From out of town and decided to try this local my pie. Pickup was quick and counter service was great. Inside was nice and clean. I came for the pizza but the meatballs with ricotta won me over. Perfect combo and appreciated the pizza chips to pair with it. The garlic knots could use more garlic and were a little over drenched in an oil. I did like the texture and they were perfectly baked. If you enjoy driving somewhere to have it close before the posted hours, I highly recommend this place. We were standing outside 10 minutes before closing, not for a pizza, just for pizza dough. Usually, My Pie serves up some pretty tasty pizza and salads. Tonight, our pizzas were burnt all over the bottom. It seems like their oven needs to be cleaned out a bit before cooking pizzas. We had charred/black burnt old crust all over our fingers and the taste of the burnt areas made the pizza taste pretty unpleasant. Our Mediterranean salad was good, but the dressing seemed much more watery than usual. I wonder if there are new managers on board. We will definitely consider other local pizzerias before My Pie, as this was a pretty expensive disappointment tonight. read more

Lately this pizza place has been our go-to. Each kid orders exactly what they want and we get a giant salad so everyone gets at least a few bites of vegetables. It's fast and fresh and no one walks away hungry! Their ranch is PERFECTION! They also have an open soda fountain so you never have to wait for a refill. Whenever it's my partner's daughter's turn to pick where we go get food, My Pie is typically her go-to. They make personal pizzas and have a pretty wide variety of options including vegan options, gluten-free crust pizzas, and cauliflower crusts. It's a fast casual place where you order at the front and they bring you your pizza when it's done. I don't think I've ever gotten the same pizza here before because they have so many yummy options. You can also build your own pizza, but they have a lot of really yummy flavor combos so I've never built my own. I tend to go for their veggie-heavy options and yesterday I got the "My Greek Pie" with tons of veggies, feta, and a balsamic glaze. We also go one of their Reese's cookies which was perfectly gooey and delicious. The staff here is always so wonderful, the pizzas come out quickly, and they have great options. I ordered a pepperoni pizza from My Pie Pizza via Door Dash. Their pizzas are all 11" size, which makes for good consistency in cooking time. The crust was quite good, of medium density. The sauce was not overpowering in flavor, and there was a good amount of cheese. The failure point was the pepperoni: only seven slices of pepperoni for the whole pizza. If you order salads or other sides with the pizza, it would be large enough to feed 2. The sauce was good, not over spicy and was generous. I look for pizza with save all the way to the edge. The crust was cooked just right. The crust is thick enough that it doesn't crumble on itself when you eat it. The pizza combos were plentiful so finding something you crave shouldn't be hard. Ordered our pies to go, and from the outset it was a good experience. I was greeted on the phone with a proper "Hello, this is __________, welcome to My Pie. How may I help you." That was refreshing. My order was taken promptly by someone who actually seemed to be paying attention and cared to get the order right. On arriving at the restaurant to pick up my order, I was glad to have called ahead so I could skip the Friday night line (there were about 8 people in line, so not too busy, and business remained steady as I waited, briefly, for my order). The cashier was quick and quite nice, and once I was handed my order at least four of the staff members thanked me for coming in--certainly nothing like the poor service reported by another Yelper (maybe they were just having some opening week jitters when that patron visited). My Pie makes only 11" pizzas, made to order, so we ordered three different pies and a couple orders of garlic knots (they come 6 knots per order). Both kids and adults alike in our family really liked the pizzas, and the garlic knots were great. In all, our three pizzas and a dozen garlic knots rang up to $36, so it's a good bargain to boot. My Pie is most certainly worth a visit--it's great to have a pizza joint back in downtown Holladay. read more

They did a super cool Yelp event where you purchased the ingredients, went home and then they showed you how to make one of their delicious pizzas your way, from home. It came in a really co hell tote and Yelp water bottle. The directions were easy to follow and their ingredients were really good. The most fun was I. Rolling the dough out, spinning it and then putting your twist on it. Then of course eating it. What a cool event. read more

I used to love this place but it has gone downhill. The service is so slow. I waited 20 minutes over the estimated finishing time and left with the wrong pizza and the wrong salad dressing. The large Caesar salad is $10.50 and used to fill the container and today it wasn't even halfway full. I sadly will not be going back. It's not worth a $45 dinner for 2 pizzas and basically a $10.50 side salad. read more

This has become my go to place for personal pizzas. I prefer the Fra Diavolo sauce over the pizza sauce for the extra punch of heat and garlic. The staff is likable and always quick with a "welcome back". My cautions are that if you order anything with garlic as an ingredient, be prepared for raw garlic. I was in the mood for a meatball sandwich however they only serve calzones and pizza. I choose a meatball calzone. Pizza was delicious! Customer service was subpar, when I walked in there was one other customer who had already ordered. There were several employees, but no one had acknowledged me for several minutes. Finally someone came up and I told her I was here for a pickup and gave her my name. She handed me my pizza and turned around without saying a word. I'm not a heavy critic of every restaurant I go to, but I do train my employees to acknowledge a customer immediately when they walk in, if nothing else, but to say "I'll be with you in a minute". In the 25 minutes I sat in this restaurant tonight I watched one persons order for pick up get messed up three times (which ended up taking as long as the time it took us to eat our whole meal), another guys two pizzas get made incorrectly that had to be remade, and I got a gluten free pizza that was more of a piece of charcoal covered in cheese. Attached is a picture of the gluten free pizza which is clearly burnt. I took it back and asked if it was usually that burnt for the GF crust, and they said they actually took it out sooner than it was supposed to be. They said it's made of rice and tapioca flour which just makes it burn. In my opinion, if something can't be made to look good or taste good then it shouldn't be sold. Pizza Studio has a tapioca flour crust that's much better and doesn't burn like this. Settebello also has a phenomenal gluten free crust. Aside from a really bad gluten free pizza, it's obvious that it's poorly managed and has a poor process. You tell the guy what you want, who tells another girl what you got, and then a person with a screen asks you what you ordered, and that screen gets sent to another screen where you pay, and the cashier asks you again what you got. There's so much room for error in the process. The amount of errors I saw in 25 minutes is the evidence of poor management, or maybe just poor staff training. Anyway.
