I have been waiting anxiously for this location to open for months now! It was worth the wait and I'm psyched it's finally up and running. My mom was the first one to introduce me to the benefits of infrared saunas, from blood circulation to skincare, there are many! My love of saunas has grown throughout the years but it's always been a challenge accessing one. The last one I tried was one at the gym I attended but it was always annoying to deal with it being overcrowded, unkept or out of service for other issues. When I first heard about HOTWORX, the first thing I thought was, "Working out in a sauna?! This was made just for me!" and I wasn't wrong. I was in even before the very first time I tried their workouts. I'm all about it. Great concept. Great execution. When I heard this location was getting ready to open, I knew the stars were aligning just for me. The staff and owner have been extremely helpful and they're all so authentically friendly. The owner has a great story of how he was first introduced to HOTWORX and has seen the benefits of it first hand. The first class is always free, just call to make an appointment. They have several saunas available and a rotation of fitness class schedules, from hot warrior yoga to rowing and cycling. Most workouts are 30 minutes. The saunas have tvs inside with the trainer walking you through each step. They have special mats and mat towels you can borrow. Definitely bring water and a towel! You will sweat for sure! You can control the temperature and how loud the video is. This is the perfect meditation for me. Even though their saunas can technically fit 3 people (it would be a tight fit!), I've always been able to be in there by myself so far. They will offer 24/7 access soon which is a huge plus. Their membership prices are very reasonable and they have a special opening discount available. Definitely give it a try! Highly recommend.

I love this gym. I'm a bigger girl due to health issues - insulin resistance, hormones and low…read morethyroid. But I have never felt like I was judged here for that. I've slowly lost 10lbs with diet change and coming to their yoga classes and barbell class. Plus, cardio and some light weight training. I love all the morning yoga instructors; Trish, Jeana & Kristi. They are all so nice and so kind, I feel so welcomed and at peace when I go to yoga. Even during heated yoga where most everyone is super fit, I feel like I belong and that I am not being judged. I love the gym and feeling so welcomed has made me love going. It's my favorite time of the day, the few days a week that I have been going. It's so nice to feel like I can finally make the change for my health because the facilities are clean, the staff are extremely nice & the classes are so helpful when you can't afford the extra cost of personal training.

They have allowed a swim team to occupy EVERY SINGLE LANE. I was told this was temporary and they would be done with the pool by January. It is now February and they are still here. There has been no mention of this on the club schedule. Then there's the state of the equipment. There's been a lot of equipment down for repairs. There has also been a lot of torn padding. Broken mirror in the locker room that took almost 2 weeks to fix. Sauna that's down almost 2weeks out of every month All of this and no ACTUAL club manager. Email left unanswered. For what they charge there should be more attention and accountability.

As a regular VASA member for six months plus, I have observed the gym's crowd levels, which, while…read moresometimes busy, are more manageable compared to other gyms. The staff's professionalism and welcoming nature are notable. The cleanliness of the facility is generally good, though temperature and lighting could be improved as it is very bright and very hot in there. My primary concerns are the use of tripods and video recording, which seems unrestricted, and the differing expectations for male and female attire, as the males are asked to keep their shirts on, while the females walk around in nothing more than a bra and panties. Implementing a universal dress code requiring shirts would promote a more inclusive environment. Moreover, moderating the music volume and diversifying the playlist would cater to a broader range of preferences as I'm sure most people would agree we do not want to listen to songs by Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys from their very first albums. I do suggest something more culturally diverse and less drag queen show. Thanks in advance.
