They don't force you to book vehicles for a certain amount of hours when you need just a to and from transport. I booked our driver and a 6-seater Escalade for evening via Yelp so my friends and I could enjoy the party without needing to worry about getting home safely or needing to arrange multiple rides via Lyft/Uber. The booking was on very short notice and the coordinator, Priscilla, was very helpful in braking down their rates and vehicle inventory. Thanks Priscilla! Ray, our driver, was a consummate professional. Great service, pleasant to talk to, and did a fantastic job shuttling us around San Francisco on a Saturday night. I can only imagine the hoops he had to jump through to park that monster of a car while my friends and I were enjoying our night on the town. Ray drove us all around the city and the east bay over the course of our evening. He did well dealing with late night traffic and city driving; the ride was smooth and we didn't have any close calls or scares that I sometimes get with the odd rideshare driver. What I paid for the excellent service was actually a bit less than I was expecting. The terms of the booking stipulated extra fees for drop-offs or stops outside of the pickup/dropoff location. Given we had been all around San Francisco and traveled through the east bay to drop off one of our party, I was pleasantly surprised to see that one stop was waived from the final bill. We were able to schedule pickup from our friend's house, transportation to our event, and a return pickup and drop-off afterward without any issues. Our driver, Leland, provided 10/10 service. He made sure we had the best experience from the moment we got on the bus by setting up the Bluetooth before we left and making sure the cooler was stocked with ice. He even picked us up a little earlier than scheduled since our event ended ahead of time. Most importantly, he got us to and from our destination safely while making the ride fun and enjoyable. I said we live 2 hours from the airport and that at that time of night we say no one not even a taxi! We had a contract for a ride and and that someone needed to get us home. He then told me that the driver had fallen asleep and nothing could be done. Just to add to the story my husband is 79 and I am 72 and we had just come off of a 5 hr flight . Since they had decided to abandon us at the airport we decided to find a hotel and I told them that I expected them to pay for it. Not until the next day did anyone even told us they were sorry. They finally came the next day! I would never use this service ever again. The person that gave me the recommendation was mortified and also would never use the again. Kris had given us a 10% discount for the return ride but because of that he didn't even pay the full hotel bill. No one should ever use them if the ride is important!
