Chicken kabob's minus peppers

Went to lunch at Trak Houz with a few coworker's. We were seated right away. Food was great and came out in a decent amount of time. Great place to grab a quick lunch!! Plus, if you have time you can take a look at the many bikes, RV's and sling shots!!

Kids menu

Ordered 2 Kidz Bitz meals: pizza with fries and chocolate milk. Kids menu states $5.95 for ALL Kidz Bitz including a drink. The bill came and we were charged for 2 chocolate milks. I asked the waitress about it who went to speak to a manager. Upon her return the waitress stated that the manager said 'the Kid Bitz include a drink but it isn't free.' They made a 'one time exception' and refunded the drinks but I cannot fathom how they can even make the argument that the drinks aren't included...it's stated right on the kids menu. Pictures included. Not likely to return.

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while now! Wasn't sure I would be super pumped to have a showroom floor directly in the restaurant...but it works! It gave it a very different feel and I liked it! The place itself is small but the showroom is enormous. After eating our lunch, we wandered over to look at their collection of motorcycle helmets (my friend is in the market for a new one), so that was extremely convenient. Now to the food. Husband ordered their French dip, which was really flavorful and he really enjoyed it. My friend ordered their original tacos with ground beef, which she also enjoyed. They wanted a side of fries for both their meals. (The tacos normally come with chips and salsa) I ordered their fish tacos, which were some of the most beautiful fish tacos I've ever seen! I wanted sweet potato fries with my tacos and those were really good as well. I didn't have high hopes for the meal (I didn't have any expectations as we were originally only there to look at helmets) and was pleasantly surprised at the portions and quality of the food. It was all plated very prettily as well. Their fries were nice and so were the sweet potato fries. They have an extensive beer selection, under normal circumstances. The lines were all frozen so no draft beers for my companions. I did try one of their mixed drinks, the Georgia Peach: Evan Williams Peach whiskey with iced tea, and that was very refreshing. The place was very clean and the staff seemed happy. Service was a *little* slow, but maybe there was some stuff going on behind the scenes that they were kind enough to shield their patrons from. (Like maybe being short staffed) Overall nice experience and will be coming back again.

Driving by and stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. This place is very interesting! It's connected to a Motor Sports store. Plenty of seating and the place is very clean and wasn't too noisy. Our bartender was very nice and gave a few recommendations on the food as well. The food was pretty darn good. The menu is fairly large, so there is plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend the Hot Pepper Cheese bites as an appetizer. My only recommendation would be to make sure and provide silverware and napkins for the table.

Nachos half order

Fresh chips, lots of cheese, excellent nachos and large for a half order. Friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Nice place kind of out of the way but nice. I ordered a margarita, which was served in a mason jar but it was missing the saluted rim, who doesn't salt a rim? Usually I get ask "salt or sugar on the rim?" It was also very very sour. I ordered another drink, a martini but it comes with a shot of espresso but their expresso machine was broken so, I ordered "day at the beach" martini but they didn't have one ingredient so I ended up with sex on the beach. Why not remove them from the menu? The onion rings ere really good, I order them extra crispy, and the tatters were yummy too.

Great recommendation from my front desk clerk at the hotel. @trak_houz trakhouz bar and grille. Wings and fries. So basic and so good. The fries were crunchy and the spicy ranch dip added some zest. Wings were crunchy and juicy. Nice balance.

the order for pickup

This place do not eat at. Does not care about COVID, kitchen staff had no masks on. Called Manager after we walked out and he stated he didn't notice the employees were not wearing masks.

One Well Brewing is the kind of place that makes you think, "Yeah... I could probably just live…read morehere." The kids disappeared into the games so fast I briefly considered filing a missing persons report before realizing they were just... happy. As a parent, I experienced something I hadn't felt in years: finishing an entire meal while it was still warm. I almost cried. The pizza is offensively good. My cardiologist has specifically asked me not to be tagged in any more of my Yelp reviews, but if you're reading this, Steve... mind your own business. Some relationships are worth fighting for, and mine with this pizza is one of them. The beer was fantastic. Every pint tasted like it was brewed by someone who actually enjoys making beer instead of someone trying to impress a guy named Chad who owns three flannel shirts and says things like, "I'm getting notes of pine and emotional unavailability." The place is huge, which is exactly what every parent dreams of. The kids sprinted off to the games, the dog made about 47 new friends, and for a glorious 20 minutes nobody asked me to open a juice box, settle a courtroom-level dispute over whose turn it was, or inspect a mysterious object they found on the floor. I wasn't parenting anymore. I was just a guy eating incredible pizza in public. One Well somehow found the perfect balance between brewery, family hangout, dog park, and therapy session. I walked in stressed, left full, and briefly convinced myself I could handle having more kids. Thankfully that feeling wore off before I got to the parking lot

If you're looking for a swanky place to go in Kalamazoo, SkyDeck is your place. I always feel like…read morethe drinks are a good $2 more than the other bars in the Entertainment District, and there's only the 1 bar so you may have to wait if it's busy. Oh, but it's never been busy when I've gone. Background music was playing, and yes you can get a view of the city, but there's a lot of cranes and building going on now, and you're only really 7 stories up. I wish they'd move the smoking section (or get rid of it altogether) since you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the bathrooms...

Upon moving to Kalamazoo, Skydeck took somewhat of a mythical status in my mind. Who wouldn't want…read moreto live it up on the tallest bar in Kzoo? The fact that you can't see it's layout from the ground floor lends to the allure. All this is to say that I created a legend in my head that sadly wasn't true. Skydeck was interesting, fun for a night, and not much more. Perhaps it's for this reason that I gave it an average rating. But I also think that there were a few flaws regarding the space and I'll lay them out here. First and foremost, you pay a premium to be in this space, both in the form of a cover ($10, nothing insane) and an apparent tariff on the drinks (maybe it's handling fees for hauling it all up so high?). Either way, you should expect to be a bit gouged for cash. Not all of the drinks are insane, but mixed drinks are pricey, and some of their "signature" drinks top $12. Now, initially, this might seem like a fair trade: a bit extra for high quality drinks and a higher quality view. But here's the rub: it's a small space, it's packed, and the edge seats go first. For me and my group to enjoy the breathtaking view of Kalamazoo, we would have to stand or share tables. It's difficult to blame them for being popular. That being said, I don't really feel like we received the main feature of the venue. A friend of mine put it sagely: it's a great date spot, or celebration, but you don't go their to drink. You go there for the experience. Therefore, this won't become one of my "regular spots." Here are some positives to end on: -Amazing view of the city -Great ambiance, especially at night -Wonderful service -Elevator!
