Went to Barry's for the first time and I see why everyone loves this place. The staff at the front was really friendly; they made me feel welcomed, and checked me in quickly. I got an amazing workout in. I did the Run X Lift class. I usually don't sweat that much but my instructor, Sydney G, had us WORKING. She was great! The energy and intensity was definitely there with the music and her providing constant instructions. I do have to admit that the way the instructions were presented were hard to follow for a newbie, but for regulars, they seemed to know exactly what to do. The equipment was nice and appeared to be clean. I felt really good and accomplished when I left.

Great facility and great instructors. I've taken classes at multiple studios. I stopped in for a morning class on a wintry, ice storm day, as other studios and gyms had closed due to weather. Located in the West Village area. I took a Run x Full body class with lower body focus with Meghan. Meghan has great energy and will challenge you throughout class! Loved her vibes. In general, I absolutely hate treadmill running, so that was the worst parts of class. Compared to other HIIT classes I have taken in Dallas, I felt that this class was very fast-paced. It can be good for those who just want to get a workout in and be out, but I like classes in which I can be present in each movement, focusing on the muscles I am engaging through each movement. It's hard to do in a fast-paced setting, I understand, but that's just my preference. The facility is wonderful - has high-quality skincare and hair products. The showers have good water pressure, and the restroom area has good mirror lighting. The lockers are decently sized as well, for those of us who like to bring a change of clothes. There is a parking garage next to the building where Barry's is located.

I've done a few Barry's classes here and there, and they are always KILLER. Truly, one of the best workout classes in Dallas and I am a workout class connoisseur. The classes incorporate weights as well as sprints so it's the perfect blend for toning and gaining muscle or losing weight depending on your diet and goals. I try to get into Kelly B's classes if possible but have a good experience with every instructor. My main reason for posting the review isn't necessarily the classes, but the Fuel Bar post workout. Umm, if you haven't tried it - do yourself a favor and go get a Barry's N' Brunch (you don't have to be attending a class to grab a quick shake) Skip the smoothie king and come here! Better ingredients, cut the added sugar and you can add a "bulk up" if you're looking for some extra protein or l-glutamine in your shake. Check it out when you can

HORRENDOUS staff from Sydney and Samantha. Absolutely unbearable. Could be the best gym possible and those 2 employees ruin it.

I really enjoy coming here but I wish the classes were more reasonably priced or less classpass points compared to other Dallas gyms.

I came in this week. John-Michael was amazing! Such a good coach and full of energy. I like the cardio + weight combo and the red lights.

This place will kick your @ss. I've done a lot of local gyms while traveling, but Barry's has become home in Dallas.

The program creates workouts that are never the same each day so if you're like me who gets bored with doing the same exact routine every day then this is a workout for you. This location offers classes that start as early as 530am, 630am, 10am, 530pm and 630pm. On Fridays their latest class is at 530pm and Saturdays they only have 930am and 1130am classes with a DJ present to get the people going. Each class is scheduled for 45minutes. They start out the class with the trainers demonstrating each station. But they also have three TVs that will also have someone showing you what to do at the station so you don't have to memorize what each station is. Then, after the demonstration everyone faces the TVs to follow the warm up moves. At this time, trainers will walk around to give you a station number where you will start your workout after you finish warming up. If you don't get sweaty after a F45 workout, you're not challenging yourself enough. And last but not least, as to why I commit to going every day is because of the trainers. I've tried different gyms/ workout classes but the dedication and motivation that the trainers bring to class every day is inspirational. So whether you're an athlete or someone going to the gym for the very first time, they make you feel comfortable and are truly engaging throughout the classes. They will even do it with you! If you're in the Victory Park/Uptown location, it doesn't hurt to try F45. They offer a free 7 day trial so you can get a taste of what it's like.

They constantly walk around and encourage you & help you on your form (so important!), but also will leave you alone if you want. It is the best workout class I've taken in a long time. I've been on ClassPass for over two years, and have already started seeing results with a couple of weeks of F45 Training. It's basically like personal training, but with a group of people. Tuesdays Thursdays are weight days, and Monday, Wednesday, Fridays are cardio days. Saturday and Sunday are a mix. Because every class is different for your body you can go every day and be successful. There are all different levels of physically fit people in class. Because there are so many weight options you can go if you are extremely physically fit and be challenged, or if you are just new to working out-and get the same challenge, but right for you.

The fun tabata-style circuit is changed out daily and focuses on different body types 3. It's an all-level workout so you make it as challenging as you want and let's face it some days I don't feel like doing it but that brings me to this next... 4. It's only 30 ish minutes! I haven't had to use it yet, but there is a key fob system that allows members to come workout during non-staffed hours. Firmly team no kids, but they also have a little kids area to sit your kiddo. Their Spin & Circuit training classes are excellent too, and every class has a healthy mix of beginners and seasoned athletes alike. I am a true beginner and have never felt out of place.
