I stopped in while in the area to buy the gluten free bread that they highlighted on Instagram. It is very good. The bakery carries so many items including pączki for Fat Tuesday. While there I also purchased their stuffed cabbage rolls (gołąbki) which were some of the most delicious ones I've ever had. They also have a nice variety of soups so I bought beet soup and pickle soup which are both really tasty. The store is clean and bright and employees are helpful. The aisles are very tight and packed with a huge variety of imported items so bring your patience. read more

I come here now and then for foods you just can't find elsewhere. Lots of good Polish foods like sausages and fresh made pierogi. Also house made soups. There are lots of European foods that one cannot find in a regular grocery store. read more

I came for the freshly made meat pierogis, and also left with already-cooked dumplings with bacon and green onions, a Polish sausage, fruit tea bags, snacks, and a bottled Polish juice. I noticed the prices on fresh produce were low, and there's tons of deli meat and items to choose from. There's barrels of pickles including sauerkraut! I wanted to leave with everything! The store itself was crowded, and customers and employees were all polite. It was a lovely shopping experience except the carts tend to swivel sideways. The cart I was using got hit several times by other customers. I wish I lived closer to one of these! There's even 20% off everything on Wednesdays! The only bad thing I have to say is that there is a huge language barrier. I have been there a dozen times and staff has always spoken to me in Polish and those I have dealt with do not speak English. I have nothing against that but I do not speak Polish. At the meat counter, 99% of the product descriptions are written in Polish therefore can not read or pronounce what I am asking for. This not a prejudice comment but I feel as if I am an outsider when shopping at the store, feeling intimidated. I love the smell of the smoked meats, the selection of products, the produce always looks fresh, the fresh baked bread is delicious but so reluctant to stop there. I would make it an all time store to go to but is difficult. read more

Great deli and Polish market. We ordered a complete Thanksgiving meal with turkey and sides. We are very satisfied and will become regular customers. My comparison would be a Polish Trader Joe's. Our turkey was very well prepared and cooked with carrots,celery, and an apple inside along rosemary and other herbs. Turkey was moist and delicious with a nice golden browned skin. Garnished with kale, apples and more rosemary. Clear reheating instructions in Polish and English. The sides were a happy assortment of both Polish and American varieties and not a bad dish in the lot. We're not Polish and didn't know what many dishes were but we tried most of them and it was a fun experience. I'm old enough to remember Chicago neighborhoods with Jewish delis and Greek coffee shops on every corner. Most are gone now but Polish cafes and delis are a welcome replacement. Awesome deli counter and the prepared foods are out of this world! Incredible selection of meats and cheeses, and the prepared offerings like Chicken Kiev and potato pancakes are heavenly. Came here after friends told us to come. This is a small grocer who has specialty items. Fruits, vegetables, with sauerkraut and pickles in bulk. Lots of meats (massive deli) and prepared foods too. We came in as lovers of Polish delis and left after spending around $30 on a variety of items. We bought a few different cheeses, some Kraukus ham (on sale for $2.99 per pound), a bunch of sausages (every one of them was amazing), a loaf of rye bread, and several polish beers. I had planned something else for dinner but we got all of these meats and we did a charcuterie board of sausages, cheeses, ham and Rye bread. Our 16 year old came down and couldn't stop eating! After 40 minutes, several slices of rye, a half pound of sausage, and some ribs (the original plan) we called it quits with a Bock Beer (a dark/amber lager) and a few more waiting in the fridge. read more

Finally, an international (mostly Polish) grocery and deli located just off Randall Rd behind Best Buy. So thankful our neighbors informed us of this new store that recently opened. Otherwise, we never would have known it was there. It's in the parking lot of Bowlero and behind JoAnns and totally hidden from Randall Rd. Wear a mask or face covering, grab a shopping cart from outside and enter the main entrance (corner of the building closest to the parking lot). Walk by the fruit and vegetable area and continue on back to the expansive deli. Grab a number and brows the many sausages, kabanos, deli meats, and cheeses. We ordered several from all categories including a Polish cheese that looks like Swiss cheese but tastes even better! The deli guy gave my hubby a tip on how to heat and serve their homemade smoked sausages (larger ones sold on top of the counter). Grill until they pop then fill the crevice with sharp cheddar cheese. Yum! He was right. That's a delicious way to enjoy smoked sausage! Continue along the back wall to the far side of the store where you find their bakery. Pick up a fresh loaf of sliced rye (or any of their other breads). Drool over their pastries and cookies. Look behind you and notice all the Polish and German beers. There are several aisles of grocery goods and even a frozen foods and cold cases area in the third corner of the store. Check out by the entrance. Return your cart and bring home those delicious goodies you just bought. Helpful and kind employees at the deli, bakery, and checkout. When it comes to Eastern European foods, let's just say " " works as a general rule. It's not that I'm averse, just uninitiated, insulated by this large country I find myself in the middle of. But I WAS able to find the few products I was looking for, namely doktorskaya, kvaas, and the European variety of Milky Way. Time to take an unnecessary aside, on that note... European Milky Way has no caramel, just nougat, which makes it closer to a Three Musketeers bar. American Milky Way does have caramel, which makes it closer to a European Mars bar. America doesn't have a Mars bar, but when it did, it was caramel, nougat, and almonds, so basically a Snickers Almond. And Europe doesn't have Three Musketeers bars, even though the Three Musketeers are French. See what happens when you expand your horizons? Things get confusing. And it might be confusing if you visit Deli 4 You and don't have a working knowledge of an Eastern European language. But just like with all those candy bars, chances are you're gonna like whatever you end up buying and shoving in your mouth. read more

My 75th birthday. I wanted it special and had Deli 5 you catering with the food. What a hit over the traditional beef and chicken, although that is available too, but so much more. Hot, fresh and delicious. Ordered a cake unseen, and this was more than expected. Highly recommend and look forward to their service again. By its name, one would not realize this is an extensive Polish foods, deli and other goods store...even imported alcohol and Coke. So clean and fresh. The prepared foods are my favorite. Only giving this place a star bc I will still pick up a few things that I need from time to time. Over the years the quality of deli for you is disappearing and the Ukrainian twist on polish food changed the overall flavor but I'm not here to complain about taste. The hot bar must have unsold food being made into new food b/c myself or someone in the family 9/10 times is getting sick from it. Still getting on my feet from throwing up the "fresh" zapeikanki they have made. I should have known better. Not to mention every time I have a hard time picking up fresh serki or yogurts b/c the dates are few days from expiring meanwhile the man is restocking shelves with them . Makes me think they are looking for the cheapest pallets of product that are closer to being expired soon. The same serki/yogurts that I can buy at montrose deli(on montrose not Irving) still have around a month to even two on the expiration date. Please up your quality again deli for you . Just accidentally happened upon this place, never realized we had a new Polish grocery store going in. Wandered a few aisles to explore and came across the counter where fresh pierogis were being handmade. Very picky about my pierogis... but extremely impressed with theirs! Nice, clean store with big selection of Polish groceries, including produce, deli, bakery, and hot food. Some Italian stuff, too. The cleanliness is excellent. The hot food I bought was delicious. My grandfather was 100% Polish, but I don't speak it, and my one complaint is that the employees aren't super friendly to you if you don't speak Polish. I felt awkward because of that. I would return based on the quality and variety of the food and the cleanliness of the store. I wish the employees would be a little more friendly to non Polish people that shop there. read more

Good food..some nice staff. Yesterday was packed..no social distancing..staff wearing masks below their nose..customer walked around for an hour without a mask. I confronted him and we argued. He refuses to wear masks..said he knows more than scientists. I asked the mgr why this man was allowed in the store. They spoke in Polish..mgr gave him a mask as the customer was leaving. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back. I don't speak Polish..can't read most labels. They definately don't cater to non-Polish people. What a shame because their food is good.
