Great place. They took care of my 3 y/o daughter for her first pedicure. The ladies were very careful, and good with her. They even brought out some toys for her to play with. Great, clean place.

My babies were well taken care of!! Amazing with my twitchy little girls.

I can't tell you how amazing these guys were with my girls. We came for a polish change and they made them full like they were getting full manis. We were in a rush so I didn't get mine but I will definitely be back.

I tried Holiday Nails for the first time today and got an sns dip manicure. I love it and can't wait to see how long they last. I was taken right at my appointment time and actually enjoyed what they play in the salon more than what's usually playing in others. Good experience, great price and I will be back. Update: thumb and middle finger on left hand chipped within a week. I will be going back to this salon but for a no-chip instead.

The place is fine, my pedicure was good but I got a dip manicure and it is awful. Dip is suppose to last up to 3 weeks. It's been a week and all of my nails are cracked and one whole nail came off. I'm beyond disappointed. Going to get a refund today.

A week ago I came to get a dip manicure before my Spartan race and they still look great! I just came back to get my monthly pedicure! Ever since day one I have received wonderful service. Always very kind, and accommodating with me. They do an amazing job too. I say their prices are great for the quality of service they provide. I'm definitely staying here!

I decided to come to this salon because my nail lady is no longer avaliable on the days I have off. The shop is real cute and very clean. They acknowledged me right away . First I did call at 630 asking if I could get in cause I know they closed at 8. They told me 7:35 and I was happy they would take me even close to close time. I had Erica sweet girl she didn't rush even after 8:00 she took her time making sure all my nails were the same length. The only thing is it was a little more then my usual place by $8 dollars but that's ok with me. I will be going back for a pedi soon!! And will continue to go to Erica. I had gotten the red cat eyes . Gorgeous!

It was my first time going here today. I usually go to another nail salon on 83 closer to my house but I decided to venture out and saw this place had great ratings on google. I got a gel full set and I'm soo impressed. Ericka is amazing! I gave her a great tip because she didn't rush and took her time and looked like she loved what she did and wanted to get great results. Sometimes that's hard to find at salons, I've had people just rush my nails. This is definitely the place if you like a more quiet, laid back salon. Netflix was on in the background and there was only 2 of us in the salon at this point. To be fair it was 10:30 am, but it was really relaxing. Will DEFINITELY be returning many times after today!

Uneven and lumpy. Was cut and burned my pinky.

Not sure if just the gentleman working is this bad but I'm furious with the fact that I was charged $38 first such a terrible job. Will not be returning.

No chip manicure with gelish #19

Was pleasantly surprised that they offer happy hour prices on sundays 11am-2pm 10% off. This was the no chip gelish #19 manicure for 27$ such a great deal!! Andddd it's guaranteed for two weeks and they give you a punch card where you get 25 dollars off your tenth service. Great service too, they were very nice and seemed to care about the detail of my manicure. Definitely will be back.

This is my go to place every time I am in town. It's very clean and the staff is amazing. They will tend to your needs and make you feel like a princess! I got a chrome manicure today from Erica, which she told me they just got in recently. And also some appropriate decorations for my toes lol. 10/10. They will always be my favorite.

I went here for dip and a wax. A bit cheaper than what I paid at another place. I didn't get a massage, which is fine. I will be back.

Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the most disappointing spa experiences I've had. I booked a 60-minute deep tissue massage with the scalp oil and Hypervolt add-ons. Neither add-on was performed... my scalp was never touched and no massage gun was used though I was initially charged for both (they were only refunded after I reached out). The massage itself felt rushed and incomplete. Most areas of my body were barely worked on, and I left still in pain. When I got up, I noticed the digital wall clock in the room had been partially covered with a towel.. specifically, only the minutes portion was covered. I later realized the session had ended about 5-10 minutes early. Management later claimed that covering the clock is standard practice for guest comfort, but that explanation does not make sense. The clock was not bright at all, and there was a much brighter light left on in the corner of the room the entire time. If a digital clock is supposedly too bright and distracting, then it would make more sense to use a standard wall clock or not have a visible clock at all. Partially covering only the minutes, the part that tells you exactly how much time is left... felt like a very shady business practice rather than a comfort measure. I was also told afterward that my massage was shortened because I arrived late. However, when I checked in, the front desk assured me they were able to push my appointment back and accommodate me so that I would still receive my full 60 minutes. At no point before or during the massage was I informed that my session would be cut short. Letting a guest believe they are getting their full service and then ending early without any communication feels unprofessional. When I contacted them about all of this, the only thing offered was a complimentary add-on for a future visit. but only if I book and pay for another full-price massage. After already spending over $220 and being this unhappy, I don't find it reasonable to be asked to come back and spend another $200 just to receive a small add-on for free. A partial or full refund for the actual massage would have been far more appropriate. I have since been ignored. Overall, this experience did not match the premium price at all. I left sore, stressed, and disappointed. I would not recommend Spavia Elmhurst based on this visit.

Over the past…read moreyear or so, I've noticed a general decline in the overall experience, but I continued going because the location is convenient when I'm already in the area running errands. After what happened today, however, I will not be returning. I came in today, September 30, around 10:20 a.m. in the pouring rain for a simple lip wax. I apologized for being 7 minutes late. The front desk employee immediately told me, "I'll take you this time, but next time I won't." I said I understood, but mentioned that I thought there was a 10-minute grace period. She corrected me and said it was actually 7 minutes. I pointed out that I was, apparently, still within that window. Her response was visibly irritated. Then she asked me to complete a customer profile form. I explained that I had been there within the past few months and asked whether I really needed to complete the entire form again. Her response was essentially, yes, this is what you have to do, which I found odd, but I started filling it out. I then said I needed to use the restroom quickly and would finish the form when I came back. This is where the interaction became completely bizarre. She told me, "We don't need to wax you today." I honestly didn't understand what she meant and asked her to clarify. She then indicated that I didn't need to fill out the form and didn't need to get waxed there today, in a tone that felt like she was refusing to provide the service. She also mumbled something under her breath that I found derogatory. At that point, I said, "What is your problem?" I explained that I had a pedicure appointment immediately afterward anyway and would simply have the service done elsewhere. I then asked for her name because I intended to contact corporate about the interaction. Instead of simply giving me her name or allowing me to leave, she told me I needed to leave and picked up the phone and said "I'm just going to call the police." Yes -- over a customer asking for the employee's name after an uncomfortable interaction about a lip wax. I remained at the front desk and told her that I thought the response was completely extreme and that I would be contacting corporate from my car. I left, contacted corporate, and also contacted the local non-emergency police line to document what had happened. I was told they would conduct a wellness check at the business. I am still genuinely confused about how a routine waxing appointment escalated into this. I have been a customer of this location for years, and I have watched the experience decline, but today's interaction was on an entirely different level. There was no reason for the interaction to become hostile, and certainly no reason for a routine customer-service issue to escalate to the point of possible police involvement. I would strongly recommend going to the Elmhurst Waxing the City location instead. At this point, the convenience of Oak Brook Terrace is not worth the headache. Management/corporate: I sincerely hope this interaction is reviewed, including what happened at the front desk and why a customer who was simply trying to clarify the situation was treated this way. What should have been a five-minute lip wax turned into me leaving in the rain, without the service, after having to make two separate calls to report what happened. Absolutely bizarre.
