I wrote this part of the review two years ago: I can see a place like this expanding very quickly. The customer service is so noteworthy I came here to write a review, which I seldom do. 9.7/10 The food is phenomenal. If not the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich I've had--it's at least in the top 3 nationwide You can tell the employees here actually care. The cashier literally RAN my order to me, while I stood out in the parking lot "tailgating" Watching the cooks, it's actually interesting to me how noticeable it is that they're invested in the quality of their work. Body language alone shows it. But the execution on this menu is genuinely perfect. If I owned this and was in the green, I'd be so thrilled with my crew. They do their job PERFECTLY. Today, I visited again-- same employee with the same great customer service brought my food out. I tried something new-- the rooster... and although they missed my caramelized onions-- this place provides such a great experience that I don't WANT to complain about it. The sandwich is fire, but I need some oniony balance for my sweet candied jalapeños. Good shit you guys. Please come open up shop down south of the state line. The gluten free experience we've needed! The chicken was exceptional, crispy and fresh. The staff was well versed in gluten free needs and as we were there with a Celiac we felt very safe eating the sandwiches and tots. The sauces all being gf was a huge plus! Today I tried the Sunrise Turbo tots. I added fried chicken, nashy style. Holy cow it was delicious! The tots are perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The fried egg was perfectly cooked and the house gravy is tasty. The chicken is crispy and so flavorful. The Nashville (nashy) seasoning has a nice kick to it. Not overwhelmingly spicy but definitely a good kick. I ordered a small which is pretty big. I can't wait to try other menu items. I have a feeling that this place will be come my new favorite spot. This place has been recommended to me for so long and I've finally caved! The service was great and answered all the questions I had! The chicken they had was amazing, I recommend for sure. Turbo Chicken is similar to Chick Fil A, but with a larger chicken piece...cooked to perfection, at the same price range. They are a small LOCAL business, with friendly staff. They are very clean. The menu is posted on the wall, (which was a little confusing, the first time) but the portion size, and the quality of the meal was good. This is a cosy spot, and we will be back. read more

Really great little chicken spot close by Kalamazoo airport! The chicken is crispy the staff is friendly and the tots are to die for. We are a big fan of tots and they had a lot of flavor options. We were driving from Chicago to Ann Arbor when we realized just how hungry we were. I opened up Yelp and did a quick search with the word spicy in it. This was one of the spots that came up as close by. It was conveniently located near the highway exit so we decided to check it out. The dining area is small with just a few tables. There is some fun artwork drawn on the wall and the menu is also posted. We we warmly greeted and told them it was our first time. I would highly recommend the totchos. The small was still big enough to share. They were well seasoned and something I would order on every visit. The chicken comes in a variety of preparations. I ordered the Korean style grilled. It was delicious but quite messy. I would order it again though. It has a nice little kick. The only downside is that everything is disposable even when dining in. That is a peeve of mine, especially if it is styrofoam or plastic single use packaging. This place is definitely worth checking out. read more

My guess is they had been sitting back there for a bit, and lacked the fresh, hot crunch good tots are known for. So this was really disappointing. The chicken was not fresh, it was not crispy or super hot so that is how I know. The chicken was moist and it was ok. I have had worse and I have had better. I just wished they cooked the strips fresh when I ordered them. The ranch dressing was fairly good tasted homemade. The malt was so so. I ordered one crispy chicken sandwich and one spicy to compare. I highly recommend the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It was juicy, big piece of meat and crispy. The bread to chicken ratio could be a little bit better because It felt like I had no bread to chicken. For a side I got the pasta salad, which was okay. I have tried mango drink on Indian week. It was so good, creamy and delicious. It tasted like ice cream. There was small pieces of dried mango on the top. Very nice to try. The service was courteous and prompt. They took extra care to ensure the chicken stayed crispy even when packed for takeout and included sauces. The place seemed very dirty, with sticky tables and a general lack of cleanliness. There was also an odd smell in the restaurant, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Tried this place a few weeks back and really loved what we got! Husband ordered their kimchi chicken sandwich and their tenders with blue cheese dressing. I ordered the chicken wrap, which was seriously delicious! (I want it again!) Their signage was beautifully designed and eye catching! All protocols were in place, very important. Yum! Ordered combo 2, which came with two tenders, tots, choice of sauce, and house gravy. Both tots and tenders are well seasoned, and I was lucky enough to get them right when they came out of the fryer. Both stayed crispy enough until I got home. The tenders are huge! Really hot and juicy inside and goes well with the house gravy, which is a thick white gravy. Kitchen seem to have minor hiccups (didn't get gravy in mine but car snacking has its perks! It was juicy, crispy, peppery and I loved the homemade pickles. The Tennessee Tots were so good they have ruined all other tot experiences, past and future. And then I had a shake. Ice cream is my favorite food group and the Buckeye shake of the week did not disappoint. The real question is ... does Guy Fieri know about this place?
