If I could rate less than 1 star I would! To the owner of the Business- where did you get your customer service training because you certainly failed that class. YESTERDAY on 3/21/26 I came through there with sorted material. #1)black trash bag full of #2 insulated wire #2) orange 5gal bucket with bare bright #3) a box with #1 insulated wire #4) extruded aluminum put into a wheel barrel from my truck & onto the scale. #5) 4 pieces of clean brass laid onto scale. All of which is on YOUR cameras. Since there was a line & it was almost closing time, I got my cash & receipt, got in my car & drove away. At the traffic light I immediately realized the mistake as I looked at my receipt & cash. I called the business for which a WOMEN answer & said "sorry we are closed" I said "don't care I'm coming back right now". I then spoke to a manager in person who said "mistakes happen but we are closed now come back in the morning & we will take care of it". My receipt had Brass, #2 insulated, #2 insulated again & #3 insulated. WHERES THE ORANGE HOME DEPOT 5 GAL BUCKET OF BARE BRIGHT????? WHERE IS MY ALUMINUM YOU LOADED FROM MY TRUNK INTO YOUR WHEEL BARRELL & ONTO YOUR SCALE????? WHERE DID THIS #3 INSULATED COME FROM? I came back this morning 3/22/26 & I had everything written on a piece of paper AS TO AVOID ANY TYPE OF LANGUAGE BARRIER. I was meet by the "owner" who took my note and my reciept & proceeded to tell that I was wrong, my story was a lie, stated "he don't have a WOMEN on his payroll"... I don't care if she is on your payroll or not, you got a women that answered the phone or a dude that speaks just like a WOMEN, you got a manager that told me to come up here today, you got many cameras that caught you committing a crime & stealing from me and now you STEAL my receipt!!! You are a joke of man, a joke of business owner, & i hope that extra $50-$60 that you STOLE FROM ME WAS WORTH IT! wish I could give it less then a star I called on the phone and asked how much per pound the lady told me 3.10 which pretty low anyways and I took way more then 60 $ worth of copper and I got my receipt back and it was 3 flat . if you want to feel robbed come to this recycling center they rob weight like a mf if you have copper go else where read more

They tried to give me less than what my copper was worth. I clearly had #1 copper they have even paid me #1 off the same roll this came from but this time they wanna say it's #2. All American, cmc metals, and tds way better with paying what your metal is worth and they are way more polite! read more

They only recycle scrap metal. The website is unclear on that part. Don't waste your time waiting in line if you want to recycle anything but scrap metal. They need to change the name to Scrap Metal Recycling Center since they don't take anything else. read more

Always pleased when I leave. Basically you pull in, weigh the trailer, then drive around back, the men unload your metal with a magnet, then you drive up to the front, weigh your trailer again. They pay you the weight difference. If you have aluminum, they pay you more for it. They're always nice and fair with the prices. They speak English and Spanish. This place was just visited yesterday and I turned in crushed aluminum cans (24 lbs), about 4 pounds of brass and 1 to 2 pounds of copper and received $37 bucks and 40 cents for my trouble. Not bad for items that had just been laying around the old house's garage for over 14 years (not the crushed cans though). I wasn't about to leave any of it at the curb during the move or in the trash either. I have dealt with the Recycling Center for 20 years and must admit, things HAVE changed there for the better during yesterday's visit. Only aluminum products were left to them in the past: beer, cleaned up food trays and soda can items were all that I ever dropped off. As stated above, being a now retired plumber for 26 years, I had a few brass & copper items salvaged from water heater, hose bibs & kitchen and bathroom faucet upgrades. Had to wait for 20 minutes to get served, BUT for the $$$ received for junk items, I'm quite satisfied. Would have given them 5 stars if the property was paved with asphalt or concrete, but this should not hinder one from visiting this business. If you EVER think you are being short changed, ask for a receipt and/or report them to the BBB or the Attorney General's office. I felt his way back in the past, but aluminum prices have always been cyclical. I would rather receive $8 to $11 dollars for 20 to 24 pounds of crushed cans rather to see them end up in a land fill like MOST folks I know who throw them away. Oh well, "I'm just SAYIN'..." I anticipated feeling awkward about where to go and what to do when I headed toward the Recycling Center. I chose them because of a good review that I saw versus the other nearby center that had some horrible ones. From the moment I pulled into the wrong driveway, Joe, the owner, directed me to the correct pull in, met me at my door and gave me clear instructions on what to do and how. It was very easy. The gentleman who unloaded my truck for me, took out the metals that had a better value and we processed those separate. He didn't have to do that and could have called it all the same. I had some brass and aluminum mixed in there. The process was very simple, they took care of everything and I walked away with some cash. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I give this place a star. only because you can not give Zero. I had deviders in my truck to keep the types of metal seperate. The fellow outside just grabbed adding my insulated wire to a scale started on aluminum. When i said to hold up he said it was ok. I had to tell him three times. I finaly reloaded the metal and left. Joe, the owner wins the prize for the biggest jerk-a*s and poorest in customer service I've ever encountered - don't ask questions, apparently it's not allowed and (in his mind) gives him license to yell at you. Maybe he forgot to take his anti-psychotics today. Also, what their scales said was not what mine said. Called to inquire about selling a vehicle. The offer was lower than I could accept, although definitely in line with what others in the business would offer. I was in the process of telling the man I spoke to that I would need to speak to my husband but if we changed our mind we would definitely call back when I was interrupted with a question about what price I expected. The rest of the conversation degraded quickly with the person on the other end using a very condescending tone, calling me stupid, and finally cursing at me. An attempt to call back to ask to speak to a supervisor resulted in my being yelled at and again, hung up on. Unfortunately it seems like the man I spoke to is the business owner and/or manager. As such, I cannot in good faith recommend working with this company. read more

pull in to the unpaved parking lot, back your way in and have your trunk/bed close to the weighing station. the guys there unload everything and weigh it then you go to the little window and you get your $. drive away and done. very simple, they are open everyday. hablan español. read more

Gave me 2 cents per pound of steel. What a rip off. Never coming back again. I had at least 200lbs of steal and left with $2 even.
