It was about a 20 minute ride from the central part of the city and nice to take the ride and be outside of city limits and the quietness of the neighborhood. They were all off the charts amazing and well worth it. I got a crazy idea to bring home the pastas because there was so much left over and it was so nice to eat them the next day where we got home! I loved that it was all local people from the neighborhood eating there. Definitely recommend and will be back again!

Quite a heavy meal, but we also ordered a salad to balance it out, as well as a cheese and meat platter. I really enjoyed the intestines because I've only ever had them with Chinese flavors, so it was definitely a new experience. The cheeses were super unique and paired super well with the salami. Overall, a really great meal and worth checking out! Atmosphere 9/10 In a very local area, I loved the wooden interior, the small details on the walls really completed the space. So much history on the walls, and the lighting was perfect for a casual and homey meal. I felt transported when I went inside, there was plenty of space between each table, and I'm obsessed with the linen cloths and textures of the restaurant. Service 9/10 Very attentive, made sure to answer all of our questions about the menu, and super helpful overall :)

We sat at a table outside on the road, which was the ideal setting once the sun set and the evening temperature cooled down. Our server was exceptionally kind and truly elevated the experience, recommending fantastic local wines and pointing us toward his favorite appetizers to kick off the night. The Carbonara was easily my favorite rendition of it in all of Europe. The pork cheek was rendered to perfection; deeply savory, packed with rich flavor, and crisp around the edges, while the egg and cheese created a velvety sauce that coated the rigatoni. The braised beef was equally impressive, slow-cooked in red wine until it was melt-in-your-mouth tender and falling apart at the touch. Paired with perfectly seasoned potatoes, it was an incredible final dinner in Rome.

I chose the pappardelle with ragu, which was delicious! The pasta was fresh and al dente, and the sauce was well seasoned with plenty of meat. I tried a bit of the carbonara and cacio e pepe as well which I thought were also pretty good. The suckling pig was tender but not too flavorful.
