Tedco RV has become my sole choice when anything goes awry with my motorhome…read more While I imagine I do not qualify as a "regular customer" at Tedco - because when these guys fix something, it stays fixed - but anyone who owns an RV for any length of time, knows there is almost always something that requires repair. So, I would argue, that I do qualify as a repeat customer...and there's good reason for that. My latest issue was electronic. It took the professionals at Tedco less than two hours to delve into the bowels of my Winnebago, diagnose the specific faulty circuitry, swap out a faulted solenoid and call me to pick up the unit. I continue to find the mechanics and technicians at Tedco to be knowledgeable and efficient. And unlike the virtually all the other guys, these people don't break the bank. Tedco RV is the reason, that after eight years of ownership, my unit is still on the road, and not sitting in my driveway or listed on an auto-trader web-site.

First we had problems with the side door not closing and locking properly so we tried to have the service department fix it. The so called mechanic came out and ended up making it worse than what it was bent door frame and scraped paint. Second issue it went in for a plastic cover to be replaced on the awning, they managed to end up loosing the other cover to the awning and that had to be replaced. When we bought the RV we also purchased a lifetime detail package where they would wax ( seal ) the coach part except the cab. Only the passenger side was waxed ( conveniently on the side where the awning is where you spend your time at ) as I've worked in bodyshops over the years, I know what to look for. They leave a mess in the shower after they have dewinterized it, not exactly the way you want to pick up your RV after paying the bill. Maybe our next RV sale will be with another dealer or sale it and spend our money elsewhere.

Still waiting for Dave to return the $500 he overcharged on a Generac home generator. It's been two…read moreyears. Dave is the principal owner of the business and recently got into the home generator business as a distributor and installer of Generac products. I signed off on an estimate / contract with him to install Generac's largest residential generator. Other than delivering the home generator unit and sub-contracting the gas and electrical hook-ups, I basically had to step in as the general contractor and work with the gas / electrical guys because he would not return phone calls to them or to me. In fact, I had to contact Generac directly to set the generator up and get the 10 year warranty he was supposed to secure for me as part of his estimate and contract. Even his own staff told me privately that he is over his head and not very good with customer support. I do not recommend Ocean West.

I ended up with new lower panels in both sides of my motorhome and a new roof. They went above and beyond with the quality of work and their very fair pricing. I never worried... I have a 34' motorhome that is stored approximately 2 blocks from this facility. I went to them to…read morehave a catalytic converter replaced because the original has been stolen. They were prepared to take on the job until they found out the unit was a 1999 and stated they don't work on m/homes that older than 2002 because parts are too hard to source. (Note: They have worked on this unit previously.) 2 frustrations: 1) They are a Ford dealership and this m/h is on a Ford chassis. 2) A catalytic converter is part of an exhaust system so, the age of the unit has no bearing on the required repairs. I now have to drive the unit to another city (approx. 10k) to get the necessary repairs done. I purchased my pickup truck at Dam's and am extremely disappointed with them and therefore will not be dealing with them in anyway in the future and would not recommend them to anyone else.

Went in for MVI, the tech failed my truck because they said my brakes were over heated in the rear…read moreand the pads were cracking. Nit picked two other things that would never fail anywhere else either. Picked up my truck took it to another shop, they simply pointed out they the hub cap, lug nuts and tires had never even been removed ever. The truck is 1 year old and had 22,000 on it. The hub caps were dirty and had no rub marks from being handled or finger prints nor were there any pry marks from being removed. The lugs had no marks from any impact tool from being removed or tightened. Still new from the factory. They figured I would fall for the old Ford brake scam. Charged me for other items I didn't ask to have done and cost me money, got nothing out of it other than a headache. Scammers!
