That evening I realized that I did not get pics of the recall number written on the ladder. I called first thing in the morning to see if they happened to still have access to it. If you're home owner like me, odds are you have years of spray paint, canned paint and numerous other chemicals aging in your garage? Like so many yelpers have already mentioned, you do need to make an appointment which is not at all difficult. I actually called in the morning on a weekday and got an appointment within three hours. The number to call is 512-974-4343. On my visit I brought all kinds of paint, fuel additive, cleaning agents, lubricants, and pesticides. To be honest, I thought they were going to charge me something for this collection of environmentally damaging products, but I offloaded everything onto their carts in a matter of minutes and was on my way. Quick, convenient and no charge. I thought I would add four photos for a little insight.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would! We have utilized their shredding service for a while…read morenow. So why one star if we've been doing business for a while? Because they apparently don't use modern technology like calendars and phones. All is great as long as you don't need them to pick up the full bin. If you do, be prepared to get ghosted on the appointed day/time. Not just once but over and over again. This is where a calendar would come in really handy! They NEVER call you to tell you the schedule changed, or the driver is late or give you what ever (likely flimsy) excuse they have for not showing up. They must not have reliable phones! I would recommend this company to no one who needs reliable service. Look elsewhere.

All of which is on YOUR cameras. Since there was a line & it was almost closing time, I got my cash & receipt, got in my car & drove away. At the traffic light I immediately realized the mistake as I looked at my receipt & cash. I called the business for which a WOMEN answer & said "sorry we are closed" I said "don't care I'm coming back right now". I then spoke to a manager in person who said "mistakes happen but we are closed now come back in the morning & we will take care of it". My receipt had Brass, #2 insulated, #2 insulated again & #3 insulated. WHERES THE ORANGE HOME DEPOT 5 GAL BUCKET OF BARE BRIGHT????? WHERE IS MY ALUMINUM YOU LOADED FROM MY TRUNK INTO YOUR WHEEL BARRELL & ONTO YOUR SCALE????? WHERE DID THIS #3 INSULATED COME FROM? My boyfriend has been using this recycle center for years. So after having his cousin replace my…read morea/c unit on Friday I thought this would be the perfect place to take the old unit and recover some of the money I just spent. My boyfriend took the units apart and separated the metals the best he could. He also gave me a couple of electric motors and a few other things that have been piling up. Me and one of my girlfriends drove the truck up there and the guys there where very friendly and helpful. One of the guys came up to the window and I told them that I was handicap and was kinda stuck in the truck because I didn't have room in the truck for my chair. He said no problem and unloaded the truck. Up to this point I was very pleased with the service. Then it came time to get paid. :) One of the guys went and told the lady at the window I was handicap and couldn't get out of my truck. She came up to me and was very rude. She said I needed a license to recycle the stuff. So, I gave her my license. She looked at it at the looked at me and said I needed an a/c license or a receipt for the a/c. I told her no problem I have the receipt at home. Told her that she could just weigh it all out and I'd come back with it on Monday when they opened so that they wouldn't have to reload it. She said no that they would have to load it all back up. I told her ok and to just take everything but the a/c stuff. She said no she couldn't. I've been up here a few times with my boyfriend and they have always taken the motors and other recyclables with nothing but his drivers license. At this point I'm a little ticked off. Then when one of the guys was reloading the truck they told me that they had the same issue and had to just give all their stuff away. Not sure wtf was going on but I feel like they just wanted me to give them the truck load. I will never in my life use this place again. (Was a great place when the old couple was running it) And if I ever catch my boyfriend using the place he'll be sleeping in the shed.
