We had a great time with our RV! We were the first to try the new WONDER FTB!…read more My husband wanted to go camping but I did not want to 'rough' it . I also didn't want to rent one of those old RV's with the terrible interiors (you know what I'm talking about) EXPERIENCE Me, the husband, and our dog had a great adventure! He got to do his camping and I got to "glamp" , sleep in a real bed, and take a real shower. The interior was AMAZING, like a hotel room. Also, they stocked it with everything, like a hotel! (sheets, silk filled blankets, pots, pans, toaster, coffee bean grinder!, knife sharpener, wood, chairs, tables, foil, cooking spray, hair dryer..etc..)literally anything you might need, not just the essentials. Our majestic moving toilet was easy to drive, park, and gave us access to views we'd never see in a regular car. With the RV we could get up at the crack of down, drive to a spot in our jammies, watch the sunrise and make breakfast in front of the lake before the crowds arrive. OWNERS Derek and Conrad were the 2nd best part (besides the RV itself), they were always available on the phone when we didn't know how to use something. PRICING Their price is all inclusive, so even though it seems more expensive then like Rent America RV's , in the end its worth it! . There is a deposit on top of the price as well, and though we broke a door and antenna, the repair was only $50 bucks. They are so honest and will not nickle and dime you or charge for BS things (unlike apartment deposits) TLDR - more expensive , but price is all inclusive, unlike other rentals! - the RV's are stocked with EVERYTHING ( you just need to come with your clothes) - RV's are modern and true definition of "glamping" - Derek and Conrad are fantastic host and will ensure you have an amazing time! If you're thinking about it, stop. Just do it! You won't regret it.

Moises was outstanding to work with. I explained what I had and what I needed and he said no problem let me give you a quote. Quote was great so we scheduled the work. He called to confirm Friday about what time I would be arriving on Monday. After dropping it off he confirmed when it would be ready. The next afternoon it was done; ahead of schedule and on budget. Got up there to pick it up and the installation was perfect and the interior was clean and everything was in its place. It's been years since I have found this level of customer service and professionalism. I highly recommend them for your upholstery needs.

El Monte, Cruise America, small local renters, and private parties thru Outdoorsy. Our experience with A Family Affair has by far been the best ever! Moses and his wife run a genuine mom and pop shop and have a great passion for their clients. They not only made the rental experience quick and easy, they were a joy to work with. We rented their almost new 2024 Entegra Odyssey 30Z class C. As a new rig, there were a few minor issues that came up. Moses was super helpful and got back to me via phone to help me thru the problems we did have. He was also nice enough to let me park my car in his yard while we were gone, and made the return check in process super easy. I wish I had discovered A Family Affair years ago. I will definitely rent from them again, and highly recommend them!

Bay Area Airstream Adventures - After pick up from service

I've seen several recent negative reviews of Bay Area Airstream Adventures, and although I don't…read moredoubt they reflect the experience of those who wrote them I have to say it has not been my experience doing business there. We've purchased two Airstreams from them and had excellent service. Not inexpensive, but high quality. I also always found them to advocate for me with Airstream to get the issues covered under warranty whenever possible. Things break on RV's, and I've broken plenty of stuff myself over the years, all of which Bay Area Airstreams fixed, and when there was a problem with there work addressed it and didn't charge me. RV's aren't investments, and Airstreams aren't perfect, but I don't regret my purchase.

I will start off by saying I posted a bad review after we purchased a trailer from this…read moreorganization. After numerous calls to the regional manager and the store manager we finally got some resolution to the problems we had. I reluctantly deleted that review and will now address the issues so far. The Good: It's a great showroom as you would expect. The sales person was informative about the product on hand. We left after a couple hours feeling pretty good. We discussed some follow up items with him with the understanding we would hear from him soon. And that's where it all falls apart... The Bad: Don't expect a call back from anyone, literally no one will call you back unless they think they're bagging a whale for a sale. Sales person (Brent) never once called back after this point unless we initiated some sort of contact. This should have been a sign considering most sales people in this position are vultures who relentlessly hound you. My guess is, these guys must be making so much in commissions they don't have a need to care about service, I'm not sure... With that out the way we decided to drink the kool aid and join the Airstream club. After signing all the paperwork and handing over the hefty down payment and discussing everything we wanted and need to pay extra for, Brent assured us everything would be taken care of and there would be no surprises. Boy were we wrong... The sales guy didn't bother to show up on delivery day, I find that odd. I've never had that happen before. The day we went to pick up the unit we are immediately hit with extra charges for items we wanted and talked about. Not that big of a deal, we just wanted to be prepared. Be up front and honest. The back door was damaged and needed to be repaired and all of the cargo nets on it were worn. We should have just left the unit there and went home, we knew better, but we were excited. Before we left the technician assured us that they would order a new door and replace the nets under warranty. We would also be getting a call the following week to set up an appointment to have to replaced. That sounded reasonable enough for us, so we left. Unfortunately as usual, we never received a call back, so we called them. Upon talking to them we were informed that we would then have to make multiple trips hours away back and forth from the dealership to deal with their repair issues. After numerous calls, texts, emails to discuss the problem with this I finally got ahold of the store manager, Kevin. When Kevin called, he proceeded to yell, talk down to me and act like a complete jerk. I had to put him in his place and tell him not to talk to me in a disrespectful tone and manner. After having a much better conversation a short time later, he agreed to come pick up the trailer and have it repaired in 7 to 10 days. I also explained to Kevin that we were leaving on a trip in 3 weeks. Time was imperative. Also didn't need to get done immediately, but he assured us that it would be taken care of. After 7 days we started making inquiries as to when it would be done. Again crickets. 10 days, more crickets. More calls, texts, emails. When I get ahold of the first person they explain they have no idea they even picked up my trailer or even started a repair. Also again promised a call back. Hours go by. Wife calls now. Long story short. They haven't even thought about repairing it yet!!! WTF Then the service person explained we were more than welcome to pick it back up on our dime. I'm so annoyed and angry... The story continues to another day... I will update accordingly Buyer beware!

Avoid at all costs. Complete bait and switch sales tactics. Reserved a specific RV, paid a $1000…read moredeposit and TWO MONTHS later received a phone call from Allstar Coaches saying the RV which we had reserved was no longer available. We were told the original sale associate who booked our reservation is no longer with the company. There were no records of the coach we had reserved or the prices quoted for the reservation, which had been confirmed and a deposit paid. The CEO Rob T. responded: "I was "said employees" supervisor while she was here, and unfortunately, I was never consulted or approached to confirm pricing or availability or even made aware of this matter." Not a great way to run a business or hire employees that represent your company. I'm sorry, but you were their direct supervisor and this is your response to the matter? This was completely unacceptable and zero effort was given to solve this problem in good faith. Any other high end coach rental business sales associate would have had multiple options ready to present to us to make things right. Nothing was offered other than "sorry for the inconvenience" and "at least we reaching out now, not days before departure". A smaller coach was offered to us at a considerably HIGHER rate. This is a bait and switch sales tactic to the definition. All of this could have easily been solved by the CEO offering us the smaller coach rental at a reduced rate, let alone the same price we were quoted and placed a $1000/deposit two months ago. Instead the our rental was cancelled without any price negotiation by Rob T. and Allstar Coaches LLC. Our vacation plans are now ruined as we've already purchased plane tickets to travel across the country and rent an RV with Allstar Coaches. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Allstar Coaches, LLC.

This review is long overdue!…read more We bought our first travel trailer here in 2022, an InTech Sol Eclipse. The next year we traded it in for a slightly bigger one, the Sol Horizon. Nohr's was one of the few dealers who sell the brand InTech, which is why we initially looked here. We ended up being very pleased with both of our interactions. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, and the buying process was straightforward. Both times we felt we paid a fair price. We never felt like they were playing games with pricing. A few years prior (pre-pandemic) we were at another place, we'll call it Dealer Xstream, and were ready to buy. Having looked at other dealers and knowing what that particular trailer was going for, we made an offer and they said it was too low (it was within average price range in Northern California); they said there was no way they could accept. We didn't buy a trailer that day. Literally the next day they called and asked if we still wanted to buy at our way too low asking price. We declined. We are now super happy with our Sol Horizon from Nohr's and are glad we kept looking around. Nohr's played no games and were transparent with their pricing. With a purchase this big, transparency is very appreciated. We have also had warranty repairs/service done here. Getting the trailer serviced has not always been quick, but it is done well. The long lead time seems to be true of pretty much anywhere you get work done on recreational vehicles in the post pandemic world. Overall, I would recommend Nohr's RV to anyone who is in the market, and InTech trailers to anyone who is looking for a high quality product!

I would not rent from Road Bear Rentals & Sales again based on our recent experience…read more From the very beginning, the experience fell short of expectations. When we picked up the RV, we did not receive a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle or an explanation of its features and operation. Instead of taking the time to show us the ins and outs of the RV in person, we were simply told to watch a 35-minute video if we had questions. For first-time renters or anyone unfamiliar with that specific RV, this was not an adequate substitute for proper customer service. During the second week of our cross-country trip, the generator in our RV stopped working. We had specifically paid for the unlimited generator usage option, yet the generator was never repaired despite our calling and emailing the service department every day. While the water pump was fixed, the generator issue remained unresolved for the rest of our trip. This created serious safety concerns for our family. My mother relies on a CPAP machine to sleep, and we were traveling with children who have special needs. Without a working generator, we were forced to spend approximately $2,000 on hotels just to have air conditioning and electricity overnight. To make matters worse, while we were still in El Paso, Texas--about 20 hours from California--we were instructed to return the RV by 5:00 p.m. California time. We explained that making that drive without a functioning generator in extreme heat was unsafe, but our circumstances did not appear to be taken into consideration. One of Road Bear's own service representatives even told us that the generator was "not a good unit," yet no meaningful solution was provided. We were also never informed that the generator should not be used while driving, despite paying extra for unlimited generator use. We expected a reliable RV and responsive customer service, especially considering the premium price we paid. Instead, we experienced inadequate orientation, an unresolved mechanical issue, significant unexpected expenses, and a great deal of stress during what was supposed to be a memorable family vacation. I hope Road Bear takes responsibility for this experience and improves both the reliability of its vehicles and the level of customer service it provides. Customers should receive a proper in-person orientation before leaving the lot, and mechanical issues that affect safety should be addressed promptly. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend renting from Road Bear Rentals & Sales.
