This was my first time using this company for pick up and drop off to the Oakland airport. I called in advance to schedule our pick up. We needed to be picked up early in the morning (5 am) and were traveling with three children (two under the age of 3). The day prior to our pick up I was expecting some type of confirmation since I had scheduled in advance. I did not receive any confirmation, so I called to confirm pick up. Not sure if this is standard but I would have appreciated a confirmation call. Pick up went smoothly. The owner, Hashim, arrived promptly and assisted us loading and unloading our luggage. The return pick up was more the issue. Upon pick up Hashim advised me to call him the day we were to return to schedule our pick up. I contacted Hashim the morning our of our return flight and was informed to call him when our plane landed. I contacted Hashim and informed him our flight would be arriving 20 mins earlier than expected. He advised he was aware of the early arrival and to call him when we were outside. I called Hashim when we were picking up our luggage and told me the drive would be there to pick us up in 5 minutes. I expected the driver to be waiting for us because I saw other drivers waiting for their customers inside the airport, but that was not the case. Once outside, my husband had to flag down our driver because the driver did not know who he was looking for. The driver pulled to the curb and attempted to assist us with our luggage. He had difficulty loading it into the vehicle (it was a tight squeeze), so my husband loaded it for him. We arrived at our destination and informed the driver we would be loading our baggage into our vehicle and driving home. While my husband and older son unloaded our luggage, I unloaded my younger kids, their car seats and the luggage that had to be placed in the passenger area of the vehicle. While all of this was happening, the driver sat in the drivers seat of the vehicle worrying about collecting payment! He didn't offer to help me unload the car seats or help unload/load our luggage into our vehicle. Maybe I have it wrong here, but isn't part of the driver's job to help unload the luggage. I didn't expect him to know how to operate my car seats, but he could have asked if I needed help. It was late, we were all tired and hungry, and I was pissed. Why am I tipping someone who sat on his butt while we loaded and unloaded our luggage? I was not impressed with Eagle Town Car and will use someone else next time I need assistance to/from the airport. read more

My pickups were early in the morning (4am) and there was always a driver at my front door waiting for me. Hashim has driven most of my family for various events and they all could not stop talking about how great the service was. If you drive with a car service long enough, you really start to build relationships during the trips and get to know your driver (if YOU want to talk to them). I can't say enough good things about this service. The cars are immaculate and clean. I swear Hashim cleans them every night! There is always water in the back seat and plenty of legroom. I remember one time my phone died in the car and I didn't have a cigarette lighter adapter to charge it and Hashim let me borrow his during the drive home. So kind. I found the pricing to be very reasonable for the service he offers in the bay area. Better pricing than Black Tie and other competitive car services out there.
