Upon returning we reviewed the condition of the trailer and I was told that I would receive my deposit refund. I called Triangle RV around the 27 and some young girl assured me the refund had been placed and that it takes a week or more for it to show up. Having been in business for 49 years I know how it works, and I sensed she was making an excuse and clearly did not know wether my credit card had been refunded. I called back yesterday and was told that the refund had not taken place because there was damage and the amount had not been determined. Clearly the employee I spoke to previously had lied. The lady I called November 3 rd said she would get back to me, and I have again not received any consideration for my concerns. I have put a dispute in with my credit card company. And will never do business with this company again. Although I am a potential purchaser, I would not do business with Triangle RV again.

Absolutely horrendous experience with a rental RV. In short, we rented an RV that had several…read moreproblems, the most significant being a fridge that couldn't be powered by propane and a water pump that broke on our first night. The first issue resulted in depleting the battery and then all our food spoiling, the second resulted in us losing a day of our 4-day trip (Strathcona park) in order to drive to Campbell River and take it to the local RV dealer (Campbell River RV, who were excellent and replaced the pump which they confirmed was broken because is was wired incorrectly) to get the pump fixed--on the recommendation of the Triangle RV service tech were spoke to on the phone. Upon return, we asked for reimbursement for the repair which we paid out of pocket, and some compensation for the numerous issues with the RV, losing 25% of our trip, and the extra gas to drive around to fix their problem. They refused both. I've never experienced such ridiculously awful customer service and ethics.

Apparently the local Uhaul owners can't or won't or likely aren't allowed to make any decisions. This basically negated our two way ferry booking as we couldn't make a new booking due to ferry loads. This also added $90 each way, almost doubling our ferry costs. Good old Nicholas Spears from somewhere up the Uhaul chain washed his hands of us saying we were told a couple days out. Not his problem. He said our kind of booking isn't a priority. On a previous booking the truck we had booked was available but at a location in another town. Would they cover the difference in mileage? Not a prayer. Fooled me twice. Somehow I'm embarrassed when it's Uhaul who should be. Don't you be fooled by the word 'reservation' when Uhaul uses it. I also had had the occasion to rent a van from them for a trip to the lower mainland and it was clean and ready to go for me when reserved. I would highly recommend the team at the Sidney location for their courtesy, customer service and ability to solve the customer's problems as if they were their own. I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond but thank you!!!

Then we dropped it off for maintenance and left it with them for as long as they needed it as we were away for a month. We left a list of things that needed some attention. One was the hot water heater- it only got Luke warm. When we returned after a month they hadn't done anything to it and the guy said they cycled it through twice and it worked. The note on the repair slip said we hadn't turned the switch on! We moved back into the unit and still couldn't get hot water. They came out to the RV site and still didn't fix it. We moved to the North Shore and TLC RV repair came over and replaced the temp cutoff switch and it works fine. Many other things also were not addressed and the comments on the repair slip were arrogant and condescending. Very disappointed in this organization. They lose the good people and the ones left don't seem to know what they are doing!

I was able to pick up the RV earlier than expected so I was very happy. When I arrived our name was on the board and they were ready for us. The 2019 vehicle was very clean and sanitized. After the RV check we were on our way. Everything worked great except for the cold water nozzle in the shower. Hot water only from the shower head. FYI the hot water heater is very efficient! The water can be very hot so be careful. No other issues. The fridge and freezer worked well. We were told to only open the doors when necessary as it can take a few hours to return to the ideal temp. We had a great first time experience. When we returning the RV the process was just as easy. I received an email that day of my receipt and refund of my deposit. I will rent again however I may try the larger vehicle that has a generator as where we were camping didn't have any hook ups.

I had a last minute RV cancellation on another service and I called NW Adventure Rentals searching…read morefor an RV I needed in less than 30 days and they pulled through for me! I couldn't easily find their address online or their website but I emailed them and received a response within a couple hours (located in Lynwood, WA). They provided the quote within minutes of a phone call I had with one of the RV owners for the 2016 Tiffin Allegro. The cost for the RV and the value of the RV was decently fair from it being 30 days out from needing it for a 3 night rental (4 days total). Although 40% of the cost were tax & fees (prep/basic protection/rental tax/sales tax). You are able to pay in two split payments with 1st being the deposit, and 2nd being 14 days away (might be different that I needed it in less than 30 days). The RV itself was awesome and very nice for 4 people and expanded in three areas (bedroom kitchen/living room). It included camping chairs, portable propane grill, dishes/utensils, pans/pots, toilet paper, paper towels, dish cloths, trash can/bags, and so much more - honestly loved that it came with so much that the cost was worth it. We didn't have to buy so many extra things at the store. We didn't use hookups at the gorge - but with the restrooms/showers/water they provide at the gorge we never ran out in the RV, it was good enough for 3 nights! Generator usage - we ran it for about a 2-4 hours a day. We did get charged for over gen usage which I was not aware they would but we were fine with the extra cost. NW does provide a "platinum package" for fuel/ cleaning/dumping/other items, they charge by square footage of the RV. You can also opt out from different services and only itemize what you couldn't do last minute. Any additional questions I had before and during renting it, they were able to answer quickly with a phone call/text which I loved! And such quick responses! Shout out to Julie who was on call and easy to text with! And Victor for going through the RV with us when we arr NW is also perfect for Gorge Amphitheatre rentals and they also provide a wide selection of RVs just for specific events at the Gorge. Overall experience as A+++++ loved everything and such a smooth experience!

To salvage our vacation we were lucky to find a company that came to our rescue. NW Adventures and could rent us a motorhome replacement last minute. They were quick to respond and Julie was a model of proficiency to help us on our way. We rented a 24FT Four Winds. It had everything we needed and a great layout. The entire staff was great, and no trick gotcha hidden fees in that fine print you don't catch. During our trip Julie was readily available for any questions we had while in the far north. While all components worked, this motorhome was built during Covid and it was clear quality and workmanship had taken a hit. Regardless, that's not anything to do with NW Adventures and they have quite a variety of equipment to choose from. I would rent from them again in an instant.
