If I can leave less stars I would; I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Texas Disposal Systems. The level of service has been unacceptable and has caused ongoing frustration. For years, I did not have issues with trash pickup, but recently the service has become unreliable and inconsistent. Missed pickups have become a recurring problem, and communication from the company has been poor. When concerns were reported, there was little effort made to resolve the issues in a timely or satisfactory manner. To make matters worse, I was required to pay additional quarterly fees because my residence is located on a dirt road, despite the fact that service was being provided and the trucks were already traveling down the road. On many occasions, drivers would reach the end of the road, back up, and leave without any apparent difficulty, making the additional charges difficult to justify. As a paying customer, I expect dependable service, accountability, and basic customer support. Instead, I have experienced missed collections, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. The overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend Texas Disposal Systems based on my experience and would encourage potential customers to carefully consider other options before choosing this company. read more

Texas Disposal called my husband and told him that they're no longer going to service our address because they're driver doesn't like to back out of our driveway. Mind you they service the property next door and across the street. The driver is too lazy to get out to open our gate that closes by itself. This is after he recently pulled in after my husband left for work, and the gate started closing. He backed into it a broke it in half, because he didn't check to see if the gate closed. The driver was complaining because he hated having to back out of the driveway across the street to pull into my driveway from the first day of service. I am writing to report to others an ongoing issue regarding the failure to deliver my trash, compost, and recycling bins following my service request. I initiated my request on June 26th, ahead of my July 1st move-in date to Kyle, TX. At that time, I was assured that all waste containers would be delivered within seven days. Unfortunately, it is now well past that timeframe, and I still have not received them. (It's not JULY 15)! I followed up on July 9th and was told the bins would be delivered on July 10th. When that date passed without delivery, I called again and was informed, by the city of Kyle, that the request had not even been submitted BY TDS until July 8th, due to an oversight. I was then told the bins may be delivered by July 14th. July 14 came and went and to no avail I have NO BINS! As a result, trash has piled up in my garage, leading to rodent and ant infestations, creating serious sanitation and safety concerns. I was instructed to drive to 3016 FM 1327 in Creedmoor, TX for a free drop-off. However, upon arrival, I was denied access because I do not yet have a Texas driver's license with my current address on it--despite showing: My TDS confirmation and receipt, with my name and service address along with my lease agreement clearly stating my current residence in Kyle! I JUST MOVED FROM OUT OF STATE...who would already have an instate license with an address on it in 15 days. That's not how residency works. This is unacceptable. I have taken all necessary steps to ensure proper service and provided multiple forms of proof, only to be turned away and left with a growing waste issue at my new home. TDS has still not emailed me back and I'm not working with the City of Kyle to get this resolved since they can't get back to me. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD! Apparently being a residential customer if you have bulk items to be picked up there are hundreds of restrictions if you have Windows that are trash the glass has to be removed only the frame is what they'll pick up if you have objects that are over 3 ft tall they have to be cut in half in order to be picked up there are so many other restrictions as far as if you have Barbara fencing if you have t-post they won't pick up because they'll hurt their machines so basically if you have bulk items that aren't soft and disposable easily even plants they won't pick up so they're both service absolutely sucks and they make you take it down to their dump where you have to pay more money to dump your s*** so the service is far as both service actually sucks and their customer service is worse because they don't like getting attitude from customers when they're told oh well you have to pay and bring it yourself down to our dump because we don't do that for you so they don't like attitude so f****** get a customer service that doesn't mind getting bad attitude for your bad policies so f*** you read more

The absolute worst in garbage collection. They haven't taken my recycle in over a month. All my recycling is now going in the garbage, since TDS refuses to take my recycling bin full. It wasn't overstuffed, the bills paid for, it's left out the night before. Regarding Creedmoor facility. The two stars is for location and the cleanliness of the facility, otherwise it would be a one star. I am glad they are there but they should be the last resort. I did expect the $35 dollar fee for not having a tarp on it even though it was all in contractor bags and totally secured. basic fee is $82 no matter the size of load and then you have the extra fee for no tarp. I paid $117. It's expensive and the staff are rude. Go anywhere else if you have the time. I asked about whether that $82 dollars applies to a minivan load and the young man didn't give me a straight answer. All he had to do was say yes, same minimum fee for a minivan. when I didn't get a clear answer from him, the jerk behind him came to his defense and was very rude to me. They are an entitled bunch and teaching the young ones to talk to customers the same. read more

TDS doesn't have a reliable schedule for trash or recycling pickup. They typically come to my neighborhood around 3pm on Thursdays. Last week they showed up at 9am--half the people on my street didn't get their trash picked up because of this. This week, it's 10:00pm and they still have shown up. I didn't know how to properly rate this so I'm going with one star which is my instinct. Recently, my trash wasn't picked up. I saw the truck on my ring doorbell go by late in the morning and again, soon after lunch. All of the trash bins around me had been picked up except for 3. I was speaking to my daughter about it around 4:30 that afternoon and she immediately got on the phone and tried to call someone at Texas Disposal. My daughter spoke to the first woman who answered the phone. The moment that she said that my trash had not been picked up they hung up on her! So, I knew the routine was to just wait till the next morning. Well, the next afternoon came and my trash and the other three had still not been picked up. So I called. I'm never sure if I am calling the right number so I asked the first woman who picked up the phone "is this Texas Disposal in Buda"? She replied "No, this is Austin"! I said "Yes. But are you on the border of Austin and Buda"? She said "No! Cedar Creek (or something like that because technically, that's where we are). So, then all of a sudden I realized that it was indeed my trash facility. This woman clearly knew what I was getting at and was rudely sidestepping me the entire way!!! In case you don't know, this facility is less than 5 mi away from Buda. Buda is the only source of fast food to this facility within a 10 mile radius!!! So, there's the bad review that deserves less than one point for rude and incompetent customer service. Eventually, I spoke to The appropriate department for trash reschedule pickup. This woman could not be friendlier and nicer. I told her that I was very suspicious about the way the truck parked in front of my house beside my bin and paused and then drove off. Explain to her that I couldn't help it feel that maybe they felt ill. She too became very concerned and made a note on the reschedule order. This area is getting too crowded for rude people to have their attitudes. There's plenty of open land to go and have a meltdown all by yourself. I don't think that it is appropriate to hang up on customers especially with climbing disposal charges!!! So, there is my post for five stars for this woman. I also have to say that I have never had this treatment from Texas Disposal employees! I have always been treated like a valued customer, even though I really don't have a choice of who picks up my trash. However, just for grins and giggles I will make sure to bring it up at the Sunfield homeowner's association meeting. Maybe it's time to negotiate a new contract with a different provider? read more

I have Texas Disposal Systems dumpster at my business. They are the worst possible dumpster service you could use. They re-sign you automatically without ever letting you know. we had a vehicle parked in the way which was our fault but we still needed them to come back as the dumpster was full right next to our our customers can see and where we need the full dumpster each week. We offered to pay whatever fee they said but they would not come back no matter what till the following week I would encourage you to use anyone but Texas Disposal Systems. read more

I use this company for commercial pickup. They fail to pick up after business hours, as agreed on, and then say they can't pick up because the dumpster is blocked. They only offer to send someone back out for an extra charge. Trash collection should not be as difficult as these people make it Any business owners reading this, look up Haulla. They will buy out your contract. Before I ever left this review, I called them multiple times, exchanged emails, was promised solutions only to have the same thing happen two weeks later. To make things even better, after they failed to do their part, when I tried to terminate service, I was told it would cost over $500 to cancel my contract. Stay away from these people read more

The worst landfill I have been to in over 7 years. Every time I go to unload a trailer they try to up charge me $35 dollars for it being unsecured. I put 2 or 3 straps across my trailer load yet they still find an excuse to try and up charge me. read more

This company is literally the worst trash disposal service I have every worked with and based on my experience, I recommend you find any company but this one to use. Granted, our property is not in a neighborhood, but the service was VERY inconsistent and frustrating. I have to give it to the customer service reps because they have tried to help, but they can't drive the trucks. Now, they called me today to tell me that there are not enough customers on our route, so they are cancelling it, giving us only 9 days to find another service. The customer service supervisor did work to get an additional week, and I appreciate that, but maybe the fact that not enough customers signed up for their service should tell them something. They come up with excuses every time I call like weather isn't good enough for the service route while I'm at the job site with blue sky and dry ground. My neighbor has this service and the driver is inconsiderate of other people's property. The driver backs into our property causing runts we have to try to fix and we don't nor will ever use a service that is that negligent. 2 out of the last 4 times this company was scheduled to pick up my recycling, they didn't. The first time their customer service response to my email was "our system shows that the truck DID come by at 9:30am" the next time they didn't pick up the cardboard box right next to my bins that they assured me in advance would be serviced. And the the final time today they didn't pick up recycling, but picked up trash and claimed that it was because I "hadn't paid the bill yet this quarter" which they claim is every other month even though a quarter of a year is every three months AND I have auto-pay set up with an account that has more than enough in it... anyway. Their service is over $160 every two months and is horrible... so I'll be switching to the same company all my neighbors have (Waste Connections) and see if they at least make an attempt at providing a service worth the hassle. read more

Seems that they had a payment problem with the demolition company and to settle the issue they threaten us with a lien as owners. They use the legal system to their advantage instead of vetting who they work with. They take advantage of owners knowing that most of them won't have legal defense like them. I have never dealt with a company that was so unresponsive in my 30 years of business dealings. After numerous 1.5 hour holds and no returns, They took on a commercial service and they expected to just call in the evening to alert for a Saturday pickup because their trucks didn't work on our day. But hey we don't need to call you at all. After attempting to communicate with them since April of 2022, that this was not possible and are they truly able to handle commercial they said they'd reach out during business hours when their trucks were down on our pickup day or if they could not gain access to our land. I was emailed by an account manager at Haulla, who signed me up, gave me a discount of 20% and gave me $50 dollars in credit. I have not bad problems since ! So these guys just are just weirdly rude and kind of suck. I'm not sure what their issue is but their customer service is just lacking. 1. I've had multiple problems with their drivers just tossing my bins around and leaving them on their sides in the street, thus damaging them. When I've called to complain, I've been made to feel like I'm an ass for complaining and nothing has happened. 2. The 2/1/23 Ice storm. I called to get a quote for branch removal. City of Austin halls this stuff away for free without bundling. TX Disposal makes no bones about the customer paying $50+ for the service, AND the customer bundling the branches in to 4x4 sf bundles. I'm glad they said this up front but when I brought up that it's a free service elsewhere, I was treated like I was being a problem. Every time I call or email (daily) to get an update they always tell me it will be serviced by 7 PM or the following day.
