I also didn't want to rent one of those old RV's with the terrible interiors (you know what I'm talking about) EXPERIENCE Me, the husband, and our dog had a great adventure! He got to do his camping and I got to "glamp" , sleep in a real bed, and take a real shower. The interior was AMAZING, like a hotel room. Also, they stocked it with everything, like a hotel! (sheets, silk filled blankets, pots, pans, toaster, coffee bean grinder!, knife sharpener, wood, chairs, tables, foil, cooking spray, hair dryer..etc..)literally anything you might need, not just the essentials. Our majestic moving toilet was easy to drive, park, and gave us access to views we'd never see in a regular car. With the RV we could get up at the crack of down, drive to a spot in our jammies, watch the sunrise and make breakfast in front of the lake before the crowds arrive. OWNERS Derek and Conrad were the 2nd best part (besides the RV itself), they were always available on the phone when we didn't know how to use something. PRICING Their price is all inclusive, so even though it seems more expensive then like Rent America RV's , in the end its worth it! . There is a deposit on top of the price as well, and though we broke a door and antenna, the repair was only $50 bucks. They are so honest and will not nickle and dime you or charge for BS things (unlike apartment deposits) TLDR - more expensive , but price is all inclusive, unlike other rentals! - the RV's are stocked with EVERYTHING ( you just need to come with your clothes) - RV's are modern and true definition of "glamping" - Derek and Conrad are fantastic host and will ensure you have an amazing time! If you're thinking about it, stop. Just do it! You won't regret it.

I traveled on my own so it was important for me to find something affordable, comfortable to drive and I would feel secure sleeping in. VanVenture checked off all those boxes and more! There check in was great, the staff wore their masks and kept at a comfortable distance while explaining to me where I could find everything that I would need. They also showed me how to use the heated mattress pad which came in handy during these cold winter nights. Driving the van along the curvy coastline was a breeze. The best part, I think, is that there is no cleaning fee if you bring it to the carwash and vacuumed before returning! Returning the van was also nice because the staff were so friendly and asked about my trip. I am excited for the warmer weather and I will be planning a trip ahead of time to secure my adventures.

We received the rental right after someone else and they did not dump the sewage and it backed up into the trailer. We also had no luck with taking a shower because the shower started flooding out out of the bottom The trailer into the storage area, where it completely soaked all of our things that we had stored. Forget trying to use the awning wouldn't even go out a quarter of the way. And when you return it and tell them about all these issues, they will tell you nothing about discounts or how sorry they were or anything. They will just charge you for running the generator longer because on the form it says you need to run the generator to get the battery charged enough to run the refrigerator so that that's what we tried to do And apparently, we ran the generator too long because they charged us for extra hours . Never ever ever rent from this place zero Customer Service. They just want people to rent from them so they can get their trailers fixed through other people's insurance. Would never recommend them to anyone . There were no broken pieces inside of the RV when returned so that doesn't make any sense. The actual Renter is my mother and my stepfather who I accompanied on this trip. And yes, things got heated on the phone call when I kept trying to speak and was being spoken over. When trying to voice my concerns and feelings they would just talk louder . Still zero accountability for all of the problems that we had with the RV.

I tried to work with the owner to rectify some incorrect charges and I was accused of having a learning disability. SMGDH The story goes like this: I recently booked a trip with Trekker Vans and it was, by far and away, the worst vehicle rental experience I have ever had. I returned the van in a perfectly fine condition (see attached photos), and with a full tank of gas, but was charged $100 in cleaning fees and fuel. The rental agreement stipulates that the van not be returned "excessively dirty" which I later realized was code for "Trekker Vans wants you to return it spotless, and will nickel and time you at their discretion." The gas tank was also full when I dropped it off, so I really have no idea where the fuel charge came from. I tried working with Nate to find an amicable solution but that simply did not work. He was myopically focused on proving his point versus hearing me out. I ultimately had to end the conversation when he accused me of having a learning disability. At that point, I realized there was no hope of being treated with any form of respect. If you want to be ripped off, talked down to, and insulted then go with Trekker Vans. Otherwise, go literally anywhere else.

Yet just two days before my trip, disaster struck. I got a call from the owner, apparently he needed the van after being invited on a "last minutes fishing trip with the boys in Vegas." I don't know what that means but it disadvantaged us significantly for our trip. We could only fit one cooler and had to sleep in the car. In previous trips, he insisted we bring his kids with us as he would be "unavailable" and he said if we wanted our deposit back (which we never paid) we had to bring his kids with us as his trip would be "unsuitable." We had no room and had to cram them in the roof box which resulted in a visit to the emergency room (which we had to pay for). I hate to say bad things about small businesses but this was like those prank toys my older siblings would use where they attached a dollar to a string and kept pulling it away from me. We likely will rent again but we will be sure to read the fine print next time. We hope the owner reels in some big whales in Vegas.

I went with a Toyota Corolla, which I drive personally. I like to stick with something I'm used to. It was about $250 for four days. I arrived right on schedule and the car was waiting for me. The gentleman behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. He walked me through everything I needed to know, even the details on tolls and stuff. The car was about two blocks from their office, but they explained how to get to it and even had a print out of a map to help get me there. It also had pictures so there was no way I was going to miss it. The car was a 2021 and in great condition and had a full tank of gas. Another positive of getting a Toyota is the gas mileage. I went to Sonora and back (roughly 275 miles) and I only had to refill once before I dropped it off... which was also super easy. I simply dropped it off where I picked it up and handed the valet the key. I would totally rent from here again if I find myself in the heart of San Francisco and in need of a ride for a few days.

My only small issue is that as a small local company, you might be in a bit of a bind if you need service or have an accident after hours and far out of the city.
