenshots as well). He then started saying "I can't please every customer". After that, he thought I was a watch dealer because I was buying 2 watches and even asked what I did for a living. . I was buying one for myself and my wife. He finally said he will do it and asked me to delete the review. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! I don't trust these people! AVOID! read more

Great experience. Never thought I would buy a $40,000 watch off the internet but these guys made it easy and delivered on everything as promised. Highly recommend. Anthony was a pleasure to deal with. Will buy more watches from them. (I read a few of the negative reviews and I can tell you from my dealings, they were easy to get ahold of and deal with both via phone, what'sapp and email). Thank you team. read more

I had been shopping for a certain Rolex for my wife for about a month. Everywhere I went or called I was told sorry we don't have it or sorry we can't help. Then I reached out to WatchGuyNYC and was helped by Mig. She informed me that they didn't have the exact watch, but they could do some custom work for me to make it exactly like the one I wanted. She even knew my budget before hand and the price still came in thousands less than I was prepared to spend! Watch came the next day brand new, unworn, and with all paperwork! To say I'm satisfied would be an understatement. I can't thank Mig enough and will be back in a few months to purchase another! Thank you again Mig for the pleasant experience! read more

What a challenge to do business with these guys. I have now tried for multiple weeks to connect with these guys. The payment system is a challenge. While I understand and suspect fraud is high in their business it's challenging when their (WGN and Pay-Pal) sites propagate poor messaging. In my case, I don't use Pay-Pal that much so they think it's outside of my normal so they will not process nor will they over ride their algo's for me or anyone. In the end I had to reach out to Pay-Pal. They helped get their end back on track. The watch arrived and things worked out w/ a watch delivered. Could there have been some better online edits, error messages, etc. at WatchGuy? Yes. My rating when I started was low and got better after speaking to a human so they understood the issue in the transaction (both at WatchGuy and Pay-Pal). read more

Anthony is absolutely great - knowledgeable, fair, and professional. I was very pleased with a recent purchase of my new datejust from him at a great price. Anthony was very patient when answering questions about different watch models and prices. He has a fairly large inventory and makes the buying process very efficient. Anthony is a great find in NYC for any watch needs and I highly recommend him based on my fantastic experience with WatchGuyNYC. read more

I had a mixed experience dealing with this guy. I traded 2 ladies Patek Philippe twenty4 auto watches for a ceramic audemars piguet 34 mm carolina bucci. I was told the AP was new with box and warranty card. The trades + 20K. I was asked to send a bank wire for the 20K, but, I did not feel completely comfortable since this was the first time dealing with this guy. I paid with amex and was sent the AP. When I received the watch, I was surprised to see that it was used and did not include the warranty card. I immediately contacted "the watch guy" and no reply. I kept leaving messages, and finally a reply. I was told that he misspoke and it was used but only a year old and he will send me the warranty card in a few days. Weeks went by and I texted asking about the warranty card. I was told that he cannot find the card, but, has a pic of it and will forward it to me. Again, a week or so later, still no pic. I contacted them again, this time I was told that they will pay $500 and get archive papers from AP by the end of the week via email and it will be forwarded to me. Now, over a month after I paid for the NIB watch with papers, "the watch guy" is not returning emails, texts or phone calls. Be careful when dealing with this guy, make sure of what you are getting before you pay him, he cannot be trusted. read more

I purchased a watch from Watchguynyc - this was my second transaction with them, and definitely not my last. They're always a pleasure to work with - watches arrive on time when shipped and in the condition described. Prices are always competitive. I will always recommended Anthony from Watchguy to the people in the market for new Rolexes. You can purchase new watches from any number of places, but I always prefer Watchguy. You know what you're getting from a reputable dealer who warranties the products they sell - you can't beat that. If you're in the market for a timepiece, look no further than Watchguynyc. highly would recommend. read more

Anthony was extremely easy to deal with. Great customer service and extreme fast shipping.

Copied from my husbands google review. Big Thanks to Anthony. Initially worked with my wife while she was purchasing Rolex for me as a gift, and helped her through all steps of the process. Once I received my incredible watch in new condition just like described, Anthony was right there to answer any follow up question I had. Excellent Customer Service and product!!! Would highly recommend to anyone in the high end watch market and will be my first stop to a hopefully growing collection in the future. Great Work!!! read more

I bought my first watch from Anthony last year (a Patek Philippe Aquanaut) and had such an amazing experience that I promised I'd come back to him for my future purchases. I did exactly that last week and bought a new Rolex Daytona Panda from Anthony with a similarly great experience. What you have at WatchGuyNYC is simply the best inventory and access, coupled with the best service. Anthony is patient in answering questions and giving guidance on watches, and provides extreme transparency with top rate service. He meticulously checks the inventory and wraps it up before delivering it express, and follows up to make sure everything is to satisfaction. Watches are high value items and you want to be certain you are dealing with a reputable vendor and a trusted seller, not worrying about getting ripped off on quality or price - and I hope that these reviews (and others online) will lead shoppers to Anthony and WatchGuyNYC. I would highly recommend you speak to them before looking elsewhere for your next luxury watch! read more

My first and last experience with this company. They did a bait and switch on me. I bought a Rolex and they charged my card and then emailed me to say it was out of stock. I went back on their website and they increased their price for the same watch I purchased that they said was out of stock by $5K. My credit card for the refund has been 'pending' all week. There are better online stores - Swiss Expo and Jomashop. This place is run like an inner city gutter. read more

Three major issues that I experienced with WatchGuyNYC: 1) No one answered several call attempts and I finally left a detailed voicemail. 2) I made an appointment using their online app and their customer representative was a no-show. 3) I finally bought a watch from them and received an email confirming the purchase. The next day a representative called me to return my voicemail. I had to ask her the status of my purchase, which she was unaware of, only to learn that it was not in stock. Her "comparable" items in stock were 50% more expensive. She was unaware when my selection would be re-stocked and informed me that my price was an "old price" and she was unaware of what the new price may be. read more

I don't usually write reviews unless the place is extra special. If you have ever been to the West 47th St in NYC, you know that there are soooooo many watch/jewelry stores vying for your business. Jeweler's Row can be a bit overwhelming. Luckily, the WatchGuy and Anthony(the manager) stand out. My husband and I worked with Anthony. We wanted to trade-in both of Rolexes to purchase 2 special watches. Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. He was extremely fair and gave us options without the sales pressure. Communication and follow through was seamless. I would highly recommend WatchGuy read more

Great experience and product! Anthony and Mig were very helpful and nice to work with. I had been searching for a particular Datejust ii for a while and they are the only retailer I could find that had one, new and unworn. Their selections is outstanding. After visiting the brick and mortar offices of the "watchguyNYC" (Anthony) I was interested in a White Gold Daytona. These Daytona's were becoming increasingly scarce. I was looking for a Rolex 41 with jubilee bracelet. I saw Watchguynyc listed the exact watch I was looking for online. Their price was one of the lowest listed online. I called Watchguynyc because I had questions about the watch. Spoke with Arseniy. He answered all my questions had great communication! Purchased the watch from watchguynyc. Received the watch in 2 days via mail. Wow watch looks great! Brand new with card, box and manual. Looking forward to do business with watchguynyc again in the future!! read more

I ordered a Chanel J12 H5705 watch at the website on 3/12 and received it on 3/17. Perfect transaction and couldn't be happier. Working with Arseniy was an extreme pleasure. I was introduced to him through friends and knew very little about watches. He took the time to educate me and my husband and didn't make us feel as though the questions we were asking were silly or irrelevant. He was very honest and took the time to understand what we were looking for before making recommendations. I highly recommend the Watch Guy for anyone who is looking for a personalized, professional and educating experience! read more

It's hard to quantify the magnitude of the professionalism, honesty, attentiveness, and superior customer service that I've experienced in dealing with Arseniy. Aside from giving me the best price on a highly sought-after masterpiece of haute horology, back- ordered by many retailers, he went out of his way to make sure that the transaction was followed through in the smoothest manner possible. 'A pleasure to deal with!' would be a gross understatement. read more
