Solid Gaslamp spot with great vibes. Went during Halloween so it was crazy packed but have heard good things about the place. Drinks are reasonably priced for Gaslamp and the ambiance and setup of this place are fun as well. Renting out a trailer for a group sounds like fun

What a hidden gem in the Gaslamp! My friends and I went to a horrible Halloween pop-up bar and decided to head over to Trailer Park After Dark instead -- best decision ever. We had so much fun! They did an awesome job with their Halloween decorations (and the decor in general). There was a costume contest and trivia that night, which made it even better. Your beer comes in a paper bag, and the bar stools are shopping carts -- such a fun and creative vibe all around!

So much fun! The bartender was great. She was so quick with drinks and food. Drinks were fun and tasty. Food was really good. We enjoyed the atmosphere, staff, and food. This is our 3rd time in two years when visiting SD.

Super fun place! We went for a friend's birthday party where we had our own trailer and "yard" space. The employees were incredible, they were on top of it coming in every few minutes to take orders, clean up, take away empties, check in on everyone. The yard games were fun and we really appreciated having a big fan we could control. The decor is super fun and we also appreciated the nice clean bathrooms for bar standards.

Took over a trailer with a bachelor party and loved every minute. Cheap drinks, cheap decor, world-class service.

Little hard to find using the maps, you actually enter from 5th Ave. we walked in and it's super cool down there! The trailers, shopping carts as chairs definitely a trailer park vibe lol. The drinks all have interesting names, the bartender was very nice and attentive. We sat in one of the trailers you feel like you are in your gma's living room with the plastic covered furniture. They have Jenga, beer pong and on the way out we saw an old school Nintendo. Definitely a must see atleast once!

I give this 6 shotgun shells outta 5. Mother of all that is holy: you GOTTA party here. I started with the name, then the atmosphere, then the booze... what a good time! Every foo-foo drink we Had was Damn good. The beer menu called us in ($5 Mickey's big mouths and others) and we couldn't stop changing our minds on the drinks we did want. So we drank a bunch. Never ordered food. Too much fun drinkin, "no Karen's", "Willie don't's ...." And the like. Look at the menu... and tell me you ain't gunna have a couple drinks

I wanted to really like this place I love the concept of it all . So cool trailer park theme . We sat at the bar the drinks are pretty basic I was not a fan . To rent the trailers u have to pay a fee and have multiple people with you to make the fee more affordable. The place did look cute inside but not what I expected. I can't rate the food I did not have any . We had one drink and took off we did not feel the vibes there . It's just my opinion . I would maybe make the trailers more accessible and make better drinks .

I did not get the pleasure to try the food here. We just came to check it out. Hubby wanted to go to one of the bars underground. Well this is the best one to have picked. It was so cute and trailer park themed. Everything went with the theme. We loved it such a fun time.

Delicious Pretzel bites and condiments and utensils served up in a tackle box!

Do they have any booths that are not $200?

Do they check if at the entrance or when you sit down and order drinks?

Our kitchen is open until last call because of COVID therefore we allow underage up until close. Therefore even if security checks your ID, the server/bartender will ask to see your ID as well.

Are there cover charges on Saturdays?

I've never paid a cover but there may be a line. And may be a cover for special events.

What type of music do they play there?

80s, classic rock

What's the parking like here?

No free parking. Uber or pay to park.

Has anyone had a party in the 80's Trailer? Why is it so hard to find a picture of it? Is it central to the action or off in a corner?

Not sure which one is the 80s trailer. I saw two trailers and they were both on either side of the restaurant. Not away from the action at all. One looked pretty small and had a couch and I believe some sort a table inside it. The other one was… Read more

Yes before 9pm.

Is this place dog friendly?

No. Please be sanitary and leave animals at home.

Are kids allowed?

Despite information to the contrary, miners are always allowed, as long as they are of legal drinking age. Great place to come after a long day in the mines.

Is there live music?

I haven't seen anything about a band but there was a DJ when I went one weekend

How do you reserve a camper? Getting radio silence via phone and email.

A prior review says they received email communication within 24 hours. I've never personally tried though.

After 9pm, no one under 21 is allowed in because it's a bar.

I knew it was a speakeasy but he did not. I was trying to double-check on my phone that Craft & Commerce was the right restaurant its housed in (yes) when he tried to jet set off down the block "to keep looking" rather than listen to me. I yelled, "MOTHER!" by accident and then he did truly leave me hahaha. He resurfaced a few minutes later, and then we walked in. It was 5:15 at the time, so 15 minutes after opening. I had NO IDEA how popular this spot was, nor anything about its nation-wide reputation. I actually didn't know that until two days ago when a Yelp-friend at home here in Richmond, Virginia, exclaimed excitedly when I told her we stopped in. The host who greeted us was kind, informed us there had been a line to get in that day, but that they had one barrel left; we jumped on it of course. It was happy hour, so the first cocktail I ordered was dirt cheap at $9. It was the Imperial Hawaiian with gin, rum, lemon, pineapple, and orgeat. I really shouldn't have ordered a second drink after that one, but I did have the classic Saturn later on in the night and it was absurdly good! Definitely my favorite of the two. The moody tiki vibe was so cool and fun. They even had frogs you could play on the tables. We had some fun neighbors too, which livened up the experience even more. We had a great time and both walked out heavily buzzed. We were asleep by 8 that night, but it was worth it!

Once inside seating is first come first served so the place is insanely crowded with people trying to get drinks. Service is a little confusing as the waiters will come up to you with a menu asking for your order instead of an order at the bar type of thing. Once we actually got a seat things were okay. The menu is mostly rum drinks since this is a rum bar however since I'm not the biggest fan I ordered the only thing with tequila on the menu. My drink was actually really good, it was refreshing, not too sweet or strong at all. I just wish there would be more variety.
