Best gym I've been to! Staff is friendly and always has answers for any questions I've had. Calm atmosphere and friendly people here too. I've brought 3 people here and I'll definitely be trying to bring more! Hit your personal goals and write your name on the Wall of Fame

There is a nice mix of clients that frequent the gym, and it just has a nice, laid back vibe for the most part. This location recently got a bit of a glow up! I didn't recognize some areas when I came back, but it was in a great way. They incorporated a section of free weights that before only consisted of dumbbells, cables and machines, so this was a welcome addition. They also brought in a lot of new machines to replace the aging equipment. I noticed just today that some of the machines have digital screens that count the number of reps you complete and the amount of rest time in between sets. It's automatic. You don't even have to program it or push start, etc... I really only use the weights, as I get plenty of cardio at work, but they do have a decent selection of cardio equipment as well. They also have tanning beds and hydro massage therapy, but again, I can't speak to these, as I don't utilize them. If you're thinking about getting back to the gym for the new year and starting some healthy habits, this is a good place to do just that in a variety of ways to keep you from getting bored or stale.

I'm very respectful of my space, always wipe machines down, & never have the small bag in anyone's area or way. It's never been an issue. I watch others leaving trash, water bottles, never wiping the equipment, hanging around chatting taking up space....you know, real annoyances....and my small bag IS THE PROBLEM? To begin, if you don't know, this gym's members lean toward the affluent. You can see the evidence…read moreexamining the parked cars, the spectrum of services typically offered at a country club, and the what I call "the new shoe parade" (adults over 40 wearing the most trendy athletic shoes). Glaring discrepancies: - the men's bathroom stalls don't stay locked efficiently and have a peek-a-poo gap you can use both eyes to see through. They'll spend money on fake plants, yet won't fix what's needed (this applies to other issues as well) - so far this summer, the outside "hot tub" is either disgusting, jets don't work, flooded with kids under 12 (there's a rule against that), or it's closed off - when it's busy, you'd swear no one in the greater Tulsa area is going to any other gym at that moment - it's succumb to the "Premium" disease. Some things you can't do unless you pay more - and a general membership is already pricey - if you want to play pickleball - good luck. They change the schedule of when the courts are available for whatever types of players. If it's free play, you might end up waiting awhile before you play again. There's only 3 courts. That's all for now. I'm sure there's other issues. Those are just from my lens. Two stars simply because it has so many services. Think "Costco" of gyms. It's got a dystopian feel and it's up to you how much kool aid you want to drink.

They have allowed a swim team to occupy EVERY SINGLE LANE. I was told this was temporary and they would be done with the pool by January. It is now February and they are still here. There has been no mention of this on the club schedule. Then there's the state of the equipment. There's been a lot of equipment down for repairs. There has also been a lot of torn padding. Broken mirror in the locker room that took almost 2 weeks to fix. Sauna that's down almost 2weeks out of every month All of this and no ACTUAL club manager. Email left unanswered. For what they charge there should be more attention and accountability.

I will keep you…read moreupdated as I go, but so far, it has been a very fun, authentic and surprisingly empowering experience. - The gym itself has never been overcrowded. There is plenty of space and equipment to accommodate everyone comfortably. - I love that parking is quick and easy. (I was a tad worried about the 71st street traffic when I initially saw the address... but it's actually a bit removed from mall traffic... so the traffic had never been an issue for me.) - I love the 24/7 access pass. As a female, I feel very safe... even later in the evening if I'm the only one there. It's very secure. - Everyone's been very friendly, considerate... and everyone is REAL... I workout with REAL people (they don't look "plastic" or "photoshopped")... they are real people who take their goals seriously. Everyone you meet at Styrka is there to better themselves... and it's totally fine wherever YOU may be in that self improvement process. Even if you're just starting out, or it's been a while... and you're trying to get back into the swing of things... you WILL feel welcomed and supported... no matter your skill level. - It's very clean and tidy. The bathrooms are always clean and people are really good about tidying up after themselves. Love that! - Another cool thing about this place, if you have a question... people around are happy to help. (That might be the best part... that Styrka is a community...) It's not impersonal... you don't get lost in the crowd... And you actually get to put names with smiling faces. One final tip: If you are newer to the gym or if the correct form has always been a bit of a mystery to you... it's worth investing in some sessions with one of the trainers that work out of Styrka. Even just a little bit of coaching will boost your knowledge and confidence immensely. Don't suffer in silence. Having an expert guiding you puts you on the fast track to RESULTS! Hope this helps! :)

Here is the email I received from their Customer Support: Hello Michelle, The terms on the membership are a 30 days' notice for cancellation. Anything owed up until the date of cancellation and any payments set to draft in the next 30 days are owed.
