So I started going Here because I spotted it on my way coming home from work. I was excited because inside is very beautiful. The first few times I had good experiences. But this last time I had went in for a fill and a pedicure. Amanda I believe is her name was the one to do my fill in when I told her that I want to do regular polish because I had chosen an Essie color for my toes and they do not carry no chip. She insisted that I do no Chip she had another associate go and look for a matching color. The last time that I had gotten no chip I told her that I smoke and whatever they had did the last time had like horrible reaction with my nails and started turning them brown and black around the ends and I have never had an issue like that before. And that's the reason why I don't want to do it no chip again. So Amanda insisted that before she used a different clearcoat and that was the difference so this time she would put a different clear coat. So trusting her and after spending $70 for a fill in and a pedicure I left almost satisfied even though the color of my nails was slightly off from my toes. So around 8 PM I realize my nails are starting to discolor.. So the following morning I go in there and Amanda is working and the owner and I walk in and tell them that I was just in there yesterday I explain the whole situation and Right away Amanda got defensive and rude telling me that I did something with my nails I put them in "chemicals" that's why it's having that reaction. Or because I smoke. First of all I told you this to begin with..What sense does that make? I have been getting my nails done since I was 13 years old and I have been smoking since I was 15 years old I have never had any incidences like this with my nails turning colors. So after refusing me for about 15 minutes she finally sat me down I told her please paint my nails the polish that I chose yesterday for my toes. She rudely set me down, I was very uncomfortable. she was painting my nails with an attitude and very rushed when she came to do with the rhinestones on the finger she did such a horrible job . I just walked out. I will never be returning here they just lost a consistent customer. Remember ladies the customers are always right and when we are spending OUR hard earned money on a service in your place of business it's a good idea to be professional and make sure that your customers leave happy and satisfied. read more

Although the tech I had today was lovely and way more friendlier than the other techs I have dealt with...my nails look horrible! It's as if I did them myself. I'm very disappointed in the work she did. read more

Tran Nails - Very upset with the way my nails look...I wish I would've paid attention when I was still there. - Nail Salons Near Me - Elmhurst, Illinois

I called and asked if they offered the UV liquid gel enhancements and was told yes... I made an appointment and once my existing nails were removed, I was told that they only had the liquid/powder gel... the top coat is cured with a UV lamp... news flash... liquid/powder is not gel... it's in a different polymer category all together. However, overall, the place is nice and clean and the people are friendly. If I ever go back to acrylics, I may give it another try... read more

I have gone here before and they did a good job on my nails. I came back again last week and had Candy do my pedicure. I needed to use there restroom before my pedicure and when i came back she set my feet in FREEZING cold water. She the made the water room temp. and went on with the pedicure. She was rushing the entire time and then when it came to the hot towel, she wrapped my leg and it was burning hot! this place is usually pretty good but this was a bad experience. read more

I'm giving this place a zero. First they skipped over me for 30 min. When these ppl were coming in all were walk ins. And a lot were getting a no chip mani and a pedi like myself. But I looked past that. When finally they took me to the pedi chair the water was running and was room temp. When I told them it was then too hot, the tech over turned on the cold water ... by the time my tech came the water was too cold and I was already too frustrated. From being skipped over to not enjoying the warm water. Next the tech asked if I was getting a mani. I gave her the no chip number and she went to check and said they didn't have it. She offered me to get out of th water and go look for a new color!!!!!! Had it been the nail salon I normally go to they would have apologized (for one) and 2 , they would have brought the colors TO me. Next my pedi was literally 15 min ... I'm sorry but if you're gonna call it a spa pedi please don't do it for 15 min. I wouldn't have tipped but I'm not cheap like their service . Btw I didn't get a manicure bc I wasn't going to get out the water. I understand you have to work but please , if you don't like what you're doing please quit . And I suggest they get a host or receptionist bc watching these techs get up every time a walk in comes in and they interrupt their current customer makes you wanna jump in to help . I'm not going into detail about the outcome of the pedi. JUST HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE read more

Went there today and the air was so thick with fumes from fakes nails you high dizzy and it was hard to breathe . It was a nice day and it seems like they turn of all the ventilation/fans read more

I was a walk in and did not need to wait. I asked for natural low key nails for a interview and that is exactly what I got. I will go back when I need a no chip manicure. read more

The first time I came here they did my nails really nice and I loved it, but I went last night and I'm not going back there ever again. The lady who did my nails was rushing it, didn't do it how I asked and gave me attitude. Word of advice go early or else they will rush your nails, I definitely will NOT be going back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! My friend got a fungal infection because they do not sanitize equipment properly!!

Both times I have been here I have been extremely disappointed with the service. The nail techs are constantly getting up from their clients and try to service two clients at once. The manicure itself wasn't great either, uneven polishing. This place is very understaffed and tries to take on too many customers at once. They do offer cheap prices but you get what you pay for here. I will not be returning. read more

I'm pretty upset with my experience at the salon. The last time I went I had a really good nail tech but this time there was someone else. I went in to get dip powder nails done with old dip powder already on my nails. At other salons they usually do an acetone soak to take off the dip gently, but this nail tech ripped them off my nails. He used an acrylic nail to get underneath the old dip nails to rip them off my real nails. It was a little painful and it severely damaged my real nails. Then he ripped off some of my real nail with the dip at the edges and had to glue my real nail together. My nails weren't torn underneath the dip before he took them off. Also it looked like he was really rushing through the process and that left my nails to be uneven in texture when it's usually very smooth looking. read more

The reason I am updating this review as I sit here in the chair is because the level of service has declined. I am currently getting a pedicure from someone that speaks no English and is just not very good. I have an ingrown toe nail that she barely touched. In the past they didn't stop until it was completely removed. I guess I am very disappointed and sad that this has happened to what I thought after my first few experiances was a great place. read more

Went to get a fill in for my nails and made an appointment the day before and still had to wait an extra 30 minutes. They were unclear about the pricing and when it came time to pay they charged me 15 dollars extra than what I saw on the board because they didn't say it cost more when I was choosing from another rack. Overall rude employees and terrible service. I do not recommend going, and if u do, make sure u ask before you get anything done. read more

This place is beautiful! I got a no chip manicure and a spa pedicure, and the lady named Coco did such a good job! She was so sweet and gentle, and paid attention to the small details. Definitely going back, my nails look so cute!! read more

This is the worst. I have been a few times cause it's close. The pedicure was so rough that my feet literally hurt for 2 days after. Then I went for my nails and every nail was a different length and thickness. I wasted so much money. This past Wednesday I went in for pink and whites he told me no one was there that knew how to do them. To make an appointment and tomorrow they would have someone. Made the appointment went in wanted an hour and person still didn't show up. I will not go back read more

This place totally sucks! My pedicure took 9 minutes! My feet do not feel clean. They literally use a timer to service you. I even asked her if she was done already and she looked at me like I offended her. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. The girl servicing me was more interested in playing around with her coworkers than doing her job. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and I've liked how they've done my nails and I got to experience dip powder here. But lately when I've been coming here they've been making my nails look so thick and honestly before I wouldnt say anything but it's gotten to the point where it's bad. How do you not see that they look bad?? After I told them I didn't like them they were all going against me and kept speaking the language they speak and laughing I just thought they were really rude and I honestly just wanted them to take it off and they insisted they could fix them and still at the end I didnt like them but gave up because its been over 2 hours. Super bad experience and I'm never coming here again. read more

The salon is very spacious, nicely decorated and most importantly, clean. I was able to walk in for a mani/pedi on a Sunday without a wait. David did a great job and was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely think twice before you drive past this spot - it's a great find! read more

Made an appointment for 5:20 and it took until 6 pm for them to take me. It took until 6:15 to start on my sister who also had an appointment for 5:20. They had two different people work on her nails and charged extra for a design when she wanted only have or her nails painted and the rest clear. I love my nails and they look decent considering they couldnt do what I originally asked for; however, it shouldn't be this much of a hassle. They said they can't do designs on dip extensions? I have had it before but ok. Also my cuticles are looking worse than when I came in. The cost for us both was $105 because they kept tacking on extras. They painted my dip with clear coat (not gel) which is fine, so I sat down to dry them and she said five minutes. 8-9 minutes go by so i wash my hands and she rushes over MAD saying it hasn't been 5 minutes. Then she insisted to repaint them when they were fine. It took so long for no reason. So annoying bro. Carrie get it together. You're rude as hell for a manager and so unprofessional. I try and try to like it here but I just don't. read more

Super clean! I'm loving this new place. They take their time with the pedicures and I feel so relaxed afterwards. I know it's new but I can't get over how clean it is. I really hope it stays that way. read more

I went in on the recommendation of my cousin and was thrilled! I have been looking for a clean and beautiful salon since I moved to Elmhurst about a year ago. This is it! Loved the first impression upon walking in to the salon. Everything was nice and clean. Pedicure was amazing! My nails are the best I have had in a very long time. I used to go to Luxury not any longer!! I found my new home. My gel nails look amazing! and its been 2 1/2 weeks and I still don't see the outgrowth that I did at the last place that I had been going for years. Thank you. read more

A friend and I just returned home from a pedicure today. We had an appointment at 11:00( they took us right away, but had to fill bowl) and were sitting under the lights at 11:30. The salon is very clean, that's why we go there. Before the new management, they took the time to make sure your feet looked good. Today, she didn't even cut the nails. Just filed very quickly. They don't take much time anymore. In and out. Period. In the last few months, it has been a hit or miss. Today, it looks as if we didn't even get a professional pedicure. My feet look the same as when I went in. Little toe wasn't even cut. Hard skin around toes weren't even cut. I don't think we'll be going back. It's a shame because the girls are nice, very clean, and close to home. But if I don't feel pampered, it isn't worth the money. read more

So I came in to get an acrylic done, made it very clear that I wanted basic acrylic. They filed my nails down super short which I didn't want, why would I want to pay to get fake nails when they're the same length as my natural nails? Then at the end they told me it was $15 extra for gel when I didn't ask for gel. They told me they can take it off and put a normal color, I don't have time to sit in a nail salon for 3 hours.... I want it done right the first time?! Definitely coming back tomorrow and it's to get my money back, after that I don't plan on coming back read more

Best nail salon around!! Customer service is superior to any other salon. Plus, there's a huge selection of no-chip/regular polish.

BEST nail salon I have been to in a LONG time! They're very nice, clean, professional, and they take your time to get things done the way you want them. I would highly recommend them! read more

This is the best place in Elmhurst! Relaxing, clean, and well staffed. I can always get an appointment or pop in for a quick polish change. I get my nails done here almost every week and I am always happy with my service! Love Tran Nails! read more

The first two times that I came here were ok. However, this last time was horrible! My toes were poorly polished and my fingernails looked horrendous. My no chip started chipping before I even left the nail salon. There was fingernail polish all over my hands and parts of my nails weren't even polished. The polish was clumpy and it looked really bad. I pointed this out to the nail tech and she added some nail polish thinner to the polish and added another coat to my nails. This did not fix the problem. After 1 hour 15 minutes of being there my fingers and toes looked terrible! The "manager" noticed the poor nail job and pointed it out to the nail tech. After charging me the nail tech states "I can fix it." I was pressed for time as my mom's funeral was the next day and I still had lots of things to do that evening. The manager stated, "come back after the funeral." She said that if you can't come back then, I'll give you 2 days after that to get this fixed, that's it. No empathy at all. There is no way I'd ever step foot back in the place. I literally had to peel polish off of my hands. read more

I don't really get manicures that often, but the time I came to get one here for a job interview, I was very impressed. It is very clean and beautiful, the interior, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The service was bland, but that is fine. The manicure itself was great. The woman who did mine took her time, I could tell she cared about quality and detail. Afterwords, the manicure lasted several weeks before chipping. Impressed! I hope to go back again in the future. read more

Needed a place open late, so they were perfect. Very nice salon and pedi chairs. Coco took care of me. She was efficient and I was satisfied with the service. The color I originally selected looked terrible once she started to put it on, and I appreciate being able to change the color without much trouble. Had the regular spa pedicure, which was fairly competitively priced. Would go here again. read more

My daughter (22) and I walked in late on Saturday (7/23/16). Our 1st time there. Huge space, clean, very comfortable chairs. We both had mani/pedi and were 100% satisfied. Used their 20% coupon that came in mail. Probably my new favorite nail place in Elmhurst. read more

This place has really declined with new management. Old polish, nail techs aren't very good. Manager Carrie is not honest.

I've only gotten a pedicure, so I can only comment on that. At the time I went they had a $20 pedicure special. Really a great price! Everything was very sanitary. They put a plastic liner on the tub and wear gloves and a mask. I would definitely return. read more

Best pedicure I have had in years!!! Friendly, clean, and relaxing, this place is beautiful. Bring a group of ladies and sit in the large rotunda-like chair area. I'm sad I waited so long to try this place, but I will be a regular now. Location isn't great, but lots of parking and space inside. There was no wait on a Thursday evening walk-in.
