I had the pleasure to rent RV7 from Martin (2020 Winnebago Vita 24F) last year (2023) for Burning Man. The RV was great and Martin was good to communicate with. The RV was super clean, well kept, and well equipped. Martin was helpful in providing a thorough walk through and we are going back with the same RV this year 2024. They remembered us and are working with us to fine tune some of the options that the RV can support. Pick up and drop off was super easy and they were flexible with our timings. looking forward to go back this year :)
This was our first RV trip and our family had a blast! Our kids said it was their favorite vacation ever. Martin and Michael at Live2RV were extremely helpful and responsive. We rented a 24' Coachmen/Mercedes Turbodiesel that was easy to drive and fit into 2 standard size parking spaces. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 tall teenagers. We stayed at the KOA in Benbow and drove through the Avenue of the Giants visiting various redwood state parks. We will definitely rent from Martin again. CA is a great state to visit in a RV!
First time RV renter. The Live2RV team was responsive and supportive given we had never used an RV before. The RV itself was in great condition. We took it all the way up the California Coast to Oregon and down highway 5 with no issues. It handled better than I expected on most roads and it was so convenient to be able to stop anywhere to cook lunch for the family. Definitely a positive experience and a great company to rent from.
When Covid struck and our annual summer family vacation plans were spoiled by not being able to fly, the idea of a grand road trip across the West (Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming) was born. Our current camper van, while totally ideal for California adventures, was not going to cut it for two weeks with two teenagers along for the ride. I thankfully discovered Martin and his beautiful fleet of luxury rentals and he had the EXACT rig I was looking for (24ft, booth dinette, slide, full corner bed, Mercedes diesel). I've owned and operated various RV's, trailers, and camper vans for 20+ years and I know first hand the in's and out's of recreational vehicle ownership. Martin has done an exceptional job of choosing a fleet that is not only comfortable but practical. FYI...anything larger than 24ft is not only cumbersome for driving but getting into state and national parks, along with smaller campgrounds is damn near impossible. Not to mention the general reliability and exceptional gas mileage of the Mercedes diesel is second to none. The customer service and support we received was also top notch. He clearly cares about his vehicles, and honestly I would have never known it was a rental given the excellent condition it was in. If you are in need of an RV, look no further. This is about as good as it's going to get, outside of owning your own. We will most certainly be back if the need calls again. Thanks Martin!
We were first time RVers and given COVID, we decided this would be the safest way for us to travel this Summer. We opted for one of Live2RV's 2018 Coachman Prism RVs with a Mercedes engine. It was awesome. The inside had a super comfortable large bed, and another bed over the cab, which was perfect for our family of 3. In the evenings, we expanded the living space using a very large slide-out and rolled out the outside awning to have dinner. The RV took a little getting used to - 13 ft clearance, must avoid low hanging trees and overpasses- but the rear and side view cameras made it relatively easy to maneuver. The Mercedes engine provides lots of power for going up hills and the Diesel engine had relatively good gas mileage. Much better than a standard Ford Model Winnebago friends have rented from CruiseAmerica. Live2RV was very good to work with - top flight professionals, detail oriented and took their time to explain how everything worked. If you're a first timer, I'd definitely recommend them. They were very supportive, took their time in answering questions and alleviated a lot of our novice anxieties.
We have had two great experiences with Mike and Martin using their RVs for three week trips, one to Oregon and Washington and one to the southern California and Arizona deserts. Their well-maintained rigs let us focus on the experience of our trips and not on solving problems with the equipment. Any questions we had or problems we needed solved were just a phone call or text away. They were very responsive to us on the road and we'll be back for more!
I wanted to see my family in NC and decided that driving an RV across the country would be the best way to be able to see them. My partner, John, and I started looking at possibly buying one and settled on renting instead. We were looking at rental options and a Liv2RV ad was served up to John. We were so lucky because the timing was perfect and one of their 2018 Prism Coachman RVs was available for the dates we wanted which ended up being 7 weeks. We drove the RV almost 7,000 miles and spent the majority of the time sleeping in it. We did as Martin suggested and watched YouTube videos, and he spent almost 2 hours with us reviewing all the systems too. Therefore, we were well prepared to take care of the RV. We found it so comfortable and surprisingly fun (at least for me) to drive. John got the straight boring stretches because that was his comfort zone. I was very impressed by how professional and thorough Martin and his team were. They clearly take great care of their RV's, and it shows in the cleanliness and maintenance of our RV. I was sad to return it to them and would definitely rent from them again.

I was looking to try out an RV on the Sprinter chassis and a craigslist search lead me to this husband & wife family business. They were super easy to deal with & I appreciated the ability to pay and secure the dates online. The wife was really great at going through everything on the RV and making sure it was clean and ready to go. Typically when you rent RV'a they are beat up and dirty. This was definitely the exception and even my wife, who is meticulous said it was very clean. All in all it was a great weekend and I really liked the Sprinter based RV. I would rent from these folks again.
This was our first time renting an RV, had travel trailers before, but wanted to soak in the scenery on our family trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Martin was fantastic, very responsive to all of our questions and accommodated our request for a Sunday pickup, even though it was not his normal business hours. Pickup was a breeze, a thorough walkthrough of our RV and its amenities. Drop off was just as easy and once again Martin accommodated us when we came home early. We had an amazing time as a family using Martin's RV for a family trip to Yosemite. The staff was kind and showed us how to operate the RV and explained all of the details and nuances of using the RV. The Four Winds RV that we rented ran smooth and had no issues on the way up to Yosemite. Everything operated well at the camp site and provided enough space for our entire family. For drop off their staff warmly welcomed us back and ensured that our trip went well. We will be back for our next trip. read more

Martin's rigs are clean and well maintained. The Mercedes truck chassis was surprisingly nice and easy to drive. What stood out most was the excellent level of communication and support throughout our rental experience. Pick-up and return appointments were confirmed and happened on-time. We rented an RV for a trip to Morro Bay, with our dogs, in January, despite the threatening rain storms, and had a wonderful trip. The weather cooperated and we spent a great time on the beaches. Live2RV provided an amazing experience with world class service! It was our first time renting an RV for a road trip to Zion, Bryce, Moab, the Arches and finally the Grand Canyon before circling back to California. Live2rv provided us with a Mercedes RV equipped ( at no additional charge ) with cooking supplies, camping chairs, fold out table and all necessary hoses and adaptors to operate the RV. Up on meeting they spent one hour coaching us on how to properly use the vehicle and even provided us with an app which helped us find our favorite camp sites on our trip. The vehicle was clean and everything functioned perfectly, the communication was excellent which made our trip that much more pleasurable. These guys really go the extra mile to make sure the customer is taken care of. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting to rent and RV for a nice family vacation. read more

I couldn't have been more impressed and happy with our experience with Live2RV. Having never RV'd before, it was critical for me to find a company that I could trust with reliable, higher end vehicles, and this fit the bill perfectly. Mike walked me through the entire vehicle from end to end, spending close to 90 minutes giving me a full orientation, and by the time he was done I felt like I had a good sense of what I was doing. He was also available and super responsive by text when a couple questions came up along the way. The RV itself was in great condition - virtually new, well stocked with kitchen supplies and other equipment, and not a scratch on it. The family had a blast and when we decide to RV again, there's no other company I'll call. Truly cannot recommend highly enough. read more

If you're a first time RV'er Live2RV should be the only outfit you consider in the Bay Area. Given COVID we opted for an RV trip this summer to visit Crater Lake NP. It was our first time RV'ing and Martin was available before the trip for multiple calls to answer all of my newbie questions. And then his partner Vivien was available while we were on the road for any and all questions related to the vehicle and it's features. She even FaceTime'd us through our first gray/black water dump - talk about service! You'll also find Liv2RV's vehicles to be better than the big rental outfits on the market. We were in a vehicle with a Mercedes Sprinter van chassis ("RV-4") so gas mileage and handling were far superior to the competition. Our RV also had a slideout, which made for a much more comfortable space when we were parked. And the RV was equipped with many cooking and dining utensils to lighten the packing load. There are details to consider when renting RVs that many first timers don't have on their radar, and a lot can go wrong. Martin and Vivien combine great vehicles with fantastic service to make sure you know what you're doing when you hit the road, and that your RV trip is the amazing vacation you envision it to be. As a small business, they care about their product and pay attention to customer experience in a way the big rental outfits simply do not. read more

Our family rented 2 Class C 2020 Mercedes Winnebago Sprinters for our 6 day road trip to NorCal and Southern Oregon. We had a great time in the RVs and made amazing memories. This was our first time RV camping and our orientation during pick up was very thorough. They went over the ins and outs and functionality of the RV...making it much less stressful starting our vacation. The return also was convenient and easy. Highly recommended to all who are looking to rent than buying their own RVs. read more

My wife and I rented a RV for a week long trek in Northern CA. We visited Napa, Redwoods National Park and drove down the PCH back to the SF area. The RV was great. The Mercedes diesel was so smooth on the windy and twisty mountain roads. Martin and his team were very knowledgeable. You can tell they have great pride in ownership of their fleet. read more

We rented an RV from Martin to do a long road trip from California to Idaho. This was the first time we had done an RV trip and Martin was super helpful. He spent 2 hours with us upfront and taught us all we needed to know about RVs, the process of cleaning and dumping the RV, what to avoid, etc. We even drove around the neighborhood a bit together to make sure we had the hang of things. He also checked on us during our trip to make sure the RV was working properly. The RV was spotless when we picked it up and super functional on the inside. His fleet of 6 is all late model RVs and we had no issues with ours. True professional- don't hesitate to rent from him! read more

We have rented RVs from Martin and his beautiful wife for 3 years and we are already planning our trip for next year. My husband and i were going to skip this year because of a house purchase but our children absolutely insisted and Martin somehow made it happen so late in the season. The rvs run great. The bed is so comfortable. Clean. Great gas mileage.... and did I mention... clean??? Weve heard of others renting rvs from other places and not only with fees did they pay more, but they didn't get half the perks of the type of quality RV that Martin rents and they all commented on it not feeling clean. I can't stress this enough. The slide out is king. The place is so comfortable and with the air conditioner, kitchen, microwave .... we pack Costco meals and the fun foods... and with so much storage - never having to unpack to set up camp or go into a hotel... I'm not sure why everyone doesn't do this! The best family memories. Looking forward to doing it again next summer. Thank you! read more

The Live2Rv team have it all figured out. From the detailed check out all the way to drop off, the experience was just great. The Mercedes RVs gave us the luxury feeling of the brand being very economical and reliable going up the mountain. The cabin and the house of the RV were immaculately clean and everything worked perfectly. We are already planning out next trip next year. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Martin and Live2RV. We took a 2 week trip, from the East Bay to Tahoe, down to Arches National Park, The Grand Canyon, and Joshua Tree. The Prism RV we rented was perfect for us being first time RV renters/drivers. It drove/ride so smoothly. Being a Diesel engine saved us so much money on gas. It was great having our own little house on wheels during the pandemic. This was a great trip, which convinced us to buy an RV when we retire. We would definitely rent from Martin again!! read more
