I've been to this shop a few times the past few years. Always was a great experience until this last time. Definitely not as welcoming and friendly. Then this... received the text from them about recommended service items. There were many so I decided not to have any done so I could check them out before doing anything. Text stated brown/ muddy brake fluid and recommended a flush. My picture certainly doesn't show brown/muddy. Also stated metal in the power steering fluid so ran a sample through a coffee filter and no metal there. Long story short after a phone call and going down there for the manager to a look at it he still feels his mechanic was in the right and felt the fluid was definitely dirty. Did say that brown/muddy "may" have been a little much. Bad taste in my mouth over actions and words used. Not going back and not recommending them anymore. So sad because finding a place to trust anymore is tough. Thought I found it. read more

We took our 1996 F350 truck to AutoCraft for a small exhaust leak/oil change on May 17th. Tuesday May 23rd, we got a call from Monica at AutoCraft to let us know that on Friday the 19th a technician had the truck on the lift, but didn't properly secure it and the truck rolled off. He opened the door to try and stop the truck, causing the drivers side door to be destroyed. Monica told us they'd send our truck to Washington Auto Collision to fix the door. Their repair cost was $4,700. After three weeks, sharing one car and never hearing back from Autocraft I called and insisted on a loaner vehicle. Monica assured me they were on it and promised she'd stay in regular contact with me and apologized for not updating us. I called again, was told Washington Auto Collision couldn't get to the door repair for an additional month. They had a cancellation and scheduled our repair for June 26th. While waiting for our appointment with Washington Auto Collusion we requested that AutoCraft complete the repair that we originally scheduled, but Monica informed us told that they couldn't find the part necessary for the scheduled repair. Basically, we scheduled an appointment and took our truck to AutoCraft for repairs that they absolutely couldn't do because the part was nowhere to be found and they destroyed our door in the process. I even had to call Washington Auto Collision direct to get the status updates that should have come from AutoCraft. The last call to AutoCraft to check the status of our truck we requested that AutoCraft at least complete the oil change that we scheduled in May. Finally today, August 2nd we were able to pick up our truck. Functionally the door will never quite be the same, aesthetically the door looks fine. 77 days total without our truck, very poor customer service with little communication from Monica or the owner from AutoCraft and to top it all off they still charged me for the oil change and tried to charge me $125 for diagnostics which I refused to pay. The damaged door wasn't even the real issue. Accidents happen and we are glad nobody was hurt. It was their complete lack of response, and lack of empathy. I will never use AutoCraft again. Wish I could give zero stars. What a terrible experience!!!!! read more

Terrible shop! Battery had issues immediately after they did the install. My check engine light came on 5 minutes after leaving and they didn't want to help me. My dadh board also went all black after they changed my hybrid battery and I called in and they just told me to use my warranty somewhere else. Now my car wont even turn in because they did a terrible job in the install and the wire and battery is loose in the back. Will not recommend this shop to anyone! read more

My car required a full rear brake job 8 months ago. Unfortunately a newly installed part failed, requiring a new complete brake job. Work was done under the shop's warranty policy without a hassle. I have used them for several years for maintenance and repairs and will continue to do so. read more

This place treated me with such great customer service and respect, I absolutely have to leave a rave review! My car has 275k+ miles so I know a thing or two about auto repair places. If my car breaks down again I really hope it's near Auto Craft! Chuck was so unbelievably nice, he kept me updated throughout the repair on the status of my car and did a lot of testing on it to make sure I would get home safe and sound. Which it did! They let me know about other things they noticed might need to be replaced soon, which I really appreciate since I commute a lot and don't like finding out when I'm broke down on the side of the freeway! My boyfriend has also been into AutoCraft when his window broke a month or two ago. They remembered his name and his truck down to the make and model because they really do care about their customers! They also gave me a ride back to my house while they were fixing my car. Overall, I highly recommend these guys. Their pricing is very reasonable, they are fast and will get you back on the road making sure you are safe. I found a used Prius that I wanted to purchase and after some research AutoCraft kept showing up as the place to go to have Hybrid's checked over / serviced (they even have a loaner Prius). They did a thorough inspection and confirmed everything was in great condition (they even have several specialized tools to validate strength of the battery). They made it a much easier decision to purchase the car and also provided great customer service :-) read more

My car broke down so i called autocraft. I was given a different quote over the phone and they kept calling me back twice to add more fees. Finally my car was fixed I picked it up 10 miles of driving the engine light goes back on. Eventually the light went away but less than 1000 miles later my car is completely broken down for the same problem they fixed. Very upseting and time and money wasted. read more

These guys are top notch! The service is superb, communication is excellent, and the prices are more than reasonable. Honestly, I'm my 24 years of driving and extensive experience with pricey auto repair services, I've not found a better outfit. For the same price that a Spokane Subaru dealer quoted me on simply fixing some leaky engine seals, Autocraft repaired my engine, replaced 2 brake rotors, and did my entire 90,000-mile service. On top of that, Autocraft did the work in half the time, with friendly service, and outspoken gratitude for my business. Sure as hell beats the going-through-the-motion defensive posture of my local dealer. I'll be returning to Autocraft indefinitely for my vehicles. I can count on my thumbs the times I've driven away from an auto repair shop and been so impressed with the work done, the honesty and the customer service Herb listened to my concerns, didn't try to upsell me things, didn't treat me like an idiot, didn't try to talk me into things I didn't need. The guys there are very friendly and nice. The place is very clean for an auto repair shop too. I only give 4 stars because there diagnosis fee is rather high. I paid $161 to diagnose my problem. I did like the fact they fully answered my questions and let me know none of the issues with my car was life or death. Gave me an estimate and fully explained my issues. Even helped my buddy with his problem with his truck.i do recommend this shop 100%. I'm glad to have a good mechanic shop in my arsenal now. I guess it's also normal now not to roll the diagnosis fee into the repair cost too. It's been awhile since Ive needed a repair. When I my check engine light came on I brought it in to AutoCraft for a diagnostic. Afterwards, Chuck went over everything with me and made everything super easy to understand, breaking down the priority of every concern that needed to be checked or resolved. I really appreciated the honesty when he told me most of it was minor maintenance stuff and some of it could be put off. The next day I took care of the minor stuff myself and scheduled an appointment with them to take care of the things out of my realm of expertise. I only researched and compared a few of their price estimates but I think the quotes they gave me were pretty fair. One thing for sure is that their customer service is outstanding.
