Buying our Jayko c class was a good experience with our salesperson, however, there service department is a joke. First we had problems with the side door not closing and locking properly so we tried to have the service department fix it. The so called mechanic came out and ended up making it worse than what it was bent door frame and scraped paint. Second issue it went in for a plastic cover to be replaced on the awning, they managed to end up loosing the other cover to the awning and that had to be replaced. When we bought the RV we also purchased a lifetime detail package where they would wax ( seal ) the coach part except the cab. Only the passenger side was waxed ( conveniently on the side where the awning is where you spend your time at ) as I've worked in bodyshops over the years, I know what to look for. They leave a mess in the shower after they have dewinterized it, not exactly the way you want to pick up your RV after paying the bill. Maybe our next RV sale will be with another dealer or sale it and spend our money elsewhere. read more

We had been dealing with a wonderful man in the Duncan, BC lot by the name of Cowboy Jim. He was good to work with, and he found us exactly what we wanted and at a good price. Before the tariffs came into effect. When our trailer arrived in Langley, we were very excited. My husband had been dealing with Truly on the phone prior to getting there. She was easy to talk to & very informative. We were at the Langley location for approx 6 hours which made for a very long day. When doing the orientation, we ran into a major problem with the furnace. The mechanic quickly found a solution to put another one into unit which was great. Most employees we delt with was polite & friendly with the exception to one. We had a run in with one of your managers named Cam, back in December 2024 when we were at your lot. We found him to be very rude. When we were there getting paperwork signed & doing our orientation on the trailer, we came across a little snag. Cam came over to talk to me & I did not like the tone he was using with me or the complete lack of respect for a cash paying customer. It was a good thing my husband was outside at this time or there would have been quite a scene. Thank heavens Garret came to our rescue. He was very polite & listened to what we had to say and went above & beyond by coming to work 1 hour earlier on a Sunday so we could pick up our trailer & get to the Ferry on time. Everyone else we delt with (Truly, Austin & Matt) were outstanding to work with. I would recommend Traveland because of those people. I would also make sure that when I was recommending this Company, to let them know to avoid Cam to the best of your ability. That man should not be working with people. We will be taking our new trailer out in about a week to test it out & make sure everything is in working order. read more

PLEASE, for all buyers, go over your trailer with a fine tooth comb. I had leaks straight out of the gate, yes, they came and fixed right away, but, WHY should I have problems the first night, when its supposedly inspected. Their parts person Kyle, was amazing, as with their mobile team. However, Im VERY disappointed with sales, the owner and manager. We went here to look at new Jayco trailers as they are the only retailer of them in our area. The first bad sign was the cold welcome from the front desk. We were then assigned a salesperson who was less than desirable. We had researched trailers extensively before arriving and quickly realized that many of our questions were answered with misinformation or outright lies. We think that they were trying to make us feel that we could only buy from them. For anyone who isn't research savvy they could easily be mislead by trusting "experts". It's expected that sales people need to sale, but our experiences at competitors solidified that their approach was unprofessional at best. Everywhere else we visited (and eventually bought) had friendly staff that seemed to genuinely want to help us find the right trailer without having to lie to us. Not Happy At All. Bought my trailer just about 1 and half years ago, had a few issues right off the bat that took forever to get fixed. Now the jack won't work. Call them to have someone come and fix and they want to charge me $180 or the service manager Kam tells me to jack it up take off some kind of bolts or something and bring it them. I stated I am 5 foot 3 and have no idea how to do what you are asking me to do. He laughed and said he is trying to help and I either pay or they will not help me! I am now on to speak to a general manager and see what can be done. read more

After an agreement with a down payment (fully refundable) to possibly purchase a RV sight unseen as I live 9 hours away. Everything seemed fine and a bank draft for the full amount was given. The orientation ensued afterwards and we noticed the GVWR was higher than advertised by the dealer. This weight was now to high for my tow vehicle. We then tried to get our money back as the trailer never left the lot. They gave my draft back, but would not refund my $4500. I was misled by the sales group and they would not budge on this. Do "Not" purchase anything from this dealer as they will lie to your face. No morals or ethics exist with this company. read more

Have tried to get parts a few times, each time I deal with someone in the parts department I get promises of a call back with an estimate and each time I have emailed several times afterwards for follow up and never hear back from anyone. The last time was with Kyle. Still waiting a month and a half later I am going elsewhere and never dealing with Traveland again. And certainly will never buy a trailer from them again either. We are in the market to trade up on our current trailer, figured we would give the Langley location a shot. Again..... horrible service. I am so terribly disappointed in Traveland. My hubby and I purchased to RV's from here and after my husband of 33 yrs passed away I returned to purchase a motorhome less than 3 months after his death. Very, very good friends of my purchased a 2019 Momentum from them and have had nothing but issues with their new 5th wheel only 1 day into owning. If Traveland wish to redeem themselves and their reputation, they need to ensure the take care of their customer appropriately without suffering any depreciative costs. The problem is these guys are the only game in town if your an Airstream customer. Very specialized trailer. Very American. New, used, trade ins, financing, parts, service ECT. I bought a 2003 used Airstream in Washington State brought up to BC Canada. A window broke they wanted 1500$ to order in frame glass and install. I replaced the glass with plexiglass and installed myself for 150$. Bracing myself for next hit. Yikes read more

I have been reading so many negative reviews about Traveland in Langley that I thought I would leave a positive review. We bought a used (2017) Jayco trailer there Sept 22, 2022 and the sales person was very good to us. Showed us a few in the size, dry weight, floor plan, and the price range we wanted. Answered all our questions knowledgeably, made a few observations and then left us to take second and third looks to decide which one we preferred. We chose and left for a couple of days so that they could have the service people go over it again. Went to pick it up and everything was ready for us. Paperwork went quickly and as we had a trade in I asked it they would transfer my sway bar hardware from the old trailer to the new one which they did as we did paperwork. Took it home and everything was good. The first time we took it out everything went well until we emptied the tanks. The black water tank light showed 2/3rds full. Put a stick down the toilet and it came up dry so we knew it had emptied. Drove back to Traveland and they looked at it immediately and told us that a piece of paper had stuck to a sensor and that a tool that attaches to a garden hose and shoots water sideways will clean the inside of the tank properly. Tool was cheap enough so we bought one and took it home to try. It worked perfectly and the light for the tanked works perfectly. The next thing was that I couldn't get the pilot light to stay on for the hot water tank. Talked the both Courtney and Jason, service advisors at Traveland, and Jason asked me to light one of the hob's burners and let the propane flow for 30 seconds in case there's air in the line and try to light the pilot again. Again it worked perfectly. So we are very happy with sales, on site service, and telephone help. We've decided that most reviews are put up by people that haven't had things go exactly as planned so they leave negative reviews where folks like us who are happy with everything tend not to put up reviews figuring that good service is the status quo. WE bought a brand new 2020 imagine 2670mk last spring at the rv show in chilliwack bc. We put a deposit down and had to go back 2 weeks later to pick it up. We showed up and our walk through was very minimal and we decided to spent the night in langley to see if everything worked. Our awning arm broke (the bolt) holding the awning was rusted through and let go putting hole in our roof. We took it home because they had to order the arm out of the states. W brought it back for repairs at end of March and left it there. We did not get it back till late April. When we got it back we could not empty the grey water tank as it was seized up with RUST In Fact the whole trailer looked like it had been driven through a salt mine!! Rust on the frame etc. New Trailer??? We have had numerous problems with the fridge not working on gas problems with the regulator and on and on!! WE did not get to use our trailer till late August. Then our kitchen slide would not close or open. Took it to a rv repair shop in Kamloops to fix it. I sent the repair bill $200.00 to Traveland and they said it was a MAINTENCE ISSUE and was not covered under Warranty!!! Do not ever buy a new unit from this dealer!! I may have to go to bc global news to get satisfaction from this company!! I visited the Langley store today looking for an R. V. Awning wash product. I walked around and around and not one person asked if they might be able to help me. I experienced one salesman block the isle I was walking down and basically cut in front of me, then stopped at the end of the isle with a custom blocking my exit. I just pushed through. It was not overly busy in the store as evidenced in that three gentlemen behind the counter were able to group together and carry on a nice little conversation. I think in future I will check avoid this Traveland as customer service doesn't appear to be a high priority and I think lack of staff training might be an issue. read more

Unfortunately I have been played with promises from travel rv within 1 day of my purchase. I bought a rv that was in Calgary location paid extra to have shipped out, as we are living and working in the road atm, then I get message just before they close say it will be another week so now from the promised 3 days to the 10days they are saying. Of course they say open to 8pm on the phone but actually 6 pm they close. The only reason I bought here was the agreement they would have it ready in the time I needed it. My wife and I bought a 25' pontoon boat from Traveland and it was the worst purchasing experience we have ever had. We traveled 4 hours to pick up the boat and they hadn't even prepped it. We waited 5 hours in 110 degree heat while they got it "ready". They hooked it to our truck and off we went. It wasn't long before we realized the tires on the trailer were flat. Sorted that out and drove home. We took it out the next day for it's maiden voyage and the only thing that worked was the engine, no gauges, no radio, no anything, the bimini top frame had fallen apart on the way home as many bolts were missing. They then spent the next year trying to fix the laundry list of issues. A couple were resolved, most were not. We were blamed for most of the issues. I notified the manufacturer and they "deferred" to the dealer on all of it. We still have the boat, we fixed most of the issues ourselves but still have a bent up bimini top frame and electronics that work sometimes. The worst part is that we tried to return it the day after we took delivery when nothing worked and the owner said we couldn't. We threatened to cancel the check and he said he would have us arrested. I WISH WE HAD JUST CANCELED THE CHECK. read more

Bought a travel trailer in 2019 to enjoy during covid. A year later there was a recall on the front window. Tried to set up a service appointment but part was not available. Finally set up an appointment in 2021 for May 2022. Finally brought in trailer for service and some how they forgot/misplaced our work order. They said that they got too busy and we fell between the cracks. 4 weeks later and we called to see what was going on and they told us that it would then be ready that day. Asked what they had done and they said only the recall. We had asked for wheel bearings to be packed and a sealant check. That was missed. We gave them 2 more day for it all to be done and we picked it up. They only helped out by giving 10% off the bill for all the inconvenience. Wont be back, warranty is up anyway. read more

When I gave the salesman at Traveland the "respect" of advising him we selected a competing brand we called me and provided misinformation, lies, and more before hanging up on me. My partner and I stopped into the Airdrie sales centre where we received a cold reception. We asked to see the Class A motorhomes and wanted to speak with someone knowledgeable about them. The saleman said he didn't know a lot about them and the other salesman was on lunch. He let us see 3 of them begrudgingly. He then said that it would be best for us to wait until the motorhome show.....Awkward. We then went to Bucars across the highway in Balzac. They have been amazing. HORRENDOUS! We stupidly bought an RV here and it has had some minor issues. We purchased in April, and weren't going to pick it up until a month later. They had an entire month to fix several things that were wrong. When we went to pick it up, it hadn't been touched, and the parts needed were not there. We scheduled an appointment to for a later date, my husband went through the pain to tow the trailer all the way there from White Rock, and no part!!!!! We rescheduled again for over a month later, and this time, my husband called ahead to confirm they had the part. "Yes, yes" they said. Again, the rigamarole of going out there, and NO PART. This is an amateur mickey mouse operation and I wish we did not buy our unit from them. Total joke. Go elsewhere (we love our RV however). read more

So we bought our second trailer from travel land a Jayco eagle and service was horrible needed boxes to transfer stuff to being told yo walk across a highway to liquor store to get them. To heater not working as we took out first time after they said they fixed day we picked it up. To no one returning phone calls. Worst part is I had what I thought was a friend that helped us with trailer sale my wife as I was at work went to go pick up parts only for him to hit on her as she is in a vulnerable spot in life to leaving the family after 31 years of marriage guess she was thinking gravy train as he's part of the owners family. Since purchasing our 5th wheel in June of 2020 we have had nothing short of the worst experience with this company possible. Anyone looking to purchase from them should definitely read reviews and talk to other previous customers. We bought a brand-new Momentum 5th wheel in June and requested a few upgrades with purchase, as our trailer was a stock unit they already had on the lot and was missing a few factory options we were in need of. From the moments we signed the final purchase agreement is when the problems began. We were promised a work estimate for the added options within days, this took an entire month between getting passed off to different parts & service employees, being told that things listed as "factory prepped" by them and the manufacturer were impossible to do, or illegal such as installing a ducted garage AC unit. Given quotes with pricing only to receive new quotes with higher prices and told too bad, the original quote is no longer valid. After 4 months we finally were able to pick up our trailer for the first time. The AC unit was still not installed any multiple items on the original walk around had not been addressed. Our first trip out encountered several issues (September 2020) and we had to live with them until Traveland would book us in again for December 3rd 2020. At this time the AC units was to finally be installed, the rear awning which had broken was to be replaced, and the original exhaust fan moved from the to-be-installed AC location to the bathroom. As of Feb 01 2021 Traveland, still has our trailer. The AC installation has not been completed; the rear awning has not been replaced (Traveland did not even order the part until the end of Jan - as told by Grand Design directly) To top it off while in the care of Traveland our trailer was broken into on their lot having both man-doors destroyed. Traveland knew about this on the 5th of January but waited 3 weeks to inform me. I was told to contact ICBC at this point and file a claim, which required the police report from Traveland which has yet to be produced further prolonging the process. No replacement doors have been ordered and with speaking to Lippert & Grand Design they informed me that they will take minimum 5-6 weeks once ordered to arrive. Due to the total incompetence of Traveland we now have no hope of getting our trailer back by March 2021 when we intended on moving back into it. This will further impact us financially, while having provided no time over the winter for us to do our own projects/improvements on the unit. Since purchase, we have been put on the back burner, ignored and flat out lied to on many occasions, confirmed by contacting Grand Design to follow up with parts orders promises. Traveland has been in possession of our unit for 6 months out of the 9 we have owned it to date (Feb 01 2021) with no sign of getting it back any time soon... I would never recommend Traveland to anyone, and would strongly advise anyone who is considering dealing with them to look at other possible options, and read past customers reviews. read more

Your company in Langley sucks balls. I've called 5 times in 10 minutes this morning at 11:45 and after 1 ring the call went to voicemail. Not a message like "Hi, you've reached Traveland RV, sorry we can't get your call, but please hold and we'll get to you as soon as we can"..... but a cold "the caller you reached is not available(not personable/cold message)" and then forced to voicemail. WTH? That forces the caller to hang up and try their call again. Why don't you have a hold system for incoming calls???? I asked for the parts department and what do I get there??? Another voicemail message asking me to leave a message and they'd get back to me. Riiiiiiiight Like I'm gonna do that. It's not like your company isn't making any money to afford such a system. My wife and I were impressed with our salesperson Les. He is quite knowledge and experienced in RV living. He first sat us down and spent the time with us assessing our needs and desires. I bought a brand new trailer @Traveland in Langley. I had them install 2 solar panels on the roof. I then asked to have a cover put over one of the roof vents. Apparently they installed the solar panels too close to the vent to allow room to install the cover. So, they unscrewed the solar panels, put some Dicor putty on the holes, and drilled new holes in the roof to reinstall the solar panels before putting the cover on. Now half of the original holes are underneath the solar panels where they cant be seen or accessed should there be future problems with their patch job. Not impressed. read more

Purchased a new Jaco 21"Travel trailer at the end of May 2018 and so far we've had nothing but issues. This trailer is thrown together and everyday we find another deficiencies. Today it's a water leak (pump or water tank not sure). Today I call #Traveland in Langley (Brandy). I'm told service can come out Tuesday (4 days from now) aaand they wanted to charge us a service call!, We paid an extra $3500 for ? Some sort of extra warranty plus extended from a handsome dude named Chris (ohhh he's no longer there, found that out today too) his first price was $5k for the "cover your ass anywhere warranty" but after we said no he dropped his price $1500, and agreed on $3500 (not sure what we paid for at this point). But Brandy can only see a $1500 add on! Not happy! Some of the deficiencies IF INTERESTED and things to look for. so mattress zipper torn (mattress sucks too, you will have to upgrade as we did) wood broken under the bed with broken 2x4's and bowing 1/2 plywood under mattress, door screen as well as weather stripping falling out. alternate switch, awning seam; ripped aaand neon light FLEW out while we were Driving and now lights are partially burnt out! screws on the floor from?, paneling coming apart in corners of unity. Staple miss the beams and go....nowhere so not secure, back splash Falling off while we drove, kitchen table screws fell out (fixed but still wobbly,) fridge didn't lock and flew open, gaps everywhere in panelling, ALL the blind valences are off, door knobs eeeverything is off. Bathroom suround isn't put in place properly and doesn't stick at the top. Grey/ Black tank outside reversed. Ohhh lastly they say thermal packages for the cold, hmmmm this SUMMER and I feel air blowing through the 2"gaps on either side of the bed from the storage area (that must be how all the moths are getting in) If you buy one look closely! IF there are this many little things what about the major safety items? I'm not feeling real secure and at an asking price of 36k plus. Buy used hopefully someone has gone throu all the aches and pains and had it all fixed orrrr buy something else. This is only 3 months in :( totally regretting this purchase! read more

We went to travel land rv to get some parts for our fifth wheel, feel sorry for the people that have to deal with them on a regular basis. We had all the part number and even a picture of the part. The lady that was working the parts counter for the day must hate her job. Not only was she angry that we were there, she got even more upset when we wouldn't buy the wrong part from her. Once we showed her the picture and part numbers she still tried to sell us the wrong part. She told us if we didn't buy that part (wrong one) to get out of her store and go somewhere else. my wife and I are easy going happy people so this isn't the case of a "angry customer". I stopped in at Traveland RV yesterday with my dad to check out motor homes. My folks are in the market to buy a shaggin' wagon to tour around in once my mom retires. There's so much to look at here, omg. Like literally acres of vehicles. When we walked in the door the receptionist greeted us and asked what we were in the market for. My dad replied that he wasn't sure as it was the first lot we've been on, so he wanted to look around at a bunch of different makes and models. She was quite persistent and continued to ask what we wanted so she could direct us to a sales person. Haha dad stood his ground and said he just wanted to mosey. She finally gave in and said tui check back with her when we wanted to speak to someone. It was kind of nice after that because we weren't approached by anyone else for the rest of the time we were there. The vehicles inside are pretty cool, wide open, you can check around as you wish. Outside was like a vast oasis of vehicles and they were all open. I'm not to sure if we were supposed to our allowed to just go in any of them, but we did anyways. Haha. After about an hour we noticed the cleaning ladies following at a far distance behind us. Oh well. We didn't purchase anything here or engage with the sales or parts staff at all (weird enough people actually kind of avoided us when we were outside) so I can't speak towards that, but upon just browsing around I found it to be a real pleasing experience. read more

WOW....I'm thinking of getting into an RV and becoming a snowbird in the winter months when I retire in a few years. After reading these reviews, that might be the biggest mistakes I ever make. It seems the cost is high but the quality doesn't match. May have to reconsider my plans which is really too bad. I have been in over 50 RV dealerships and have never seen anyone invest this much money to take care of the customer and make the experience fun. I was in the parts department for a long time and was amazed at how easy it was to find pricing and how clean it was. The service people are very happy to help. The RV business is tough when it comes to service and almost no dealers are investing to help the RVers. These people are great to deal with. They seem to be smiling all the time. Before you purchase an RV understand that this is not a car. It is a house on wheels that will break and then few dealers that do service are to busy to help you if you bought from the dealer that has no service department or if you bought out of the area and picked it up. I am very appreciative of these guys working on the little Winnebago Era issues even though I was only passing through. Funny that I'd previously posted a review and received a response from Dale H with Traveland stating he would look into the issue further with our manufacturer, never did hear back. Not only did I not hear back from him, I did not hear back from Cam S., acknowledging any of the emails he was copied on or sent to him. This is our THIRD Jayco trailer since 2005, upgrading each time with one other brand in between. We went back to Traveland with hopes they'd cleaned up their act... their only redeeming qualities are Daryl in service and Jeff W service manager... Issue 1. Bought a new Jayco Eagle 5th... loved it! Didn't need to trade up but thought it would be perfect for our 3 week road trip to California to meet up with family. Booked everything, deposits paid. Trailer went in for some touch up work in March and came back to us with a burning smell in the basement storage. Residential fridge craps out... long and short of it, the inverter is fried. We go out for Easter weekend camping with no fridge but make the most of our first trip out. Return it to Traveland for repairs... including a new issue of a leak we discovered Easter Monday. They fix it, husband goes to pick up the unit, brings it home and I discover our ladder is missing and the skylight trim repairs not yet completed. Phone call to Traveland only to now find out that they backed our trailer into something damaging the ladder. "What? No one told you?" We informed them they were coming out to install a new one before we leave for August trip. No big deal until I found minimal damage to the body as well. Off we go for a quick May long camping trip and no issues... love my 5th! Finally July rolls around... super Daryl comes out and repairs our trailer ladder and skylight. Packing up for our trip, clothes, food ready to go. 3 weeks on the road. Flew out my mother in law to house/dog sit. Daughter flying in to meet us in Anaheim, family flying up from Mexico. Husband pulls away from the house to pick me up... fresh water tank 1/3 full falls out on the roadway next to our house! 3:30pm Friday of the long weekend! Jeff at Traveland tries but there is no trip with the RV. Plans changed, we are now hoteling it to California. Incurred loss of deposits, no coverage under insurance for trip interruption because we weren't 160km from home... Jayco's response "we stand by our product and did repairs under warranty" Travelands response ... crickets! Stand by the product all you want, forget about the customer buying that product. We were treasonable in our request, deducting for expenses we would have incurred during our trip... looking to buy, opt out of Jayco, carefully consider if spending $5000 plus for additional insurance is worth it, Traveland is questionable as a recommendation. Empty promises, they get your money and it ends there! 2 stars only for Jeff and Daryl. read more

We've recently purchased our 3rd Jayco RV from Traveland. We purchased our first in 2005 and over the years we upgraded, including buying one other trailer from another dealership. We traded in a great 2010 Outback travel trailer to a 2018 5th Wheel with a nicer kitchen than the one at home. Since picking it up in February, we've had it back to Traveland 3 times for warranty work and used it a grand total of 6 days. We had spent 7+ months planning a three week long road trip to California where we had family flying in to meet us for a week of fun. As my husband pulled away from the house, the fresh water tank fell out leaving him stuck on the roadway trying to figure out how at 3:30pm on the Friday of a long weekend in August, we were going to be able to continue with the trip. The bolts holding the frame in place completely sheered off causing damage to the undercarriage and wiring etc... Kudos to Jeff Weisgerber at Traveland for trying to make this right by sending someone out to look at what could be done. They cleaned it up and took the tank away. The trailer was back in our driveway and remained there - we were no longer going to be able to use it for this trip. Plan B was launched, reservations cancelled and deposits lost. While Traveland generally won't pick up trailers, 2 weeks after this happened and while we were away, they pick up the unit and had it ready for us for when we returned from the holiday. We stayed in hotels along the way and whenever possible secured the best and cheapest rate without staying in a fleabag motel. We deducted from the expense submission, what we would have paid staying at RV resorts from what we paid for hotels. We deducted from meal expenses what we would have and what we did pay for food. NOTE - review your warranty carefully! Extended warranties and other third party policies do NOT cover you for added expenses you incur in the event of an incident that is within 160KM of your residence. JAYCO RV does not provide any compensation to customers who have purchased their product when damages result in the trailer being un-usable. JAYCO's warranty provides NOTHING beyond the repair costs. Traveland - specifically Jeff gets high marks but as they sell Jayco, we cannot in any way shape or form, recommend Jayco as your first manufacturer of choice when shopping for a new or used RV. read more
