My first experience with Trader Joe's was many years ago in DC. At that time, it was strange to me to walk into a place that felt like a farmers market in doors. Now, there's many Trader Joe's stores around me in Dallas. And the great feeling is, I'm still excited to walk in this store! They have one of the best flower selections, in my opinion. I never leave the store without beautiful flowers in my basket. And the ambience - just so much fun! The displays for the different products always makes me stop and take notice. And the personal art on the walls - such a great addition. Now, let me talk about this store and the staff. They're always personal, and today the guy checking us out made us laugh with his quick wit/humor. You just feel good when you're leaving because of this experience. read more

I was lucky enough to score the pastel mini tote bags from this Trader Joe's location recently and was stoked! It can be chaos when Trader Joe's releases such hot items and this store had a very organized system allowing shoppers to head inside right away who weren't trying to purchase the mini tote bags. I arrived just before opening and there was a line but the staff were prepared and had someone handing out the bags as customers got to the front of the line. It was great! I also went home with some other goodies. I love Trader Joe's! read more

I go here often as this is the closest location from my home. Plenty of parking space to park. Very friendly and helpful staff working and willing to locate things that I am looking for. Rapid check-outs as usually cashiers are looking for customers to assist with checking out. Stopped by late at night for a quick grocery run. They had a ton of items on sale, and the produce is super fresh! I was surprised by how cheap some of the wine bottles were too. TJ's is my favorite grocery store to shop at! I feel in love with Trader Joe's when I lived in California and now that's it's here in Dallas, I just can't get enough of it! Customer service and double bagging is their things! Everything is perfectly priced, cleaned, and cared for! I love their plant/flower selection! So many beautiful arrangements to pick from! Hungry? You can grab and go prepared salads, snacks, soups, veggies, and hummus trays! In the mode for breakfast burritos, grab your flavor or wrap and enjoy! TJ's has its own brand of products which are better than some name brand products! Cool dog treats for your pets! Love their popcorn and fan of the wine and beer section. There was an NPR story on the radio today about Trader Joe's, so my hubby and I decided to take a little field trip to not only remind ourselves why we like the store, but to focus on the details brought up on NPR today. Did you know that there is no loyalty or rewards program at Trader Joe's? They don't really do any marketing either. You know, it's nice not having your every purchase tracked with your email and cell phone. The stores are located in small strip centers that don't cost a lot; usually these are in up and coming neighborhoods. This is good for consumers because savings from real estate overhead are passed onto customers. Hello Two Buck Chuck! They don't have as many product choices as most grocery stores. For instance, you aren't going to find 20 varieties of mustard here, but they do offer unique products. Also, some of the same products you find at other grocery stores are actually cheaper at Trader Joe's. We found this to be true tonight. My hubby has requested that we do our future shopping here because of the price savings. They target the over-educated, underpaid population (think artists and writers). Have you ever noticed that their product descriptions always include lots of wordy adjectives? Hey, adjectives are free! Employees are paid well and stock shelves during store hours (not late at night like other grocers). With so many staff around, you are likely to always find someone to assist you. Apparently they pride themselves on offering exceptional customer service. Building relationships is key to getting loyal, return customers. While we didn't find any chatty stock hands, the few we came across were polite. The checkout employees were much more engaged in conversation with us, and seemed genuinely happy to be working at Trader Joe's. I'm looking forward to exploring their unique, seasonal products on a regular basis and spending less cash in the process. Sayonara Central Market, we're tapping Trader Joe's for now on. read more

3-23-2023 - I am used to the TJ's being so packed with lines at every register 4+ people deep. This location is bigger than my usual location. This night was super slow on a (Thursday night) and the store was fully stocked. Loved it! I have a few staples that I always pick up at TJ's. Highly recommend the Eggwich (breadless) breakfast sandwich, frozen linguini with pesto & tomatoes, green dragon hot sauce, EVOO huge bottle with a spout, frozen colorful carrot coins, frozen organic rainbow cauliflower to name a few. Check them out. They always have plants and flowers. Picked up some cute $2.99 succulents. read more

This isn't the biggest Trader Joe's -- in fact -- it's probably one of the smallest TJ locations in the DFW area. Coupled with a large parking area, this location feels more relaxed and less stressful than other locations. They do get busy during prime time (5-7pm) but there's always an abundance of expert cashiers working at light speed to get you checked out faster than you can say 'Two Buck Chuck.' Because it's a smaller store, they do tend to run out of popular items faster than busier stores. My go-to items here are the lemonade, produce, cheesy bread, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels, apple blossoms, fresh salmon, frozen haddock, bolognese, penne arribata, mac n cheese, basmati rice and potato latkes. The langostino and Argentinian shrimp are also excellent. The workers here are always friendly and eager to help you find what you're looking for. I mean as in walking you over to the aisle and grabbing it for you. They also encourage you to try new items and ask you to return anything you find unsatisfactory. In fact, their generous return policy has opened up a lot of new foods for my family that we wouldn't have otherwise tried. I've been to Trader Joe's from NY to LA to TX and most places in between and this location is probably the best I've been to. read more

Trader Joe's number one fan! The vibe in there is always great. It's never hard to find help there are employees always nearby. I love being able to go to a local store for good food options. I've been a customer for over 8 years now so I am good with going in and getting my goods with no problem and if I need help there is always someone nearby. But going in for my first time it was hard and I was lost. They have so many items and so much good stuff that you don't normally see. But I encourage you to always ask questions and pretty soon you'll be back and back again. For good food, reasonably priced and great customer service attention can't go wrong with TJ's! read more

Shocked I hadn't reviewed this place yet. For years it's been our family go-to, always reliable, always clean, always well-stocked. My favorite is to swing through at 8:50PM (10 minutes before closing) and to quickly grab some delicious and unique sweet treat I've never had before and a bottle of ludicrously good $6 wine and enjoy people watching all the other people doing the same thing! Seriously though, both during the COVID crisis and well beforehand this store has been exemplary and well-run. I truly enjoy all my interactions with their employees, and they've always been incredibly gracious and friendly with my little ones. This TJ's is a gem! So grateful they're here. You can't go to a Trader Joe's And not find something new you completely love. My most recent find is the milk & honey toffee, mmmm my new guilty pleasure! This location is always clean, they're always stocked and hardly out of anything. I also appreciate the fact that all the cashiers are extremely nice and make it a point to ask how your day is. This location is pretty tiny but for my 1st time EVER visiting a Trader Joe's, my experience was great! It was a bit crowded and I had no idea where everything was but a couple of employees, including the manager,must have noticed that I looked lost and asked if I needed any help. Lol! I was able to find and purchase a few of their wonderful seasonings(which were a really inexpensive by the way), some delicious steak tips, and some fresh fruit for dinner tonight. I have a true and undying love for all things Trader Joe's. They have high quality specialty products you won't find elsewhere, like the famous Kringle from Racine WI or a lemon baked ricotta that you would NEVER share. Their advent calendars during the holidays are always affordable and fun. And have you checked out their wine selection? I love that they take careful consideration when stocking items to avoid crappy additives and preservatives. Did I mention their Burrata? That's another one of my favorite things about Trader Joe's. Their seasonal items are sometimes tough to get your hands on but with the exceptional staff, they will help you score whatever you need or at least bend over backwards trying. Eat healthy or indulge! Save money and trust that TJs has your best interests at heart. Don't complain that their bread gets moldy in a week- store it in the fridge and cherish that they don't shove their products full of calcium propionate, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate! This is why their bread tastes sooooo much better than any others! Fun for the kiddos- most TJ stores have a mascot/animal that they hide daily for young kiddos (and me) to find while shopping. I know what you're thinking....seen one TJ you've seen'em all. Well, not necessarily. Lend me your ear for a moment as I explain the uniqueness of this particular Trader location. Located inside a strip mall. The vibrant, ginormous signage alone is very attractive, making sure you can't miss it. Cart setup is organized and in a designated entry area with motorized carts for your convenience. I didn't immediately spot the mini carts for kiddos but I'm certain they were hidden somewhere. Fine with me I can't stand those little heel-busters. The kitchen area was bigger than some of the other locations I've visited. Customer service was about as friendly, informative & cool as I always experience at TJ. Ok, the real kicker here is the artwork inside. Store pride at its finest with the word DALLAS beautifully plastered across the wall. That's not it, in the immaculately gorgeous restroom (yes it was gorgeous, full length mirror & all ladies), there's a huge hanging display the shape of TEXAS. I have always loved Trader Joe's! A go-to grocery stop but I was disappointed when I went two days ago. I am obsessed with pomegranate seeds but never find them at Trader Joe's. Well the other day they finally had them and I rejoiced at not having to stop at another store. Well I had two tubs for ONE DAY and they both were covered in mold. I am so sad since they are so expensive for their little tubs and I can't get my money back. I really hope y'all can check your fruit better for future experiences! Great location in the Addison area for business travelers looking for hotel room snacks. Store is not very crowded and all the favorite goodies are in stock. I shop at Trader Joe's for specific things. In particular their All in one facial cleanser which is legit. Wait, forget I said that. Don't go there for their dermatologist grade product that costs less than $6 and has kept me blemish free for years. This location is oddly tucked behind some other plaza, not directly on the corner of Belt Line and Preston. It shares a parking lot with Hobby Lobby so park accordingly. People can't seem to park their crossover SUVs and minivans in straight lines in the parking lot. No complaints. It's Trader Joes. Decent prices for good products. Especially if you're a die hard fan like me. Once you find something you like, you'll keep coming back again and again to get it because you can't find it anywhere else. But seriously though, forget what I said about their facial cleanser. I need it. read more

I love Trader Joe's but do feel their product marketing is deceptive. I recently bought "organic" blueberries and they did not taste clean at all. My husbands lips usually itch after non-organic foods from the sprayed chemicals/pesticides/etc and they itched right after eating these "organic" blueberries. Also, the "organic" tomatoes did not taste clean as well. They tasted like fake foods sprayed with chemicals. read more
