I took advantage of their pickup service. It worked out great until this past order. I always start my order 24 hrs before pickup time. That way I can add items. This time after making my order an hour before (approx 8pm with pick up at 11am the next day) I needed to order a few more items. The website said they were already shopping my order and I could not add anything further. Ugh! Went the next day and picked up my order and brought it home. Items I paid for were not there and the entire bag of potatoes was obviously rotten. Was told I'd be getting a survey and I never received it and no info of anyone to contact. Meijer, you've lost our business. Do not place an order for pickup.

It's been in the refrigerator and the sale by date is tomorrow, but it looks so discolored and old. I'm not even going to try to open it and smell it. I'm taking it back tomorrow and I'm really sick and tired of taking things back to the grocery stores that are rotten. It is a drive to any of them and i may or may not have enough time to drive back, find a place to park, and go in and take care of business. I have ended up just throwing things out like little bakery items that were a couple bucks or a sandwich that was three or four instead of eight or six dollars. I would like to know the cost per oz, per lb, per serving like many stores do which helps identify the true value compared to other brands. Not the unfortunate thing is this, as I have mentioned before on some specific items, which is hit or miss for me. Recently, purchased two chicken portobello wraps, a chicken breast wrapping cheese and portobello mushrooms. They looked great and there are other combos as well, but thought this would be a yummy and easy server for dinner.
