Omg this place has the best flour tortillas I live about 1 hour away and I honestly can say these are so worth the drive for them . The usual TJ. I remember that I haven't shopped all that much @ Trader Joe's, but I thought the couple of other TJ in other cities that I have been to are bigger than this. The veggies are priced at much a higher price than some of the markets around the area, which was surprising and omg - I thought I will get some tomatoes and they did not have any FRESH ones. No kitchen rolls/tissues as well, really ?? Lotsa frozen stuff which is pretty easy meal. read more

Trader Joes rocks and this is the closest one to me. Great selection of afforable wines. Nice produce, nice and very different meat selection. Their cheese is quite good as well. They always had new foods and great new additions up until 2011.. since then they only have the same ole selection of brands. Prices are fair and we love the Vegan, GF symbols on all the food. I always get what I come in for except for the rare occasion when they are out of bread or pizza. read more

Best place to buy groceries in the suburbs! My family has been coming here every week for years. The staff feels like family! Some of the nicest people in the world who are always willing to help. It's awesome to see the same faces year after year, which shows me that they really take care of their employees and create a great work environment. I LOVE Trader Joe's. I rarely bring anything home that's a total dud...frozen fish is great (better than "fresh" at most grocery stores), organic produce is priced well, love their greek olive oil, wine (NOT two buck chuck, but they have some really great TJ's exclusive wines), nuts, granola clusters - too many things to name! I have been in love with this grocery store for quite some time. I go there religiously for their yogurt cups and quinoa and now have to go more frequently because my son loves the yogurt as well. I love their green tea shampoo and conditioner, as well as the fruit and vegetable wash. I have tried a couple of their frozen items like the orange chicken, taquitos, and the vegetable lasagna. I was actually excited to find organic beef hot dogs with no nitrates/nitrites and are grass fed beef. My son likes hot dogs once in awhile as do I so this is a great thing. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have purchased. The plantain chips and blue corn/quinoa tortilla chips are rather tasty and love their preserves. The staff is always super friendly and so helpful. There was one day that they didn't have the preserve I was looking for and one of the staff went in back to see if they had gotten their delivery yet. Sure some of the items can be a little pricey, but you really do get what you pay for and everything here is excellent quality! Now I just want to try one of their steaks and see how their meats are. Oh I almost forgot, the dog treats are awesome if you want healthy natural treats for your pup that are not made in China and very reasonable on the price. Also my husband and I have gotten a couple bottles of wine from here and they were really good! read more

I cannot tell you how happy I am to call this Trader Joes my local grocery store. I have adored Trader Joes since I first visited one as a kid...I could tell even then that it was a different kind of store, with the Hawaiian shirted employees and all. It felt fun. My whole life though, we never lived very close to one and it was always kind of a once or twice a year special visit we did if we were near one. However three years ago we moved to this area and now live only ten minutes away from one...I couldn't be happier. I love everything about our local TJ's. The staff is super friendly first and foremost. The always talk to me and my girls. They give them stickers or a balloon at each visit. My girls love going there. Next is obviously their food. They have a great selection of organic and natural foods. I love being able to buy foods we could get at any regular grocery store, but made without preservatives or chemicals and for a comparable price. I buy all of the organic fruits that my girls eat from their frozen section and some of their vegetables (seems the organic frozen veggie selection has decreased a bit in the past couple of years). I was kind of worried the last few visits that they were out of organic frozen blueberries and raspberries---I hope they continue to carry them, I don't know what I'd do without their frozen organic section, most stores don't have many frozen org fruits and veggies....it's been a lifesaver since I had kids, not having to go to the store every few days for fresh (and expensive) organic produce. I could go on and on about their wonderful foods but I will spare you. I just love this store and their unique, healthy, fairly priced foods, and everyone who works there. The selection obviously isn't what you will find at the big groceries, but generally, what you can find here is of high quality. The steaks, ribs and other cuts of meat have been good and priced very well. Outside of the nasty two buck chuck, you can find some good value wines under $10. The staff is always very helpful and polite. read more

Our favorite grocery store in Algonquin (wish we had a WF though). No BS in this store, just groceries. In and out, fast. Staff is super nice, free drinks/coffee in the back. Love coming here and I hate shopping - if that says anything. read more
