Great service and value! I love that unlimited miles are included in the cost. Not to mention, the June rate was great too! The Kuga van had no problems over a ten day trip and we had plenty of propane left over when we got it refilled before returning. It was very spacious and easy to convert the bench seating into the bed. We did not use any hook ups in order to save money and did not need the microwave at all. The fridge and interior lights are well powered with solar power. There are plenty of places to park for free when traveling with the van. It is just hard to be covert with "Campervan Rental" on the side.

I had nothing less than an outstanding and seamless experience with Travellers Autobarn both in Inglewood, CA and at the San Francisco locations. My girlfriend and I set out on a California road trip from LA to San Francisco and had mapped out a route that would take us through Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks. The pick-up process was completely seamless and we were helped by Jordan at the Inglewood location. We ventured out in the height of the pandemic (November 2020), and Travellers Autobarn has beyond exceeded my expectations in regards to sanitation and cleanliness. We arrived with the van ready for pick-up with all the necessities included which was provided by Travellers Autobarn with the assistance of one of the Australia representatives Amy. We took off and immediately acclimated and got comfortable with driving the 18ft van which is similar to driving any truck as I drive a pick-up at home. They also provided a handy radio transmitter so I can play music off my iPhone and have GPS ready. I do recommend bringing a phone holder to attach to the dashboard. We ventured over 1000 miles and never had an issue with the van other than a blown fuse that blew probably under my control. I did get that replaced at a gas station as I was savvy enough to trouble shoot the issue. The Kuga van we had rented was a complete tank and was able to keep us off grid with the perfect amenities. The fridge, sink, stove and lights all worked off the auxiliary power (solar panels) so we can remain off-grid without worrying about shore power or a campsite hook-up. We did however, book a powered hook-up site for one night where temperatures hit below 20f so we could use the provided heater which needed a power source. Other than that it was fine adventuring through Sequoia and Yosemite with adequate sleeping bags even during winter. Overall, the experience with Travellers Autobarn has been nothing less than 5 stars and I would highly recommend it to any travelers looking to try something new or rent a campervan to take you off-grid! Even the customer service line provided any answers for questions we may had. I apologize that I can not recall the name of the manager of the San Francisco (Hayward, California) location. But, I do want to thank him for his help and accommodation as we arrived late for the drop-off time and he also was very kind and directed us the best way to get to our hotel. This review is my honest testimony. However, Travellers Autobarn had provided us with the van in exchange for my honest review. Please feel free to check out my adventure with the van on my YouTube channel - Eric Ventures.

Awesome campervan! The Kuga was perfect for my wife and I. The van was not the fastest but ran well with no issues. Stove, sink, fridge and interior lights worked great. Everything was clean and the inside didnt have any funky "van" smells. Pick up and dropoff were really good too, thanks Russell in LA! Highly recommend!

My family had a great time with the Kuga van. It's very convenient and affordable, accommodates up to 3 people. Good alternative to RV as it's very mobile and can park anywhere. Includes gas stove, microwave, solar powered fridge, sink and more.

We rented a van for our daughter and her boyfriend as a Christmas gift. (pictured below) The whole process was a breeze. Pick up and drop off was super simple. The best part is there are no hidden fees!!! (No young driver fee and no miles fee) My daughter and her boyfriend had a blast on their 9 day road trip. They were safe and did not have any mechanical issues. This company was established in Australia so don't be alarmed when you talk to someone from Australia! Everyone we encountered within this company was kind and genuine. Overall, it was a FUN TRIP and a great Christmas present for my daughter. I really hope this company succeeds in America because we will be using them again!

So I booked through RV share. I had some issues in the past with "their system", and then updating payment charges. I came to Travelers Autobarn to pick up the RV and I believe RV Share did not charge properly when I paid in full. Also RV share had me picking up at LA instead of Hayward. So the Vince and Jared really helped me out with charges that were improperly handled and they made sure I was taken care of. And any questions I Had they answered with ease and poise. These 2 work hard cleaning, checking the vans, and bringing customers in. I can't tell you how much this was appreciated especially since I was nervous about this trip. I hope you too get a raise. Thank you for your hard work.

What an amazing experience! Did a 3 week rental during COVID to get out of San Francisco and what a great way to travel across the country. The van has everything you need and more to enjoy the great outdoors in an environment where most campgrounds are still closed, limited, or fully booked. The ultimate freedom to sleep, cook, and travel anywhere you want. The customer service was exceptional and I can't wait to book my next adventure with Travellers Autobarn. A+++++

We ended up planning out our route and partaking on an epic Pacific Northwest roadtrip that eventually led us to Glacier National Park. Throughout the journey, "Peggy", our trusted camper van, led the way. From booking to pick up, during our rental and everything in between, the entire process was extremely easy and straightforward. I was thoroughly glad that I had paid for the unlimited mileage option as we definitely put some miles on Peggy. I was also thoroughly glad that I had paid for the insurance protection because unfortunately we needed to use it, getting a crack in our windshield while driving through the national park. All of the staff that I encountered at Escape Campervans were extremely friendly and engaging. They were helpful and very kind. The camper van itself was given to us in pristine condition and very user-friendly. It was comfortable for our 8 day roadtrip and we appreciated having the kitchenette in the back to cook our meals when we wanted. There was tons of storage and the bed was comfy. it definitely sparked an interest in my husband and I to eventually own our own someday. Thank you, Escape Campervans for making our first camper van experience so memorable!

The trip went well though the drawers did stick from time to time. As the vehicle lights stayed on for a few minutes after exit/entry when using the restroom at night, the engine had to be run in the morning for a few minutes to charge up the battery. Return was easy. Milton, the young man handling the turn in was friendly and efficient. A little advice: as the gas stations are a distance away from the rental agency, try to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas if possible. Would happily rent from the agency again.

Our communication crossed multiple forms of media (call, text, email) which was greatly appreciated given my change in time zones and work schedule. Tanner was quite patient, as I was a novice and did not know what I was looking for--just that I wanted a camper to make travel nursing in remote areas safer and a bit more serene in a 3 week timeframe. Tanner was knowledgeable, personable, professional, and always available! He went above and beyond, I was beyond grateful that Tanner was there for each question, frustrating moment, and moment during the selection and finance process. Tanner excelled in finding the perfect camper for the client's needs, coordinating between departments, and maintaining exceptional customer service. A few times I wanted to chose another dealership or disregard this idea, but Tanner was truly the deciding factor! September was ray of sunshine in an otherwise stressful financing portion of the experience. She too was knowledgeable, helped me find options that best suited me in financing and RV coverage. After signing there is an extensive walk through to ensure I knew what every button operated, how to hook up to power/water/sewage, and troubleshooting tips. Despite how busy they were, I did not feel rushed in any part of pick up day. Fast forward, in my first week questions were eagerly answered over the phone no matter how many times I called. Later during my learning curve of driving an RV, I needed assistance from the parts and repair department-- Brad and Justin were shining stars! They alleviated my stress by meeting my urgency with urgency and professionalism, repairing what they could, and assisting with finding a repair shop and starting the estimates. Never once did they make me feel like i was not a priority, embarrassed or ashamed. They continued to extend that professional courtesy even afterwards. I cannot describe every instance or employee but i urge you to make HAPPY DAZE the only call you make for a trade-in or new purchase!

You will need service and they will absolutely let you down and disappoint you at every turn. Our purchase experience in Oct 2021 was very good, Jason and team were very helpful and we got a very fair deal. Pick up day wasn't great, there were about 9 things that I found that had to be fixed during the walk-through. My strong advice here is to not sign the paperwork until after you do the walk-through. Essentially we already owned the RV the first time we got to walk it and find all the problems, not a good situation. Derek and the service team took care of us and after a couple hours we were able to leave with the 9 above things mostly fixed. Within 3 weeks of purchase we started having issues with the Schwintek slide mechanism not working correctly, it was popping and there were metal shavings coming from it. Back it went to the Happy Daze and they recommended full slide column replacement, after much back and forth, including having to pick it up for a trip and then bring it back, it was fixed after a month or so. I later discovered the ladder was damaged during the time at Happy Daze, which isn't surprising considering the crazy amount of RVs in the tiny lot that have to be moved around constantly. We then had good experiences with our 2400BH for next few months. July 2022, we were camping for the 4th and noticed our Furrion12v refrigerator wasn't cooling well. This is apparently a very common problem with these units. We limped it along for the trip and when we got home I did a bunch of testing, called Furrion for help and they said in the 1st year of the 2 year warranty I have to work with Grand Design, ugh, not looking forward to this. Also, our slide starting popping and creating metal shavings again. I called Happy Daze service and Alfred answered, I explained the situation and let him know we had our next camping trip in 5 weeks. He set an appointment for us to drop it off in 2 weeks, not great, but acceptable. I called Alfred 1 week after dropping it off and asked for the status, now is where things really go down hill. He said they haven't looked at it yet and they won't until it is "my turn," I asked when that would be, he said he didn't know. I asked how many RVs are in front of me, he said maybe 20. I mentioned again that we have a trip now in 2 weeks, he said they will try and look at the fridge. This is crazy to me, why would I drop my RV off if you aren't going to look at in the next day or two, what is the point of making an appointment? I let another 10 days go by and call again, no answer, I called more than 6 times over the course of 3 days, no answer. I left a voicemail, nothing. We are now 2 days from camping so I go to pick up my RV. Alfred is there, he says oh yeah, there are only a couple more in front of you at this point. Great, I need to collect it so we can go to our scheduled trip with everything still broken. It was in the farthest possible spot in the back, they had to move at least 6 other RVs to get to mine. One hour later I get to take my still broken, and now very dirty RV home and bring it back the following Monday. I am so mad at this point I could scream. I happened to run into Jason, who sold me the RV, less than 10 months ago. I explained my situation, he had no response, another customer came over and asked him a question and he took that opportunity to quickly get away from me. It is all very sad and maddening. This is not our first RV, we owned a Forest River Coachmen for 5 years that never once had to be serviced. Grand Design is advertised as a premium product and experience, I can say I will never buy one again. I love our RV, I love RVing, but the complete lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. I do want to say that Derek in the service department is an awesome guy, he recognizes me every time I come in (which is entirely too often), is super friendly and goes out of his way to try and make me feel better, he is very much one man alone. Do not buy an RV from Happy Daze until and unless they fix their broken service department.

I tried to work with the owner to rectify some incorrect charges and I was accused of having a learning disability. SMGDH The story goes like this: I recently booked a trip with Trekker Vans and it was, by far and away, the worst vehicle rental experience I have ever had. I returned the van in a perfectly fine condition (see attached photos), and with a full tank of gas, but was charged $100 in cleaning fees and fuel. The rental agreement stipulates that the van not be returned "excessively dirty" which I later realized was code for "Trekker Vans wants you to return it spotless, and will nickel and time you at their discretion." The gas tank was also full when I dropped it off, so I really have no idea where the fuel charge came from. I tried working with Nate to find an amicable solution but that simply did not work. He was myopically focused on proving his point versus hearing me out. I ultimately had to end the conversation when he accused me of having a learning disability. We weren't ready to buy, and when we communicated that, she understood. A couple of weeks later, after thinking through the different choices, we came back. April was by then on maternity leave, so we worked with Briana, who was equally friendly, knowledgable, and low-key. The transaction was smooth and painless. No last minute charges, no pressure to buy extended warranty (though one was available if we wanted it). We arranged for financing with our credit union, and that was fine, too (no pressure to take financing through the dealer). We are now in small claims court unfortunately due to the company's inability to stand up and do what's right. I think this all started due to the employee we started with Ron who is no longer working there. Originally contacted Family RV to make a 7pin pig tail for our Lance truck camper. That pig tail wasn't done right or something happened to it, intermitent issues with turn signals and brake lights. Decided to take the entire rig in for service to get a new furnace and some electrical work done. New furnace is great, they did work I did not ask for or approve and charged me for it. The rig also was damaged while in their care, exterior was hit and punctured a pretty good hole in the front of the camper. They provided us with a free rental since we had planned to use our RV. That rental's slide out stopped operating at the RV park... They couldn't find the short for the electrical work I asked for... Short story 5800 dollars, a new furnace, repaired damage caused at their shop, the same short, and a new pig tail. We are now in small claims court to get some of the money back for the work that I didn't ask to be done and electrical work that was never identified or fixed. Will definitely not be going back here again.
