You'll find car tires and concrete in the low flowing creek. You might even catch a draft of El Tapatio's dumpster along the paved trail. But still, the pool is clean, big, and full of fun options, the trail bends along the creek and has little wandering trails that lead off, and that playground is pretty sweet (I'd be pretty happy with that as a kid...or even now). Couch Park, I give you three stars; you are A-OK.

Best place in the world to do yoga. Jeanne is an amazing teacher and knows how to help each and every student that walks through the doors of her studio. I love the heated floor and Jeanne's nurturing attitude. I started out in her chair yoga class...which is not for sissies! Then I got my husband started and he loves it. Tells all his race car buddies how much it has helped him to get in and out of the race car. We are both now in the moderate classes and believe me, you get a great workout and feel so much better afterwards. I encourage everyone to give Tranquility Yoga a try. read more

I started going to Tranquility Yoga Studio about three years ago. I am 67 years old and in as good a shape as I have ever been. Jeanne and all of her instructors are very knowledgeable and will push you to be your best but will also give you the modifications needed to care for your individual body. You will be met at the door with a smile each time you attend class. I always feel rejuvenate when I leave. There is a class for any level of practice from beginner to advanced. So excited with the Tranquility Yoga Studio and the instructor Jeanne, having struggled with my weight and waist line for years - this yoga practice is the answer!! I was extremely hesitant to try yoga but at the encouragement of my best friend and my youngest daughter I did. I have lost 15 lbs and four inches from waist!!!! So happy with my experience today at tranquility yoga studio. Jeanne, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly and a fantastic instructor. From the second you walk in and smell the essential oils to the very end it's a great experience. I was going to sign up for as many classes as I could, but then I looked at my three year old and then at my planner. One class was all I could squeeze in. Blast. So, I signed up for Restorative Yoga on Thursday at 6:30 PM. Parking is limited if folks are out and about. No street parking available at all. There was an empty lot, but all the spots near the street lights were full. I ended up parking in the dimly lit back near the overpass. Super safe. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested to get a quick tour and lay of the land. The studio is super clean, spunky in character, and has plenty of storage for all the things one needs when working out. I was offered a bottle of water, which I happily took, and was then told that this one was on the house otherwise it would cost me $2. Well, that seemed like a snarky lesson, but okay, noted. I thought it was just a friendly gesture. Word to the wise: BRING YOUR OWN WATER. Abby was the yoga instructor for our session. That studio faces the street with a wall of windows but it was not overly bright at all. The lights were dimmed, electric candles were turned on, and soothing music was playing the background. Abby was a wonderful instructor, gently guiding the 7 of us in the class through relaxing poses and stretches. I did have one quibble in that I am not at all flexible, especially when I have not worked out beforehand. She startled me when trying to press on my back during child pose but profusely apologized after class once I explained why I was not putting all my weight on the bolster. The best part of this class: the head massage. You read that right, the head massage. It was brief but glorious. Overall, this was a wonderful and relaxing yoga class! Highly recommend!
