He never wastes our time and gets right to the point telling us what is wrong (without adding 10 other things that "need fixing while we are in the shop"). During this time this is what work was completed. Brakes-power steering-oil changes- transmission. Unfortunately we did not see the pattern of poor workmanship prior to the transmission. We have found ourselves returning for all work that has been completed on this vehicle, even simple as brakes. After spending approximately 8-9 thousand dollars for the transmission, we have had nothing but problems since we had it rebuilt 9 months ago! We have continually take it back for issues and on October 1, 2020, Tom has refused to take any responsibility of work on the transmission and has refused to complete any repairs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TRUST DIESEL CONNECTION. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTY.

Nevada and Bernie have been nothing but excellent. These guys tell it like it is, they are genuine, friendly, honest and offer excellent pricing....no bull here.... Nevada even tells me on occasion how to fix something on my own to save me some money! These guys have repaired the 4 wheel drive switch, dually pinion seal, AC and steering box on our recently sold 1999 F-350, to God knows what was happening to my cranky 2005 Nissan Frontier every 3 months through to the brakes, alternator and O2 sensor in our Honda Pilot. I ended up taking it to LP vs my regular mechanics because they were near where the vehicle was, and on the recommendation of one of the trans shops I had talked to. Fun Fact: If you're replacing vs fixing, which seems to be most of what goes on nowadays, there's no reason to use a transmission specialty shop. Their rates are always higher than regular mechanics, and most regular shops can swap them fine... They just don't like actually tearing them apart and fixing them. So save yourself some money and just use your regular guy, or a shop like LP I ended up finding my own used transmission because getting a remanufactured one just didn't make sense money wise with the mileage on my rig. They were patient while I secured that and weren't trying to rush me. The guys there were cool and easy to deal with. They did the swap just fine and got my vehicle going again! They also took care of some other odds and ends I already knew about, and found out one issue I thought was one thing was actually 2 worn parts contributing to the same issue. Shop rates are reasonable compared to other places, and they did good work. I don't live near them, but would definitely take a rig back there if I ever needed to.
