The new dryer would not turn on because the power was off due to an issue with the previous dryer, which had burned out. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the delivery person repeatedly pressed the buttons and spoke to me in an aggressive, scolding manner, saying that he was not an electrician and questioning why the power was off. He also continued talking to himself in Spanish, which made the entire experience even more uncomfortable. He instructed me to run the dryer for 20 minutes, which I did. However, when I used it for the first time, the laundry room filled with moisture and steam. I discovered that the dryer vent had not been properly connected. As a result, I had to hire a separate handyman to come out and reconnect the vent. This was an extremely disappointing experience, from the disregard for the scheduled delivery window to the unprofessional behavior and improper installation.
