Chuck was so unbelievably nice, he kept me updated throughout the repair on the status of my car and did a lot of testing on it to make sure I would get home safe and sound.

It only happened after I got a oil change through them so I'm not sure what they did to it or if something may have happened on its own but the guy was very rude and dismissive either way. I will never go back there and would rather pay a little extra for kind service of people who actually know what they are doing!

They denied it saying they have video of the mechanic making sure the filter was tight. They also claimed the truck has multiple leaks prior to us bringing it in. Corporate REFUSED to provide us with the video or the email that the manager of this location at 2117 Argonne, Spokane Valley, WA had replied with when we filed the complaint. Corporate refused to let us talk to the manager of the shop direct. After 2 months of going back and forth, we finally caught the manager in at the shop and MADE him show us the video. (Still can not get a copy of it or video it in office, just got to watch it.) There was no way to actually tell if the mechanic tightened the filter correctly or not, video was out of range and grainy. As far as corporate REFUSING to let customer see video or have access to email from manager just screams "admitting guilt" in my mind. Is it really worth getting and attorney over this??? Lucky for us the trucks engine was not damaged and we are just out $250 at the mechanic to figure out the leak and cleaning of the garage floor. I think social media is the best cure just to make people aware of this location. I am sure the manager is just trying to cover his butt not to have bad marks by blaming a lot on corporate. To be fair the manager did finally try and make it right, with a free oil change. But would your trust your vehicle there again???

I have a F350 7.3L diesel truck that was having a slow crank issue, like the batteries were dead, I…read morereplaced both batteries and was still experiencing weak starting. After research I believed the issue was my starter, I stopped into the Bowdish location where I was recommended to go into the Sullivan location because they have the tool to have our starter tested. Once there we asked the service guy if that was a test they were able to perform. He said he was able to and pulled us into the bay, he let the rest of the workers know he was doing a starter test and grabbed the battery checker from the wall, my Fiancé reminded them that he didn't need the batteries checked just the starter, he continued to check the batteries. After checking both the batteries and the test coming back 100%, the guy tells us that it must be the alternator, and that we are only pulling from the batteries to start the truck. we asked how we have 100% charge if we drove it 6 miles and are only running off battery power. He never answered the question, but he advised us that they could do that alternator, we asked how much that was and he told us he was going inside to get the estimate from the printer. 5 or more minutes later he returns on the phone, and starts asking us questions about last oil change, last fuel filter change, everything except testing the starter as asked before we pulled in. After several calls to someone (we were told the owner/manager) we were told it is absolutely not the starter or the alternator, but that it would need fuel injectors and a new fuel pump. Over $1000 in repairs. We had already ordered the new starter; they were advising to return it. We installed the new starter today; the problem is fixed. The truck has no hesitation to start. These guys were trying to upsell me and weren't even looking at what I pulled into the shop for. They didn't run the test I needed. the person on the phone never heard the truck start. I will be returning to the shop tomorrow to see what they have to say. How can people trust you when you won't perform the test you say you are, and they try to repair stuff that isn't broken or even acting like a problem.

After paying Costco Tires $56 to install and program a new set of TPMS sensors in my 2009 Kia…read moreBorregeo, the TPMS warning light was still on. They told me I needed to drive the car for 15 minutes or more at 30mph or more in order to "reset" the TPMS error lights. So, I drove it on the freeway to Coeur d' Alene and back (40 miles each way) and the TPMS warning lights didn't reset. So, after a little research, I downloaded and printed the TPMS reset procedure from Kia, and took it back to Costco Tire. The procedure I downloaded said to scan the TPMS sensors and then connect the scanner to the OBDII port to upload the sensor ID's to the car's computer. The Costco "technician" brought out a scan tool and scanned all 4 of the new TPMS sensors. I looked at tool they were using, which didn't have an OBDII cable to connect it to the car's computer. I asked the "technician" how he was going to upload the new TPMS sensors RFID's to the car's computer and he gave me a blank "deer in the headlights" look. I explained that scanning the RFID's of the new sensors was only the first step in the process, and that in order for the car's computer to recognize the scanned RFID's for the new sensors, he had to somehow upload the scanned RFID's of the new sensors to the car's computer. I asked him how he was going to accomplish that if his scanner couldn't be connected to the car's computer. Again, I got a blank look and he said "I don't know... our scanner works with the brand of TPMS sensors we sell, and we program the sensors before we install them in the tires." FWIW, that answer makes NO sense. The scanner has to connect with the computer in the car SOMEHOW to upload the RFID's of the sensors, or the car's computer ISN'T going to recognize the signals it receives from the new sensors. I tried to explain this concept to the Costco Tire "technician" a couple of different ways, but he just wasn't "getting it". So, at that point I gave up on trying to educate the Costco Tire "technicians" on how TPMS system technology works. I decided it was a waste of time and I left Costco. On my way home I decided to stop by the Tire O Rama on Sprague. When I walked in, I asked Josh, the guy at the counter "Do you have a TPMS scanner that can connect to the OBDII port of my car to upload the scanned RFID's of a new set of TPMS sensors?" His reply was "we sure do". I explained the issue I had with Costco Tire and he said "hang on, let me grab my scanner". After he retrieved the TPMS scan tool, Josh and I walked out to my Borrego, and he scanned all 4 TPMS sensors in under 2 minutes, and then he connected the scan tool to the OBDII port of my car. He pushed a couple of buttons on the scan tool, and within about 3 - 4 minutes he had uploaded the RFID's of the new TPMS sensors to the car's computer and also cleared the TPMS error codes to make the TPMS warning lights go out. I was VERY impressed. Josh obviously understood how a TPMS system works and what it takes to fix TPMS error codes. When I asked Josh "what do I owe you?" he said, "nothing, don't worry about it". What an INCREDIBLE customer service experience! Josh was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Give that young man a raise! I can guarantee you that I will NEVER go back to Costco Tire. From now on Tire O Rama will be my "go to" for tires or tire-related work or repairs!

See the photo. Also, after my service was done, they told me after their driver gets back they still wouldn't be able to come pick me up (I live 2 minutes away) because they had to go get someone else. They were unwilling to take a 2 minute detour for a customer whose service was completed because their other customer mattered more I guess. And so I just walked there to pick up my car and I noticed that when the driver did get back, he didn't go anywhere for over 20 minutes, so I guess they just didn't want a brown guy sitting in their car. I went to them to give them an opportunity to take accountability and apologize for damaging my property, but they were incredibly rude and disrespectful to me even though I was willing to move on had they taken accountability and apologized for the property damage they caused. However, they lack the integrity and honesty to do just that and so I feel it is important to let everyone in my community know just what kind of disrespectful and dishonest people these guys are. Oh and their prices are just scams, there's much better service for more affordable prices in the valley, but that's irrelevant to my dissatisfaction.

The whole situation felt intentional and dishonest. If it was truly free, it wouldn't have been charged. This was misleading and unacceptable. I would not recommend this place.
