Beware this tourist trap! The restaurant looked nice enough from the outside and we were tired and just wanted to eat at the closest place. We will never make that mistake again!
The first thing that should have tipped us off was the American country music playing loudly inside. Secondly, the bread they brought out for us was hard and stale.
Our waiter was nice enough, but he really pushed the scallop appetizer on us without telling us how much it was. (20 euros! for four pieces!) Our mistake was believing him and ordering it. The food had absolutely no taste. The calamari tasted like they had come out of a bag and hadn't even been reheated; the tortellini con panna e prosciutto was bad and over-salted; and the fettuccine al'astice (lobster fettuccine) was brought out with spaghetti, not fettuccine, drenched in what tasted like canned tomato sauce and half of a decent lobster.
Even the pizza was HORRIBLE, and tasted like cardboard with a sprinkling of cheese. How do you mess up pizza in italy??
Overall, not worth it for the price. Not at all. read more
