It feels like they continue adding new members even though the gym is already packed no matter the day or time you go. It can make workouts frustrating and difficult to fully enjoy. One thing I also didn't appreciate was the constant news channels playing in the cardio room. Many people go to the gym to de-stress and take a break from world events, so having news on all the TVs takes away from that atmosphere. Most gyms usually play sports or music instead. If news channels are going to be shown, it would be better to include a variety of viewpoints rather than only one-sided coverage. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving the gym for several reasons. Another frustrating experience was the cancellation process. Even after going in person and signing the cancellation paperwork, my card continued to be charged, and it was not easy getting the membership properly canceled.

They do not…read moreprovide true yoga classes as I have experienced them, this is NOT a true yoga studio, this is a yoga mill, cheap corporate "yoga". I think for $124.00 a month, the instructors should go through the class with us, instead, they just walk around spouting a memorized script that NEVER changes. They also have classes with NO instructors, only audio. I could easily do this at home via Youtube (again, for $124 a month!). There is no yoga music, the studio does not convey a "yoga" feeling, it's a sterile environment, and some of the workers are rude. So it's essentially a cold experience. At least for me. I did the 30-day trial, going through several different types of classes they offer, and decided it wasn't for me, but they auto-drafted on the last day of your trial, so be quick to cancel!!! I missed the window and they grabbed my money. I feel this is predatory because they will not refund ANYTHING, they just point to the rules. Also, they don't answer the phone no matter how many times you call all day long. Avoid Sunstone, there are better/real yoga studios out there. I didn't enjoy it, but they can enjoy my monetary contribution.

They've also recently changed the layout to accommodate for the different types of workouts. I've been a member of the YMCA, 24 hour fitness and Planet Fitness and this location offers ample floor space for ppl to simply stretch and/or do core workouts in lieu of having to navigate around equipment and/or infringing on a class like at the Y. I value things like that. They also offer different variations of leg, core, upper body strength training equipment so you don't have to constantly wait for machines like I've found at other locations. Now this may happen from time to time during peak hours but Ive found that the mornings it is a good crowd but not overwhelming. Women's locker area and bathrooms are clean. I wish they had saunas but there's not much more I would change, especially at this great price point! I did take off a point because outside of the app and/or occasional notes on the door, there's been times the gym has closed for emergencies which is an inconvenience when I'm not notified. Wish there was something they could send through the app??? In any case, I like PF and would recommend them.

Given that I had already paid $10 per month for over a year for a service I was unable to use, I reached out to request a refund or some form of consideration. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to help in any way. When I called the local location, I only received what felt like a scripted response rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the situation. If and when my health improves, I'm honestly not sure I'd feel comfortable providing them my account information again.

Cleanliness in the restrooms. I get it, gym restroom, but put splatter eliminating pads in the urinals and pads on the floor. These won't break the bank, but will make a huge difference. I had some lower back issues developing and knew that exercising would help greatly. I had heard things both good and bad about CrossFit over the years and didn't quite know what to expect. Immediately Brandon put my mind at ease during orientation. All of the coaches really care, and they pay special attention if anyone has any injuries. They help modify any workout to make sure you grow in strength but keep sound mechanics the entire time. This is not a CrossFit gym where everything is hyper competitive and injuries abound. Rather, this is a gym where you will get stronger, enjoy camaraderie with others, and be encouraged to compare to your past performance not others. CrossFit Heath has turned out to be a real blessing in my life and I'm super thankful to have found it when I did.

I know I did... It never worked. My plan this time was to go for a private training that will help me do it right and keep me accountable. A friend suggested CrossFit Heath and I decided to give it a try. I heard a lot of negative feedback about CrossFit being too competitive and prone to injury... My experience is very different - The staff is Super Professional, the emphasis is on mechanics and correct movement and they will really not push you (or allow you) to go past your technical skills. The groups are small (5-12 people in a class) so it is basically a private training. In my 3-4 months at the GYM I don't think I've yet to do the same exercise twice, each day is different. The community is awesome, and if you don't come in too many days I a row, you will likely to get a friendly call from a coach or member. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this gym more! This is the first time in my life I am happy to go 3-4 times a week and I honestly miss it if I dont.
