It seems that law enforcement is very aware of this situation because it has happened time and time again. You would think then, that Trader Joe's might do something about it. I LOVE this place! Tthey have a great selection of produce, cheeses, breads, frozen meals, wine, beer, cereal and dried fruits. The selection goes far beyond the aforementioned products and everything is ORGANIZED! The staff is so friendly and helpful, I have never had a bad experience there. Incredibly reasonable prices, vast parking, shrouding over their carts (ya no damp ones) and they enter you in a raffle if you bring in reusable bags. Great market, especially if you have an open mind. You may not be able to put together a whole meal of raw ingredients, but on the other hand you can find some things there that you can't find elsewhere and you can find some things much more cheaply. This is where I buy things like saffron, crystallized ginger, and vanilla beans. Also, the meats, cheeses, juices, fruit, nut, flowers, prepackaged meals... ok everything is great. This place is both my favorite market and wine store! The secrete is that only a few per state can sell beer and wine, and this is one of them. Weather your looking for the budget party wine (Charles Shaw $2.99 ) Our a very good port for $7. TJ's got it, and has been selling wine for $2 for ten years now! The "Two Buck Chuck" Cab and Pino's are very good table wines, or if you want to get crazy with some jumbo sangria. There are so many other wines to explore here under $10, don't be shy ask one of the Jimmy Buffet look a likes and they'll set you up. Sadly as much of a fan of TJ's I've never found that dam plastic lobster that they hide some where in the store every day. I look and look but squat. read more

The produce rocks, the samples are ever-present and generous, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they don't let lines get more than two customers long, and they have SO MUCH house-brand stuff that is cheaper AND better than whatever the supermarkets have. It's kind of silly, actually. For instance, their hummuses (hummi?) are better than ANY brand I've had from the supermarkets, but they're also cheaper! Great breads, prepared frozen stuff, cheap beer and wine...sometimes we're able to avoid the supermarkets and just shop at TJ's and BJ's for weeks! read more

Unbelievable. 15 minutes wait to get in at 11 on Monday then massive line to checkout, would have been another 15 minutes at least and no provision for small order v. I full carts. I handed back my basket to the. Very nice older man who was reminding me to social distance in the line and left. I'm a big fan of this TJ's. The wines are great, and the staff is friendly like whoa. I'm a crazy introvert, but even these kids get me talking. They offer boxes and have even offered to take groceries to my car. My one complaint is the sushi. I'm a HUGE sushi-as-fast-food person, but I'm also a vegetarian, so the selection anyplace is very limited. TJ's has two choices. One is chock full of avocado, which makes me worry about heart disease when it's the star of the scene. The other features inari, which is basically fried tofu skin. Some people like it. I'm not one of them. The parking here is not awesome. It shares a space with a staples, a Ruby Tuesdays, and a vacuum store. There's also a walgreens, an italiam place, and something else I can't remember on the other side of the plaza. We've been customers of the Framingham TJ's ever since they opened here, well over 10 years ago now. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the guy (sorry, I don't remember his first name) who does the wine tastings is extremely knowledgeable. Evenings, like a half-hour before closing, is a good time to go, although you may be tripping over the multitude of staffers who are busy re-stocking the shelves. Oh, and speaking of wine, this is one of the three TJ's stores in Mass that has a beer and wine license. They have opened larger stores since and it would be easy for them to transfer that license to another location. But it remains in Framingham where they sell truckloads of Two Buck Chuck (although none to me.) I do have two gripes about TJ's: 1. Moving things around. They're always doing this. The chips are in aisle five. No, now they're in aisle three. They don't spare the frozen foods either. You get used to finding those delicious frozen Turkey Meatballs in one spot and all of a sudden they're in the other frozen food aisle. 2. Discontinuing popular items. A long time ago TJ's sold amazingly good frozen veggie burgers. They weren't soy-based (which to me is a good thing, I don't care for those.) I think mushroom was the main ingredient. I love this TJ's location. The store has a wide selection, and a wine and beer section (A++)!!! I love to discover new treats in TJ's frozen aisles, French Macarons anyone? I also find TJ brand yogurts - especially their Greek style honey and mango yogurts are yummy. I've noticed that the veggie selection has been getting better as well as wider - try a Kumato Tomato in your salad or with your sandwich next time - sweet and juicy. And overall you will find the staff very friendly and helpful, which makes for a better shopping experience. Don't forget to pick up some flowers - their selection is often great value! This is a very nice store. I find something fun and unique every time I go there. Also has a very nice selection of affordable great tasting wines. The only complaint I have is about a couple of bad employee interactions. One was when the cashier guy asked me where I had got a wine from and whether it was from the store.I mean what are you implying mister? Aren't you supposed to know your own products and help me out instead of treating me like trash? Another instance was when I was driving through their crazy hectic parking lot and this employee with carts jumped on to my path without looking and then started shouting at me. I apologized even though it was not my fault and he was just being mean for no reason. This is one of the smaller Trader Joes that I have been too. It can get a little cramped, especially on the weekends. The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever spent more then 45 dollars in there on food, so the prices are great. The parking lot is pretty bad. Spaces are too close together and it can get dicey with pedestrians and cars coming out from all directions. I walk there whenever possible to avoid having to navigate it. read more

Just Don't Ask Where the "Coke" is~ I'm aware that I've been writing a lot about grocery stores lately. Perhaps it's because I know I'll have to go get real food at some point. Anyway, this place is first on my list. If you're not familiar with this place, a couple of warnings: the weekend crowd is overwhelming. Yes, even hippies can get grocery rage. Try to go during the week, if possible. That said, this is the best grocery store ever. They carry the oddest, most delicious, healthy food. If it's not healthy, it's sheer deliciousness makes up for that (see chocolate covered potato chips). There is a small section of health and beauty products. None of the products I've seen has been tested on animals. They sell a lovely smelling lotion called a "Midsummer's Night Creme" at a fair price. I have also gotten vitamins here. I must admit, though, my favorite things they carry are hybrid orchids. Right now, mine are all in plant rehab (and, frankly have severe issues with authority as they refuse to grow), but I have faith in them. And love. Let's just hope I'm not Dr. Drewing them off the balcony. When these flowers are in full bloom, they will take your breath away. The staff is cool, kind, and funny. I've only been snarked at once. (I guess we're all entitled to a bad day once in a while.) That is the exception here, *not* the rule. They also know the whereabouts of everything. Free samples are given out with glee all the time. Your food will somehow fit into 3-4 paper bags, regardless of how much you spent. It's as if the cashiers, in addition to being friendly, as well as amateur gemologists, and expert conversationalists, are also paper bag origami gurus. Here's a little list of stuff to try that will make you wonder how you ever lived without it: ***Better 'n Peanut Butter*** x2 Box of Chai Tea (or two) [back wall with the coffee] Chocolate Covered Potato Chips [eat sparingly and share only with loved one(s)] Blood Orange Soda Strawberry Lime Juice S' Mores Ice Creme Bars T.J 3 Cheese Pizza French Toast (sooo good) Medium Amber Maple Syrup Margarita Puff Pastry @ $1.99, grab a few Lacey Chocolate Cookies (for company-you already have chocolate covered potato chips ;p) [found overhead in the frozen food section] Blueberry, Coconut Yogurt (yes, it's pricey, but so worth it) x4 Salad with any greens from produce Sticky Cinnamon Bread Don't Forget the hybrid Orchid! Oh, you can get Kefir Milk here, if you like it. I used the strawberry flavored kind in a smoothie. Evidently, it's hard to find. Since you may- at least I do, have to go to a "regular" store anyway, (OK, I admit it. I need my "Coca-Cola"), get your milk and sandwich bread there, too. The expiry date at chains is much later. There is a large liquor section, from beer to Sangria and wine, and pretty much everything in between. I have found it inexpensive and tasty. I can't remember the name of the beer. Trader Joes, has lots of great beers thats are super cheep. You can mix and match beers and make your own variety packs. The wine selection is awesome and really the only place I buy wine. For two reasons 1. I dont know much about wines 2. its cheep and you can try new wines all the time for under 10 a bottle if you so desire. They also sell food. I usually buy desert items like the toffee cookies or ice cream. As others have mentioned the parking sucks. So just try and park further away from the store entrance and its not so bad. read more

I like the store, I just don't like the snooty-rude customers, that will run you and your kids over without flinching. No one seems to understand ettiquette, so forget having someone back up to let you by, and forget getting a thank you when you back up. Seriously, I dislike the customers here, very rude. Despite the retarded parking lot plan, I like this Trader Joe outlet. Honestly, it's a crap shoot whether you are going to get hit when you try to back out. I park out by the Ruby Tuesday's and walk, just so I don't get riled by it. Other than that, they have a great staff here, and usually they have all my TJ staples in stock. Note: there's an employee that looks just like Zoe from Nurse Jackie working there. I interacted with her once, and she acts and talks like her, too. It's safe to say I am obsessed with Trader Joe's and probably swing by here at least once a week. Of all the Trader Joe's locations in the Greater Boston area this is my favorite as it's the least crowded and has a good selection including a pretty well stocked wine & beer area. They don't sell liquor here like some other locations which is a bummer but its the most enjoyable Trader Joe's experience around so I can overlook it. The employees here are amazing and are always friendly and offering help if you need it. Everything TJ's does is on point however I would advise doing serious produce shopping elsewhere which is why I am taking away a star. I find some of the produce to be a little sad looking and do find that it spoils much faster than anything you would purchase from your normal supermarket. The packaged refrigerated produce isn't as big of an issue but your everyday fruits and veggies are not the greatest. Overall TJ's is a critical part of my weekly food shopping rotation and I can't imagine living without some of my faves like cookie butter and 2 buck chuck. read more

This Trader Joes is so much better than the one in Acton, pretty much because they have a huge wine selection from a bunch of different countries. The wines are also ridiculously cheap and of decent quality for such low prices. Many bottles for under $10. It's not high end foo foo wine, but if you want that, go somewhere else. And at least the parking lot here is not as bad as in Acton - less retarded soccer mom's in mini-vans. But it does suck that Rt 9 is such a pain in the neck to turn around in. read more

I really like this store. The parking is awful, but you gotta manuever your way around and not park near the actual store. Park at Walgreens, or in the corner by Staples. Otherwise it's impossible to get out of. The customer service is good, but I feel like they overdo it. The past 2 times I went in, two different cashiers have literally asked 1. what my plans are for the day, 2. what did I do yesterday, 3. what am I gonna do next weekend, and it's a bit much when I'm just trying to check out. I appreciate the fact that they're just trying to be nice, but they should stop training their cashiers to be like that as it comes off as a bit intrusive and annoying. A simple 'hi how are you' or 'didja find everything ok?' is all ya need, people. I don't wanna talk about my last week 's plans with you, or any person I don't know for that matter. I can't even remember what I did YESTERDAY, let alone last week. Plus I'm buying a case of wine and cheese, what do you THINK my plans are for today? Oh how I love Trader Joe's. This place is awesome for cheese, frozen foods (sometimes healthier options than a regular grocery store and ALWAYS cheaper options), canned goods (coconut milk is only $.99 here, compared to almost $2 at most regular stores), cereals, breads and pretty much everything! They have a decent selection of reasonably priced wine and are always sampling some food in the back. The people working here seem unnaturally happy which is cool and even when the lines are long, they move pretty quickly. Things to try that I've never seen anywhere else: -masala burgers in the frozen food section. They're like Indian-spiced hashbrowns and so unbelievably delicious. -Mintz Blintzes - dairy free blintzes. DE-LICIOUS. The only downsides are that the parking lot is always packed and sometimes tough to get in and out of, and their produce section isn't that great. They have a lot of things, but aside from bananas, it seems like I always spend more on produce here than other stores. Also, it's in the next plaza from Whole Foods. read more

THis is the second Sunday that I've gone there, and almost everything I want they don't have in stock. WTF Framingham Trader Joe's? I really miss the Cambridge TJs more than ever. I looked for sliced apples, blueberries, Asian pears...nada in stock. I only do my groceries on Sunday, typically, so I become very irate when the things I want for the week aren't available. They have several aisles and the back left section dedicated to wine and beer. I live closer to the Shrewsbury, MA Trader Joes and they don't have a liquor license. I hear the reason for the $2 Charles Shaw wine (coined 2 buck chucks) is related to a settlment from a divorce between the owner and his wife. So how does Framingham do it better than your ordinary Trader Joes? They sell wine and beer!! You can't beat this place's selection. Such a strong focus on getting you the most bang for your buck for wine and for encouraging you to try new beers with their 'Mystery 6 Pack' If you ever want to try something new, people here are ALWAYS giving suggestions. Great selection of produce and other foods! Decided to try the Turkey Chili (on display and available to sample on the day I went in). It was excellent. I even bought the Habenero Sauce they recommended to go with it. I LOVE spicy foods, and Trader Joe's Habenero Sauce is a great blend of heat and flavor. I have visited the Framingham location about once a week for years. I like the quality of their products and reasonable prices. However, my visits since the COVID restrictions were in place have been unpleasant. Sure, there are lines to get in, and to check out - that is to be expected. Each time since COVID, I've encountered employees who are managing the flow of traffic within the score in an aggressive way. Today, I was following the aisles according to the arrows. At the end of an aisle, I tried to turn right toward checkout. A lane police lady promptly barked at me that I couldn't go in that direction. It wasn't clear from the arrows on the floor, and she just wasn't nice about it. Unnecessary. A simple explanation or a 'please' would have changed my shopping experience there today. read more

Usually I have a good experience shopping at Trader Joe's and this location is no different. There's plenty of parking, but because the section right in front is a little cramped, I tend to park a little further down so I have some room to breathe when parking. The inside of the store feels a little small and the layout seems a little odd, but there is always plenty of staff around to assist with anything. This location is easy to access and the easy on/off access to Route 9 and Prospect Street makes transportation a breeze. I highly recommend this TJ's. read more

BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS! There are some really good things about this Trader Joe's: interesting and affordable foods, friendly and helpful store staff, it's close to where I live, it sells beer & wine, etc...for those reasons, I love shopping here. However, 2 things really give me pause, and I resist shopping here BECAUSE OF these 2 reasons: The parking lot is AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE, and PICKPOCKETING IS A SERIOUS ONGOING PROBLEM. This parking lot is rivaled only by the Sudbury Farms lot in Sudbury for "careless, reckless drivers who speed like they're on the Autobahn with one hand on the wheel while the other holds a phone to their ear". Unbelievable. It's narrow, congested, and I've seen dozens of minor accidents and HUNDREDS of near misses & verbal altercations. When it snows, forget it: you can't see around the snowbanks, and the lot itself is a slushy, slippery mess. Be very, very careful. A friend had her wallet stolen from her bag yesterday at Trader Joe's here in Framingham. She left her bag unattended on her cart for just a moment while shopping, then when she got to the register realized it was now gone. She realizes in hindsight it was unwise to leave her bag unattended, but there's no good excuse for larceny (ladies: PLEASE keep your eyes and your hands on your bag at all times, no matter where you are...I see this so often and unfortunately some rotten opportunistic thieves WILL help themselves). Apparently, this store is WELL aware of this problem (see other reviews here mention it as well), and when my friend reported it to the store manager , he told her it happens all the time. SO WHERE ARE THE CAMERAS?? Obviously, people should be VERY careful to guard their belongings anywhere in public, but if this is an ongoing issue then why hasn't the store taken any preventive measures, even if it's only to post warnings to people to keep an eye out? So, in a lot of ways I'm a big fan...this store has a lot to offer. However if I'm risking life, limb & personal property by shopping here, then it's not the easy choice it could be. read more

This is the fifth Trader Joe's I ever been to. The first was in Seattle, WA. The others were Cambridge, MA, Brookline, MA, and Back Bay Boston, MA. This TJ's may be my favorite because the people working there were so helpful, happy, and had a great rapport with each other too. I received help picking out some white wine.
