I actually got a free pass from Dallasites 101 to come here. I had no idea what was going to happen in the class.
The registration prices was easy. I just went to their website, Registered, And was able to sign up for a class.
I needed the latest class possible because i don't get out of work until late. The latest class they offered in a Thursday is 6:30, so i picked that one. It was the Bondi Burn.
The studio is nestled in a hot spot in uptown! A lot of business, plenty of parking, safe neighborhood.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who literally checked us in in 5 seconds, then she gave us a full tour while we waited for our class to start. She was so friendly!
The storefront is in the smaller side but the studio is very large, which is what counts. This location has one exercise room, women's bathrooms and mens bathrooms.
Now for the class experience! The host let our trainer, Ethan, came to look for us and to introduce himself. Once in the class he quickly explained the process of the workout. Once all participants entered, went through it again with more detail. He introduced us to the entire class and everyone clapped for us as a welcome!
I learned bondi burn was a arm workout class, so all we did was arms. I actually liked the layout of the class -45 seconds of station 1, rotate, 45 seconds of station 2, rotate, 45 seconds of exercise 3, then start again. This was for 3 rotations. Next you would go to three completely different exercises and do the rotation. This was done 3 complete times. I loved it so much! 45 seconds was perfect to make my muscle work without it being overwhelming to where i stop from exhaustion! I all lay liked the fact that a wide variety of weights were placed as options. My triceps can only handle 10 lbs, while my biceps can do 25 hahaha.
The end of the class was great also. Ethan continued to highlight us throughout the session, and thanked us for coming as first timers, and again, the entire class clapped again for us! We definitely felt welcome! It's also cool that everyone is so friendly and we're chatting after the class. They really do have a great community, and staff is so friendly.
Overall the exercise was great! My arms are sore today (class was last night), but what i was most impressed by was the staff -the host seemed like she was just was of my friends. Ethan constantly acknowledged us throughout the exercise, literally called me by my name every single time from start to end. We will definitely come back again! read more
