This used to be one of our go to's. Last night we had reservations and were seated at a table so close to the waiter's station we could barely carry on a conversation and there were only 3 of us. It was really uncomfortable and I was shocked the table was placed there. The food is good but so not worth it anymore from the consistently rude greeting we'd always put up with from the hostess to the noisy and crowded dining room. Dinner for the first time tonight at "632". We had reservations gor 6:00 and were seated promptly. For a Monday evening it was extremley busy. Most of the tables in the dining room where we were seated were occupied. The acoustics were not very good as the noise level was somewhat annoying. We decided to start with the eggplant rollatine as an appetizer. When the dish arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the "rolls" were a nice size and looked forward to start. The sauce on the plate almost gave a "vodka sauce" look, rather than a "marinara" look, we commenced and both decided that the sauce had an unusual taste and wondered what addition to it had made it taste nearly what we expected or have been used to. I finished my half, however my lady would not continue. She mentioned it to the manager and he apologized and removed it from our bill total. No wyestions asked. We both had the chicken scarpariello and both enjoyed it. It was just the right spice and the sauce was excellent for the finishing "dip".. Stopped here for dinner the other night had excellent service, beautiful ambience and a very good meal. We ordered two of their 632 salads, could've been a little larger, and the chicken was slightly dry but the taste was good. The artichoke pizzette was delicious. We haven't gotten tired of our usual fills in our area. But felt like broadening our horizons a little, travel less than 11 minutes from home and head for dinner- to add something different to our Friday evening. Just be cognizant, there are two entrances (don't recall which one is Entrance or Exit) to head to their parking lot in the back. That's actually why we came here in the first place. This is NOT the place to skip the complimentary Bread basket: it was rustic, crunchy and light as air. My Lemon Drop (with Brown Sugar rim) got me at first sip. I was nowhere near 1/2 way and that sucker took me somewhere else! While hubby also enjoyed a glass of Red and a Jack neat. Started with Arugula & Artichoke Salad. Fresh Mozzarella on my Margherita Pizzette was good. While hubby ordered 1/2 Roasted Chicken with a side of Quinoa. The owner definitely has 632's style down to a science because it has all the charm right here in Purchase. The setting is intimate but it can be chill or can be a super fun night. When it came to the service, our man James was so freaking attentive- Gracias! It's the subtle touches we noticed during our Friday evening, quick bite- like the quiet refills from the busboys, or James- ever so softly asking if everything was ok. Last night, November 15, 2024, my party of 3 (my daughter, my friend and myself) were treated with rudeness, gender discrimination, very slow service and argumentative responses from whom I suppose was the manager . Though we had a reservation, with an entire empty dining room downstairs, we were shuttled up to the second floor dining room and seated with ALL OTHER WOMEN ONLY PARTIES. Not a single man in sight upstairs. We should 't have accepted the upstairs room but we did. Our drinks were half an hour late, dinner was not hot when served and we were practically thrown out at 7, told there was a party in that room coming up . As waiters pulled tablecloths up before diners had even stood up, I commented that I had never been treated so rudely in my life and other women also chimed in with the same complaint. The answer we got was that we were told we would have to leave at 7 (not true) and also not true for any of the other diners in the room. I believe only women diners were seated upstairs because the staff felt they could bully us. They Would never do this to a man! I have been a constant customer, with my daughter and I having lunch or dinner at Trattoria 632 at least twice a month or more. We will never return to Trattoria again. I will sure tell everyone I know about the rude and discriminatory behavior we experienced at the hands of the restaurant management and staff. read more

I was there tonight on an invitation for a customer appreciation private event. It was an invitation to me especially since I have never eaten there before. First let me say that the young owner was very nice and a joy to meet. The other things unfortunately- aren't that great. The security guards/ so called unprofessional waiters, literally threw us out after an hour- They wouldn't let us get the salad that came out just minutes before. The food is pretty tasteless but it was a very nice thing for this place to put on a free night for their valued customers. Based on what I tasted I wouldn't go back and certainly the help shouldn't be near customers but the owner was a nice guy! The bartender is an outstanding mixologist who is super friendly & fun which makes it easy to hang or eat at the bar. We have been fans of this restaurant for a while, particularly the service. Which is what made yesterday's experience so disappointing. When the hostess couldn't find our name in her book, I gave her the name of the person who gave us the reservation with the date and our request for a table with our favorite waiter. She said "That was me, but I have your name as Wendy." She apologized, but we suffered the consequences. A half hour wait followed, in which we were forced to stand (I have a bad back which had just gone out) in a packed crowd next to the bar (fortunately with our masks). We were offered a drink while being forced to stand at the bar. That would have meant removing our masks, so we declined. We were ultimately seated at one of the worst tables in the house without our favorite waiter. The food was good as usual. But one small gesture of a free dessert or drink (at our table) from the hostess or manager would have made all the difference in the world. read more

I have been a long-time customer of Trattoria 632 and have previously given it a 5 Star review. However last night was the worst. I called ahead for a reservation for a Birthday celebration for a party of three on a Sunday night. When we arrived at the restaurant and were seated, we were presented with the specials of which only two were decipherable. Why not just print them and the details on a separate sheet? The first item we ordered was their signature appetizer Calamari Arribiatta. We love this dish and have highly recommended it to family and friends. To our surprise, the recipe was completely changed and the portion size was about half of what it had been. I explained this to the waiter and he informed me that nothing had changed and loudly discussed it with other waiters who were sitting around. The dish had absolutely no spice to it and the sauce looked like yellow egg yokes, rather than the rich red color and flavor we knew from the past. Also, not even an attempt to bring some bread over to the table, anytime during the meal. The main courses were fairly good. My Bolongaisse was served warm and the ricotta cheese was very cold. We were also somewhat rushed through dinner, almost as if the staff wanted to leave. Also, no dessert was even bought out, when I had mentioned a special birthday with my phone reservation. I tipped the waiter just under 20% and left without even a thank you or goodnight from staff members. I was also charged full price for the appetizer! Great food and a wonderful team. The menu is very diverse and offers so many options it's hard to choose. Two of us had scallops, one the melon salad with salmon on top and one bolognese. All delicious. And it was tough to choose a dessert. We selected the zepelli and a pistachio tartuffo. I also cannot say enough about the excellent service and support we got during the meal and after. . A huge thank you for to everyone at Trattoria 632 for the care and concern they showed at the end of our meal when my husband experienced a medical emergency -- not related to any thing he ate. They immediately called an ambulance and were helpful to the EMTs and to our family as we tried to provide all the necessary information and evacuate the premises. I compliment them on their emergency training and preparedness. We live out of state but plan to return next year to enjoy an outstanding meal and to offer our thanks once again in person. read more

Every single time we order takeout or delivery, without fail, at least 1 or more items are missing. When food is finally redelivered (1.5 hours later) it is cold, Soggy and gross. Seems they just want to push out orders and don't really care about the quality of the food and making sure that nothing is missing . $36 for a strip steak with mushrooms and homemade fries except there were no fries And maybe 4 mushrooms. They leave out items that go with certain dishes and don't seem to care. They ignore specific instructions and they don't seem to care . They have screwed up my order three times now and I personally went without a meal. I have complained two previous times and nobody seemed to care, because it happened again last night and Now we are done. Where I come from if you mess up somebody's order, you fix it, send over dessert or comp them and none of that happened. There aren't a ton of places in Westchester that offer dairy free cheese for pizzas. Trattoria is a traditional Italian restaurant/bar with a small selection of (off menu) plant based and vegan friendly options, just ask the server. You can use dairy free cheese on any of the pizzas, we just ended up just picking out our own toppings. The crust was really nice and the size was enough to feed two of us. We also got the vegan meatballs, which come over spaghetti squash to share. I personally wasn't a fan of the texture but the flavor was good. They didn't have the vegan stuffed peppers when we came, hopefully they add these options to the main menu in the future. We will definitely come back for the pizza again! Tonight me and my family, 15 people, went out to eat to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday with a nice dinner and it did not turn out to be a nice experience. First I noticed when we ordered two calamari appetizers they were the smallest portions I had ever seen in my life. Then upon getting our entrees they brought out everyone's food scattered and my brother in laws food and mine a while later. Then about 45 mins later without even asking us how the food is for a while I still didn't get my entree. Finally it came out and it was split. Then my mother had gotten a filet mignon dish and it was dry and I asked them for the garlic and herb butter that they claimed was cooked onto it to her steak but when I asked the waiter to give her some on the side he completely ignored me and had some manager or higher person come over to address it and he even just tried to justify the carelessness of the place. The most disrespectful and unprofessional place that I have been to in a while. It's a shame because little do they know I am a five star chef at a yacht club and on top of everything they forgot my meal. Would never recommend this place to anyone and I would never return.
