The workouts are intense but scaled to each individual so everyone can do a Crossfit workout. The coaches at CFR are fantastic. They are all certified and really understand how to help each person do the best they can without pushing beyond what is safe. I have never been as fit as I am today and I am more motivated than I was the first day I walked in the door. Today, just about every workout facility follows a Crossfit type program, functional fitness, interval training etc. The difference with Crossfit and especially Crossfit Rockwall is the community. The people at CFR are fantastic, very supportive and make it something you look forward to. If you are looking for a place that will really make a difference in your fitness, this is it. It feels like they continue adding new members even though the gym is already packed no matter the day or time you go. It can make workouts frustrating and difficult to fully enjoy. One thing I also didn't appreciate was the constant news channels playing in the cardio room. Many people go to the gym to de-stress and take a break from world events, so having news on all the TVs takes away from that atmosphere. Most gyms usually play sports or music instead. If news channels are going to be shown, it would be better to include a variety of viewpoints rather than only one-sided coverage. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving the gym for several reasons. Another frustrating experience was the cancellation process. Even after going in person and signing the cancellation paperwork, my card continued to be charged, and it was not easy getting the membership properly canceled.

They've also recently changed the layout to accommodate for the different types of workouts. I've been a member of the YMCA, 24 hour fitness and Planet Fitness and this location offers ample floor space for ppl to simply stretch and/or do core workouts in lieu of having to navigate around equipment and/or infringing on a class like at the Y. I value things like that. They also offer different variations of leg, core, upper body strength training equipment so you don't have to constantly wait for machines like I've found at other locations. Now this may happen from time to time during peak hours but Ive found that the mornings it is a good crowd but not overwhelming. Women's locker area and bathrooms are clean. I wish they had saunas but there's not much more I would change, especially at this great price point! I did take off a point because outside of the app and/or occasional notes on the door, there's been times the gym has closed for emergencies which is an inconvenience when I'm not notified. Wish there was something they could send through the app??? In any case, I like PF and would recommend them.

When an unexpected annual charge appeared--with no prior notice--I cancelled my membership the same day. Given that I had already paid $10 per month for over a year for a service I was unable to use, I reached out to request a refund or some form of consideration. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to help in any way. When I called the local location, I only received what felt like a scripted response rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the situation. If and when my health improves, I'm honestly not sure I'd feel comfortable providing them my account information again.

I had to go in to "sign my paper work" in order to cancel my membership and ended up leaving without a resolution. She then decided to called me afterward to 'be nice'--but honestly, it came off as forced and insincere. It only took about 15 seconds for her facade to wear off during that call. Aside from today's communication, I've had multiple interactions with her over the phone, and each time she was just as dismissive and unpleasant. Customer service is key, and unfortunately, Natalie completely failed in this regard. I won't be returning. Stacy, the owner, on the other hand was able to help rectify my situation.

It's 2024 it's absurd to have to call off work (she doesn't work weekends and the odd hours she works are between 9-5) to drive here to cancel a gym membership. I'm actually going to the BBB to report them for deceptive practices as it seems they are hoping to continue billing you by making it impossible to cancel. Ridiculous.
