We were impressed with the personable service and effort put forward by everyone at Fraserway during our trailer purchase. After some negative experiences elsewhere we really appreciated the casual approach. The kids loved riding in the golf kart. Fraserway really went the extra mile from start to finish. Some of the things that stood out were helping test and configure our trailer break, guiding us through initial items that we should purchase and the pressure-less sales experience.

We left our new 5th wheel at FraserWay RV for warranty work. Cleaned it completely inside & out before dropping it off. When we picked it up (21/2 weeks later) there was mousing droppings and urine throughout the unit. They wouldn't take any responsibility for it. The rep told us their manager said it was our issue as no one else had claimed of mice (we are aware of at least one other family who had the same issue). Not only did they decline responsibility, when we asked to speak to the service manager we were told that they don't speak to the client. They make the decision & have the service rep take the heat. Phoned the service manager directly - they were away from their desk. When I left a message, they had the service rep phone back again. Oh, and one of the parts, they had ordered in, they couldn't find on sight. Was missing the screen door slider. The tech left it sitting on the floor beside the door. When I went to install it at home - wrong part; didn't fit. Poor, poor service & management.

Fraserway RV is a giant in the Canadian RV world. They are very big so my review is split into different departments -- in 2015-2016 I rented, purchased, financed, and serviced RVs with Fraserway. I hope this review helps others! Rentals (Delta): 4 out of 5 stars Awesome rental fleet and service. Only 4 not 5 stars because it is VERY expensive to rent if you are a local from Canada. A lot of business here comes from Europe so they are busy every year from EU and USA customers who will pay $$ Pro tip is to rent during March and get a spring 30 day deal and then drive south to the sun! Best value seems to be small/mid size C class (26ft) if two people. When we had an issue on the road (lock broke on side door) Fraserway/Bernie had it paid and fixed for us in California. Take your time and get to know your RV and your trip will be awesome! Bernie is a superstar in the rental department -- if you can deal with Bernie you'll be good to go! Sales (Abbotsford): 5 out of 5 stars This is where Fraserway truly excels in my opinion. They have a HUGE fleet of rigs, ranging from low to high costs / small to big units, and a constant flow of new inventory. I dealt with Tyler, who is no longer there, but everyone was excellent including the sales manager. I was able to view many different units, shop without high pressure sales, change my mind multiple times, negotiate a better deal, test drive and get units independently inspected BEFORE purchase. I was also able to provide a list of must-fixes, even after a brief shakedown weekend, during the purchase process which they quickly repaired (within days) as requested. They also cleaned the unit to perfection (thanks to the girls/team that does this tough job) for pickup. When you pickup your rig, ask for Steve (Minion is his nickname) and you'll meet one of Fraserway's best team members who will patiently -- with a friendly smile, Steve will guide you through all aspects of your new RV until you are happy (no matter 'your comfort level') and ready to drive off the lot! He's a champ and someone we always now make a point of saying hi to when we are at Fraserway RV. Way to go Steve!!! Finance (Abbotsford): 4 out of 5 stars They worked hard to get us the finance deal we wanted and also worked through solutions to complex money transfers for down payment. Friendly, professional and working for the customer's purchase goals. Service (Abbotsford): 1 out of 5 stars Only reason this isn't 0 star is because of the nice lady (Talia?) at the counter who helped me last weekend. She was awesome and did her very best is a tough situation that was out of her control. The Fraserway service center, similar (but this is no excuse) to many HUGE RV service centers, is broken and needs to be fixed. Apparently they have a new service manager but at this stage it doesn't seem to be helping. Here's what happened: I booked a 10am appointment 2-3 months in advance. I drive from downtown Vancouver (1hr drive), and take a day off work, to bring my rig in for service only to be asked if 2-3 weeks is ok to compete the items requested 2 months ago. Honestly, the list I had is a one day job and simple items including a new faucet (part in stock), dewinterize, and annual some checks/lubrications. I wouldn't even mind waiting a few days to get it done (not 2-3 weeks!). The PROBLEM is that they are so behind on service that they want you to drop your RV and may not even be able to look at it for a couple weeks -- so, just to confirm, my RV is sup posed to sit on their lot for a couple weeks just waiting to be looked at!? I cannot recommend a service company that operates like this. They have huge facilities, more bays for RVs than you can imagine (20+?), but it seems the problem is that they don't have the mechanics. What I heard was: - they are 10+ days behind on appointments vs. getting to start of service - they only have one tech on Saturday (if you are that far behind, why not have 10 techs on a Saturday? Why would you accept my service reservation/appointment 2 months in advance, allow me to drive in, and then tell me my RV will sit here for 2 weeks before anyone can even look at it? The nice people at the counter were excellent, and I could tell they are challenged by the ongoing situation there, and are not to blame in this. Service manager: Get your department together. Quickly. Stop wasting the customers time and deal with your issues up front and take charge. Either hire more mechanics or DO NOT take new appointments! My only solution was to cut my loses, leave, and take my RV elsewhere where I can make an appointment that is an actual appointment. At the end I paid 1 hour labor ($170+ !!!) to dewinterize my RV. I paid and left... Parts/shop (Abbotsford): 3 out of 5 stars Fun shop. Good selection of items. Friendly people. 3 out of 5 stars because store is OK and prices are not very competitive / rather high compared to what I can fi

Really, really bad sales experience. No communication, then false communication. Received better communication from a third party.

Fortunately Dean an experienced techie was nearby having just helped another customer (who was attended to in 5 minutes). He referred to the wall as a hanging skin and this model has had this issue many times. Asked about a cost of repair he said 20 hours at $185/hour! So to repair what was clearly a defect, big bucks! And not covered by my 3 year expensive maintenance insurance. Lesson: Don't buy Venture Sonic and stay clear of Woody's service department.

The salesman sold us on it, told us it would be built for us as soon as they received our deposit. The finance lady took our deposit and told us the trailer would be ready in 6-8 weeks. We waited the 8 weeks and didn't hear from them at all. When we called our salesman, he didn't know when the trailer might be delivered. We went in to talk to the manager, Chase. He explained that the factory had not even started the build yet, but that as soon as it started up ours would be the first to be built. We were understandably upset, having just waited 8 weeks and now being told it wasn't even started yet. His response was to get angry at us and say "I don't have to sell you this trailer." That was his solution. He made no attempt to placate us or try to save the deal. However, because we live in our RV full time, and had already made arrangements to sell our current trailer, we needed to save the deal, so we ended up placating Chase and he finally agreed to continue with the sale and to comp the installation of the washer/dryer if we purchased the machines. He gave us a completion date of Nov 26, with one week to transport from the factory to the dealership and one week to do the PDI. By December 11 we still had not heard from the dealership. I called Chase to find out what was going on. He said it was being transported, it had left the factory over a week before, but he had no idea where it was. When I questioned how that was possible, he made a snarky comment about not having Apple airtags in the drivers and said again that he "didn't have to sell us this trailer". After two days of contemplating his attitude and poor customer service, we decided to take our business elsewhere. When I called to tell Chase he was correct, he did not have to sell to us, and moreover, we didn't have to buy from him, his response was "Good, because the trailer just showed up today and the front windows are broken, so your not going to be happy about that either." I called head office in Calgary to complain about his treatment of us and found out he is the owners son. And no one ever bothered to call me back. We bought our new trailer from Western RV and had an amazing experience.

What i wasn't expecting was to come across a service department and manager completely unwilling to repair the lemon they sold me. My camper left the lot with likely unknown, but certainly undisclosed issues prior to being signed over to me which should have been rectified immediately. Instead, I was told over and over it was my problem and my expense. In order to bring the unit to the quality represented in the sale, I must fork out what could be quite a few thousand dollars in deducing the source of all the issues and repairing improperly installed components. That is not acceptable because I would not have entered into this agreement had i been aware of these issues or had i known that the dealership would not honour the contract of selling a unit in perfect condition. The stress of BCRV's blame game is too much and if your experience is like mine, they will tell you to pay to fix your brand new unit yourself because warranty which covers bumper to bumper top to bottom for the first year is useless. Future customers, it is really important to buy from a dealership that will honour your contract and make an effort to make good. This has been the worst experience purchasing I have had to date and I can tell you from experience, this is rare. Other dealerships for the most part will bend over backwards to rectify faults that slipped through the cracks.

The parts to repair my trailer came in wrong the first time so they contacted me to keep ny trailer til the right parts came in. It took a few nonths but eventually they finished. I could not pick up the trailer for a few weeks after it was completed due to medical issues, but it was already in the yard for a few months waiting for them to repair it so they agreed ti keep it til I coupd get in to get it. I picked up the trailer and when I finally opened it up to look through it and prepare for a trip I was shocked to find mice had torn into seal bags of rice and flour in the pantry. I then noticed my carpets were full of mouse poo and smelt of urine like months of mice traveling through leaving a disaster that left my trailer smelling like a Hampster cage. I called and was told it was my fault for leaving it there the extra couple weeks because the months they had it wouldn't be the issue, no it was the extra couple weeks it took me to get the trailer after they finally finished the job. I was then asked if I had ICBC, I just paid them a 500 deductable. I was then told well don't leave food in your trailer open for mice, to which I responded the bags were completely sealed and chewed through which i have pictures of. Everything in the trailer has always been in my trailer and never were mice ever an issue and the team of proffessionals who tested and cleaned my trailer just before I dropped it off can confirm this. I will update this review after I speak to the owner. I was told he would not take responsibility for the damage by his staff today which is shocking. BBB has also been contacted and will be updated as well. I did not expose my trailer to mice their yard did. I did take a few weeks after the job was completed but the trailer was still there because they told me they were keeping it to order the parts. The work they did was great and they helped me by holding it a couple extra weeks. But I signed off on it and paid them the deductable to make sure they got paid asap because the parts took so long I did not want them to wait any longer for their work. But now they are blaming me for the mice that happened in their yard. I'm dissapointed with them to say the least but lets hope they make things right and turn this review into a better one. They do descent work but they need to do something a out the rodent problem. And when rodents infest a trailer in their care they need to be responsible for cleaning it as feces and rodent urine is toxic and I just had the trailer cleaned top to bottom I want it back clean not a health hazard.
