Writing from the massage chair as I wrap up my first visit -- and I am already a regular…read more This place was a Mother's Day gift, and what a gift it was. I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

(I wish monthly lol) The staff is super friendly and attentive to every needs. You get your own locker which includes your robe and sandals. I bring a separate change of clothes and my bathing suit to use the amenities. They have a hot tub, steam room, sauna, misting room, showers and a quiet room. The staff are also very detailed on explaining the treatments given prior. They also have a clean organized station of towels, baggies for wet clothes, iced towels, razors and razor creams, hair brushes and hair styling tools. They also serve delicious and cold beverages as well as some fruit and hot tea. It is best to eat before (lightly) My new favorite booking is a spa facial. It's truly a relaxing and refreshing experience. I had Ashley today and she was so sweet and very helpful to heal my dry skin. The place is pricey but it's worth it! I come home so relaxing and in peace. Definitely a nice treat for a birthday or anniversary celebration.

However, nearly every time we've come here, the checkout process is somehow botched - resembling closer to a bad DMV experience - and takes way too long to resolve. And this is for monthly paying members. The checkout process should be close to SEAMLESS for a standard massage that's included in the monthly membership. Please review your technology behind the counter and/or the training you give your staff on those systems. No one wants to wait around for 10-20 minutes after a relaxing massage just to checkout!

As soon as we came in, the atmosphere was peaceful and warm, and Sam T and Tracy further enhanced our experience with their great vibe. My mom is still raving about Sam T. She keeps telling me how comfortable she was and how much her body was improved after the session. She was so crazy about it that she went ahead and booked her boyfriend a session with Sam T right after we left, which is basically the proof. Speaking of my session, I was with Tracy, and she blew me away. She gave me the attention I needed and mainly worked on the parts of my body where I usually have the most stress. The thing I liked the most was her depth of knowledge. She didn't just target those areas but also told me what she was observing and indicated to me what might need more work in the future. The whole thing was very much a one-to-one treatment, and it seemed like she really wanted to help me improve not just for the time being but long-term as well. They both, in a way, almost made us forget about time and totally immerse ourselves in the moment. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

From the start, everything felt calm, like a perfect little reset for my day. A huge thank you to Mia for treating me like a queen. Now, my hair is incredibly soft, silky, and beautiful. I can't stop touching it because it feels so amazing. Nothing beats a self-care moment that makes you feeling refreshedand totally pampered. My fiance booked us a massage + facial +head spa. Now I know that with all that, there has got to be a focus and for this visit it was definitely the upper back massage. My lady went innnn and I loved it! Couple things from this package that I didn't find impressing is the enclosed massage hole. I dint feel like I had great airflow and the idea of breathing in from a sink just doesn't seem appealing nor was it enjoyable. The facial; the products didn't sting however it did when it got in my eye, I was a bit panicked bc I felt a bead in my right eye, I washed it off, it got better as the day went on but my eyelids were on fire for days, she didn't leave my under eye or my top lid alone instead she applied the products on top of them which I thought was interesting. The final thing I wasn't a fan of was that she kept putting her fingers inside my ears! I've been to a head spa in Orange County and they try their best not to wet your ears AT ALL, I mean, think about it, you're relaxing, and then boom! Water in your ears and fingers in your ears... idk, maybe to some it's not bothersome but to me it was uncomfortable. The ladies were so sweet though and nice, they blow dried my hair halfway which is totally fine. I definitely think there are couple things to consider but it wasn't a horrible experience! They did a wonderful job on the massage and setting the ambiance to be as relaxing as possible so I give them that!
