If you're home owner like me, odds are you have years of spray paint, canned paint and numerous other chemicals aging in your garage? Like so many yelpers have already mentioned, you do need to make an appointment which is not at all difficult. I actually called in the morning on a weekday and got an appointment within three hours. The number to call is 512-974-4343. On my visit I brought all kinds of paint, fuel additive, cleaning agents, lubricants, and pesticides. To be honest, I thought they were going to charge me something for this collection of environmentally damaging products, but I offloaded everything onto their carts in a matter of minutes and was on my way. Quick, convenient and no charge. I thought I would add four photos for a little insight.

I used to use Waste Connections but feel that their business practices are predatory, as they doubled bills frequently which I believe is an attempt to mess over elderly people or those with auto pay. When they've come, you even know because they neatly leave the can sideways consistently to denote that. I saved 60% by switching over, they're local, the lady on the phone was super nice, I just so happened to meet the owner this morning and he's a top notch guy. Unfortunately, my experience at this business was frustrating and unpleasant. The staff was consistently rude, interrupting and not allowing me to finish my sentences, especially when attempting to help them retrieve their property. Since buying our house, our trash can has said Recon with this phone number on it. We started getting skipped by our trash company in the recent because of it. Our company brought us a new bin and I was instructed to call the number on our old one. I'm doing so, my experience was awful. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

If I can leave less stars I would;…read more I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Texas Disposal Systems. The level of service has been unacceptable and has caused ongoing frustration. For years, I did not have issues with trash pickup, but recently the service has become unreliable and inconsistent. Missed pickups have become a recurring problem, and communication from the company has been poor. When concerns were reported, there was little effort made to resolve the issues in a timely or satisfactory manner. To make matters worse, I was required to pay additional quarterly fees because my residence is located on a dirt road, despite the fact that service was being provided and the trucks were already traveling down the road. On many occasions, drivers would reach the end of the road, back up, and leave without any apparent difficulty, making the additional charges difficult to justify. As a paying customer, I expect dependable service, accountability, and basic customer support. Instead, I have experienced missed collections, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. The overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend Texas Disposal Systems based on my experience and would encourage potential customers to carefully consider other options before choosing this company.

Mind you they service the property next door and across the street. The driver is too lazy to get out to open our gate that closes by itself. This is after he recently pulled in after my husband left for work, and the gate started closing. He backed into it a broke it in half, because he didn't check to see if the gate closed. The driver was complaining because he hated having to back out of the driveway across the street to pull into my driveway from the first day of service. This just prompted him to cry to the higher ups when they questioned him about how he damaged my gate. *One star is to much
