The salmon entree looked beautiful on the plate however the fish was medium rare to rare and not as flaky as I hoped. The blue sauce had no actual flavor and was scant. The papaya salad was weird to say the least and tough. Possibly the worst plate of food had to have been the salad I've pictured, with some spotted radicchio. Super bitter and inedible. We sent it away and noticed the table next to us also complain about theirs. The other salad that we replaced it with was just okay and needed more elements. On a positive note, the staff were really friendly and polite and the complimentary bread with honey butter was delicious. My recommendation is to skip this restaurant and walk down to the Steak Pit.

A friend had dinner at the Aerie the evening before and was disappointed in the mushroom appetizer, celery veloute, and sea bass (which she said was overcooked). I have been a fan of the Slopeside Cafe for years, always a go to spot for lunch, and as of…read morerecently, since turning 21, a reliable spot for a cold beer. However, today that has changed. While me and my girlfriend attempted to grab a beer after skiing, both of us who are of the legal drinking age, were denied service for having "fake" IDs. They claimed the IDs did not scan and seemingly made a judgment call claiming that these real, Utah issued licenses, were indeed counterfeit. This is absolutely the most ridiculous encounter I have ever had at a bar. Without proving to me that the scanner did not properly read the ID the bar tender claimed to deny us service because of "fake" IDs. I kindly let the staff know that these claims were the most outlandish and stupid claims I have ever heard. Either the cafe needs new staff that knows how to properly ID patrons or a better scanner. This establishment will not have my support until these issues are resolved.

It kept us filled to snowboard again in the afternoon. Drinks are not very strong. I ordered a margarita and could hardly taste any alcohol. Overall a nice area to spend a break from being on the mountain.
