Amazing gym! Been boxing for many years and as I've gotten older I've wanted a spot that has flexibility so I'm not pushed to spar or get injured. This place has it all. Fitness classes, open gym, strength training, skill building. Depending on my mood and physical condition I can cater a class to meet it. Staff is super friendly and engaging. Members are great. Been going here for over a year and throughout that time I have kept getting pushed to keep going and exceeding my limits. About two years ago, I took classes at Crowned Boxing during my winter break from my clinical rotations. Once I returned to California, I planned on rejoining again but unfortunately I tore my ACL. I recently got cleared to return to boxing so of course I decided to come back to Crowned Boxing. This last year has been extremely difficult to get back into things due to my injury but within the last couple weeks I have noticed my leg is stronger and I have increased my range of motion which has been on of the most difficult parts of my journey. The reason I returned to Crowned Boxing is because they are so welcoming and sweet. most importantly they create a community among their members. I love that the gym is always clean as well. Rich and Jade have always been great and they always take the time to check in and see how you're doing. Andrew has the best personality and it super friendly. His classes are tough but he always makes them fun. Corey has really been great especially with giving me with advice on my knee. Not only has he helped me get stronger but he has helped me with the mental block that comes with injuries. Coach Fernando is a new coach and he fits right in ! he is attentive and helpful. His class was tough but he is sweet and you can tell he enjoys what he does. I'm fairly new to Crowned but I'm so beyond impressed with how welcoming this team and the members are. Every single person at Crowned has an upbeat attitude and it's very much appreciated. Gyms can be notoriously intimidating so it's nice to find a place that has the opposite effect. I find myself actually excited and wanting to go to the gym, which is unheard of for me lol. I've mostly taken Coach Rich's classes and I've enjoyed them so much. He's GREAT at juggling everyone in his classes and giving his undivided attention to us even in a group setting. He also never fails to give encouragement to everyone which is awesome. I've only had the pleasure of joining the Crowned Run Club once so far but Coach Andrew left a huge impression on me for being so positive and lighthearted. An honorable mention is Jade, the most warm and cheery person I've met in a long time. She really sets the tone for the experience you'll have at Crowned from the second you walk in the doors. She always greets you with a smile and is beyond helpful whenever you need her. Another important thing to mention is that this gym is always clean and organized. I joined this gym/class/studio at first out of convenience of location to my home, but the minute I felt the warmth and energy of the ppl who work here, it was a win. I need sometimes a workout that is HIIT that can be done in 45 mins and this is the perfect spot for that. Lots of classes through the week you can choose. The ladies class is the hardest lol, Coach Ebony will deliver if you want to be sore They have a kids program and class but the nicest thing is my kid is welcome here while I workout, that is huge! Gyms don't offer that anymore. Also it's not necessarily a full gym but they are also a gym lol, they have all the equipment you need to workout and it's nice because it's not crowded because it's private. It's a boxing exercise studio for beginner friendly folks. You don't need to be a pro or familiar at all, you wanna sweat and release stress, this is where you do it. I have come to love hitting a bag, but this community has been the biggest gift to me this year. They host monthly get togethers and challenges, and they treat you like family. I hope it grows and continues to thrive, I don't know what I would do without it! You're looking at paying a premium monthly for unlimited for about 130-150/month but honestly it's sooo worth it. Overall, a great experience these last 2 years. Would have easily been 5 stars 6 months ago, but a few things have changed that make me feel like the "value for money" is slightly lower than what it once was. Pros: incredible core team (Rich, Corey, Ebony, Jade, etc.), great facility, usually plenty of boxing bags, friendly people to train with, great for beginners/intermediate/advanced Cons: looks like Carlos left, which kinda sucks since he always brought a positive attitude and was very personable, could use some different style of classes outside of the core "fitness," "intermediate/advanced" and "ladies only" ones (e.g., one class occasionally solely focused on blocking or learning different punches, etc.), 4 classes used to cost $85 but are now $108 (27% increase), classes used to not expire but now do (this was a nice benefit for me with an infant as it allowed me flexibility to not have to force myself to use classes within a 60 day time period given my crazy schedule) read more

I started my boxing journey as a beginner and now have been coming to Crowned Boxing for 6 months and have loved every bit of it. I've tried out multiple boxing gyms in addition and Crowned is still the cleanest and best maintained boxing gym by FAR. I sweat a LOT and it's so nice that they mop my sweat off the floor often haha. Crowned has multiple classes during multiple hours of the day, so it fits into my schedule easily. I love both the boxing fitness class where you train on the heavy bag and also the advanced class where you get to do sparring drills with a partner. The coaches are very knowledgeable and will take the time to correct your technique. They will gladly help you if asked! I also love that they provide COLD bottled water during classes, it's a life saver when you have a break in between sessions. I've burned fat while maintaining my muscle mass all while improving my cardio. And of course my boxing technique has improved significantly! The facility is top notch. The quality of the heavy bag, speed bag, reflex bag, weights, bench, squat rack, etc. are all well maintained, high quality, very new equipment. I've been looking for a boxing gym for a while now and have never been so happy to find a gym like Crowned Boxing! It's been almost two months since I became a member and have had a great experience so far. The coaches, Rich (the owner), Ebony, and Corey, as well as the studio manager, Jade, have all been so welcoming and friendly. They're always willing to help and answer any questions that you may have before, during, or after the class. Each class also really focuses on fundamentals which is essential in boxing, so you always learn how to get better in addition to the cardio endurance and strength that you gain from the workouts.
