I love that there's plenty of parking. I don't have too hard of a time getting onto a machine but can be busy after 5 PM. It's also impressively clean. There is a referral program so definitely take advantage of that! The employees are very friendly and helpful. I believe they are open until 11 PM most days which works for me. They have a workout recovery tool where the weights are so that's a perk. It's pretty straightforward and kinda small compared to other gyms, but I think it's pretty good value.

I canceled my membership approximately two months ago and joined another gym because management…read morerepeatedly failed to address what I believe was a serious and ongoing safety concern: excessively loud, concert-level music being played from opening to closing. This was not an occasional issue. The volume was consistently overwhelming, and my phone regularly measured levels above 110 decibels. It often felt less like a fitness facility and more like being in the front row at a rock everyday cofor 70 mins at a time. I personally saw members covering their ears, and numerous members expressed the same concern. Even high-end noise-canceling headphones did not make the environment tolerable. Despite repeated requests and emails asking management to lower the music to a reasonable level, my concerns were ignored. A fitness facility has a responsibility to provide a safe, professional, and comfortable environment for its members. When management receives repeated complaints about excessive noise and chooses not to act, it reflects a serious lack of concern for member well-being. I do want to recognize one Saturday staff member who was consistently professional, respectful, and helpful. Unfortunately, that level of service was the exception, not the standard. Ultimately, I took my business elsewhere. My new gym provides a much more professional atmosphere where members can exercise without being subjected to unnecessarily excessive noise. Management at this location would be wise to take member feedback seriously before more customers decide to leave. As a business owner to another I would rid of people who don't value my company now look at my legs press

That's exactly why it's so frustrating to see a gym marketed as a premium facility have this many ongoing maintenance and management issues. The steam room has been out of service what feels like every other week. It appears to finally be fixed now, but given the history, we'll see how long that lasts. Several lockers have damaged or detached hinges that can literally snag, cut, or leave grease on your clothes when you hang things inside. Gym equipment breaks and can stay broken for weeks, sometimes close to a month. Whenever these issues are brought to management, the response is almost always some version of, "We're aware of it, we're waiting on corporate." At some point, that stops being an explanation. The back extension machine was also moved into the middle of the gym, where it now seems to get no use. When members complained, we were told its previous location was a fire hazard. That explanation is difficult to take seriously. The room has three exits, and the machine was not obstructing an exit path. I'm familiar enough with fire-code requirements to know that simply calling something a "fire hazard" doesn't make the explanation convincing. Parking deserves its own paragraph. The system constantly has problems. Gates malfunction, sections occasionally close, and the payment machines sometimes refuse to read credit cards. Getting stuck trying to leave a parking structure after a workout because the equipment doesn't work is ridiculous. But the biggest issue is the air conditioning. For a significant part of the summer, the AC was barely functioning. I'm writing this review while sitting inside the gym right now. There are probably around 30 people here, and the temperature easily feels above 80°F with almost no airflow. That is not an exaggeration. In a facility where people are exercising intensely, proper ventilation and temperature control should be one of the most basic operational requirements. None of these complaints are about the staff. I actually like the employees here, and that's part of the reason I continue coming. The problem appears to be maintenance, facility management, and/or corporate support. A premium gym should not routinely have broken machines, damaged lockers, unreliable parking equipment, steam-room failures, and most importantly inadequate air conditioning. Members are paying premium prices. The facility should be maintained to a premium standard. Management already seems to be "aware" of most of these problems. What we need at this point isn't another acknowledgment. We need them fixed.

If you add the fact that you might have an injury or are a bit older, you must be very careful with your body. I called Sage and was determined to change my ways. I was so lucky that he introduced me to Elvis. Elvis, not only taught me how to correctly move my body, but also gave me the confidence to work out on my own on the days I wasn't working out with him. I am now confident when I walk into a gym. I feel stronger and healthier and dare I say, see my self as one who like to exercise.

I returned recently for a Pilates reformer class and had a great experience. The studio is still new and the reformers are in great condition. The decor is cute and motivating! I like how there's mirrors on both sides of the reformers, so no matter what position you're in, you can see yourself well. The teacher went around and offered assistance and adjustments as needed. The class felt very accessible to students of all levels. I found the moves to be challenging yet doable and it's been a few months since I've done a reformer class! The instruction was very clear and helpful. The studio is located on a busy street but there was still ample parking available on a Sunday morning when I came. There's even a couch there to relax before or after your class and plenty of cubbies to store your belongings. I hope to return soon to take another class here next time I'm in the area!

I respect studio policies, but the way the situation was handled immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, the class itself was equally disappointing. The pace was extremely slow, there were long pauses between exercises, and much of the session felt like resting rather than working out. At one point, a participant actually put on a sweatshirt during class because the workout was so low intensity. To make matters worse, the class ended about four minutes early despite already feeling far less active than a typical Pilates session. What bothered me most was the complete lack of engagement. Lola never corrected my form, never checked my technique, never interacted with me, and made no effort to create a welcoming environment after our initial disagreement. I spent 45 minutes feeling ignored. Not even a simple goodbye when I left. I've taken many Pilates classes, and this was the first time I walked out feeling unwelcome, underworked, and disappointed all at once.

This one was nice; enjoyed the free parking and all the amenities all the other ones have, like showers, but it is not top tier. Machines are broken; some have signs that don't work. There's also a lack of other machines that are more obvious in other locations; it seems like they only carry the basic machines, which is fine if you want a simple workout, but there's very little variety here. The palm desert location is small as well but has more variety than this one. I do like the privacy, though; it is not as crazy or chaotic as other gyms. Coming in at 9 pm on a Tuesday was great; there were only about 4 other people here, which I loved. The other well known gyms are busy and filled with chaotic, judgmental people. In this one, everyone was just there for a workout. Small gyms and higher price points do tend to keep all the $10 membership people away, which makes a big difference in gyms. So far in my return back to LA, I am in search of a great Anytime Fitness location, and there are others in the San Fernando Valley I need to check out. I may come here once in a while, but I do need to see what else is out there. I just feel like something is missing here.

Located on Colorado Street on the corner intersection with Louise Street, parallel from Glendale Central Park. You can enjoy this little big location any day of the week with key fob access. They offer a 1 day free trial membership, that I wish was more like 3 to 5 days, but a win is a win! All the cardio equipment is in front with a great view of the street and local Glendale life. Some of the bikes and non treadmills can feel a little mushed together, but they do utilize all the space the best way they can. Restrooms and Showers are tip top, with crazy amazing water pressure. Some cubby holes and lock boxes to store your belongings. Parking is easy in their private lot, however it is limited. It's only a blockish from the the Americana and two from the Glendale Galleria. My boyfriend doesn't live far from here at all, so it's an Anytime I hope to revisit a little more getting back into the swing of being more active. Studio is really nice for free use if no classes are happening. I'm not a full member again yet, so I can't speak to all the policies that have been updated, but with the exception of less amenities and locations Anytime Fitness is exactly what it promises and this one in Glendale is one I appreciate.
