The usual Joe with the good and simple selection well.above average overall. Tidy and Aldi sized that gets wildly busy on weekends. I enjoy the beer brews which bring in some unusual stuff that always feeds the mood. Staff is extremely enjoyable as always!

I was passing through town and needed to do a quick drive by to refill my supply of my favorite salads. With the large parking lot area that they have I was able to park immediately right in front of their entrance and literally go in and out of the store within 10 minutes. I pulled up. Got parking right away. Hopped into get my favorite salads including: -Chicken Chopped Salad -Lemon Chicken & Arugula Salad -Brocolli Slaw & Kale Salad with White Chicken Meat 10 minute grocery shopping experience is an A+ experience for me!

Trader Joe's has the best selection of roses for $10 a bouquet!

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's?! The food is great but this review is for the flowers! I love love love the quality of the flowers here. My new favorite is the COUNTRY ROSES. I haven't seen anything like them before. They are a little more frilly and I think they are so unique. They get a new case every day. So cool! Just like their regular roses, the bunches are $9.99. The SPRAY ROSES are always a great bargain. Totally worth it and so cute! I love that they are just as beautiful as the regular size bouquets. Employees are always nice and helpful! I really appreciate that!

The only reason why I came here was because it was the closest on my way home; and nonetheless it's very near the freeway. WIN!! It's in the same plaza as Walgreens so parking (like always) can be hectic. Once inside, I love that it is very spacious and the items are well stocked.

When we visit our daughters in Glendale, we walk to this Trader Joes! Since we're from Honolulu and there is none, we come here all the time! I love the nice, firm yellow bananas for $.19 each! There is always such a good selection that it is always easy to find a nice bunch! The fruits and produce are so clean and fresh! This is also true of the flowers and plants! They have such a huge variety to choose from that are so inexpensive that I want to buy them all! Or at least one of each! If you need a hostess, birthday or any gift, go here to find a beautiful one! By the way, they have a nice selection of cards: birthday, get well, sympathy, etc. Just $.99 each! What a deal! The nuts and dried fruit along with the chocolates and cookies are so yummy! Perfect for.gifts to bring home! Everyone in Honolulu loves getting these gifts! Check out the beverages: small bottles of water, French Market Sparkling Berry Lemonade & Wines (Mark West Pinot Noir 2022). Baked Goods galore! So fresh! Always get the black and white cookies and the chocolate babka! Be sure to check it out and know that seasonal items disappear quickly!

It's safe to say that when visiting the mainland Trader Joe's is the place to be. We love TJ and here in Cali, we knew we had to stop over here to grab some goodies to bring back home. My personal favorite is the Meyer Lemon Thin cookies. Grabbed new holiday favorites for our friends and family back home of which we can't wait to try! Very exciting to be in this store. The service is great and friendly and the store was nice and clean with shelves organized but they were out of some of the items that we loved. Overall Thanks for another great TJ experience. We may just have to move up here so that we can enjoy it more often

Trader has the best frozen selections.

Made with quality flour and baked fresh hourly, they are usually served hot from the oven, and I can't resist eating 1/4 of it before I get home. The fresh cut flowers and plants welcome you into this Armenian market, with tall, vibrant roses unlike those found at most florists. Big Square also offers a solid selection of produce, meats, pastres, alcohol, and other goods. Specialty items like Armenian coffee, unique condiments, and hard to find deli products are always available. For meat products, they have frozen quail, which is usually difficult to find... however, I have never been a fan of their other meat items. The one time I purchased shank and liver, it wasn't as fresh and of quality I anticipated. Parking can at times be difficult and drivers are a bit aggressive. I suggest shopping here during slow hours vs. peak times.

My family…read moreand I have shopped at this store for years and have spent thousands of dollars here, as I'm sure many other local residents have. This is also the busiest store in the area, so professionalism really matters. Unfortunately, I've witnessed repeated behavior from this manager that is completely unacceptable. I've seen her yell at middle school-aged kids at the front of the store, right outside the Ralphs entrance, with no self-control and no professionalism. I've also seen her belittle employees--speaking to them as if they were toddlers rather than adults--and I once saw an employee sitting outside almost in tears due to how they were treated or accused. On another occasion, she was yelling at a mentally ill individual outside the entrance, which again was highly unprofessional. Employees also seem genuinely afraid to speak up or push back against her behavior. From what I've observed, she appears to abuse her position of authority and manipulate situations in her favor, creating a work environment where staff feel intimidated rather than supported. She regularly accuses people of shoplifting without clear proof, often based solely on her own assumptions. Her attitude is extremely condescending, and she seems to pick and choose which customers she feels deserve customer service. That is not how a manager should behave. What's most frustrating is that when concerns are brought to other managers, they appear dismissive and brush them off, as if management simply protects one another regardless of behavior. This creates the impression that there are no consequences. Some of the Employees at this Store are Great and consistently provide excellent customer service and professionalism. That is the standard all managers should be held to. Sadly, this particular manager is a liability to Ralphs, and it's disappointing that the company doesn't seem to recognize it.

On the contrary, the service has always been high, even better than in many other stores. As for the manager Lilit, I can only speak positively about her. From my personal experience of communicating with her, I can say that she has a high level of professionalism, and it is unacceptable to offend someone on a personal level. I have personally seen her benevolent approach to each customer. Although problems can arise in any store, this is not a sufficient reason to offend or treat a person disrespectfully. As for the general level of the store, I can confidently say that it maintains very high standards.

The level of care and customer service back then was completely different. Recently, I had a very disappointing experience with the current manager, Lilit. I returned chicken that was clearly uncooked--not for a refund, but simply to make them aware so it wouldn't happen again. Instead of handling it professionally, she became defensive, raised her voice, and insisted the chicken was cooked, essentially accusing me of lying. As a long-time loyal customer, that was very upsetting. I was respectful, but the way I was treated was rude and dismissive. This is not the kind of service Golden Market used to be known for. Because of this experience, I highly discourage anyone from going there. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend it to my family or friends. I truly hope management takes this seriously and brings back the level of respect and customer care that Soorik and Ofelia once provided. Btw I Think she needs to know that she is just a manager at local grocery store and she is super uneducated and low class.

The prices is here are pretty reasonable especially with lots of expensive sandwich shops out there these days.

I saw an Instagram post about a thick-cut wagyu pastrami hoagie. Well, the thick-cut pastrami isn't…read morea thing anymore. The pastrami is cut thin -- thin, but it's still good. What we ordered: 1) a create-your-own pastrami sandwich with mustard, pickles, and Swiss cheese, 2) their new pastrami cheesesteak. 3) a banana pudding (which I haven't tried yet) The standard pastrami hoagie good, but those kinds of pastrami sandwiches are pretty ubiquitous in SoCal-- pastrami, thinly sliced; maybe there's pickles, maybe there's mustard, maybe there's jus for a dip (their's is dry), on a French roll. I can get that kind of pastrami sandwich closer to me. On the other hand, a pastrami cheesesteak is NOT something you'd see around these parts. According to the menu, their cheesesteak has their signature pastrami, Cooper sharp cheddar, and onions on a hoagie roll. We preferred the pastrami cheesesteak over the standard, simply because of the novelty but also for the taste. The cheddar gave the cheesesteak a richness that a regular pastrami sandwich wouldn't have. Also, the melted cheddar had a binding effect on the pastrami; the meat stayed in the sandwich. You didn't end up with a third to half the pastrami ending up escaping the confines of the roll halves. The pastrami cheesesteak also included a 2oz serving cup of chipotle aioli which we really didn't need. The flavor on its own was enough for us. If I had a minor gripe on this cheesesteak, maybe a hit of acid would've been nice, but cheesesteaks usually lean toward rich and gooey so this sandwich's flavors and textures are par for the course. About the place itself: 1) the sandwich shop is on the corner of a major intersection, Lexington and Pacific 2) other than a driveway with a single space, it is ALL street parking. 3) there is NO parking on Pacific 4) the only dine-in option is a small porch with a couple of tables 5) be stage are all canned or bottled; there is no fountain The sandwiches are made to order. My order was given a wait time of 15 minutes but I'm pretty sure it was faster than that. I don't think I would drive all the way from the Rosemead area, but it's clearly a local's favorite. If we were in the area, we'd totally order the pastrami cheesesteak again, maybe with pepperonis. Their pastrami is no Langer's, but it's definitely a cut (no pun intended) over the standard Jim's 1/4 Lb or Rick's type joints. You can taste the care in its preparation. Overall, a really good sandwich place.
