They practiced good communication during the process with parts that were delayed due to the Christmas season. I will be returning with any transmission issues I have and would highly recommend. Honest, respectful, and good communication.... Best experience I've had with a shop. I have had many engine swaps, rebuilds and transmission replacements over the last 20 years as I've taken keeping up as a hobby. I've had my rounds a few shops. This one is getting my business every time.

I had my Ford Ranger automatic transmission rebuilt at Valley Transmission approximately 25K miles…read moreago and have now experienced multiple parts failures the most recent being the input speed sensor (the manual lever position sensor failed right after the rebuild was completed). I was informed by an employee at Valley Transmission that they had used Chinese parts to do the rebuild. For $3400 dollars I was expecting OEM parts so this came as a total surprise to me. As far as I can tell the work done by the Valley Transmission mechanic was solid but the Chinese parts used in the rebuild are of inferior manufacture and the warranty is expired so I am now left $3400 poorer with a nonfunctional vehicle. RESPONSE TO VALLEY TRANSMISSIONS RESPONSE: Sheryl, It doesn't matter where they were purchased from. I was informed by a Valley Transmission employee that they were Chinese manufactured parts. With multiple failures (one right after the rebuild) the parts used in the rebuild are clearly of inferior manufacture.

It occasionally shifted hard- after them "looking at it" then there was huge knocking when starting or stopping and they completely lied about my transmission fluid- said it was almost black when it was just light brown- not too bad. Then the owners responded to a google review with a bunk email address. These people are sleazy, scandalous dishonest people. Stay far away!!

took my car in for track off and abs light, they said the ABS control module was bad and…read morediscontinued. they found one and installed and also changed the oil and filter. So 13 days later my stepdaughter is using the car for work and got stranded downtown Spokane. the change oil light and check engine light came on. after I arrived to her location the would not start, what I found was the positive battery cable was loose, as soon as I touched it it fell out of the battery(side mount) I was able to get a tight connection using a bolt and nut, got the car started but running rough and would die. had it towed from Hartley street to Aamco in the valley, that was Thursday night. Friday evening at 4:02pm they call and tell me the car is ready. I go to pick it up and start it the check engine light is still on and will not stay running, so it sat over this past weekend and I went up there this morning and still haven't heard from them. they did have 2 codes- crankshaft positioning sensor and theft deterrent. these can be caused by a loose battery connection of 5 days of driving it like that( not knowing it was loose) until my stepdaughter got stranded. the bouncing around sending false signals to the main brain and sensors.
