The ultimate 'Theme Park' for Polish Food! Put your head on a swivel and scan a mindboggling collection of tasty grub! Peruse the store and focus on the important stuff like an endless meat counter, a waft of fresh Polish Sausage, scrumptious Roast Chicken and a hand-crafted Pierogi or two!! Trust me, you'll need a 'Ham-on-Rye' and a cigarette for the ride home...

Awesome deli counter and the prepared foods are out of this world! Incredible selection of meats and cheeses, and the prepared offerings like Chicken Kiev and potato pancakes are heavenly. The bakery is also great--delicious breads and baked goods, and everything is fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend stopping in to see all their offerings!

Came here after friends told us to come. This is a small grocer who has specialty items. Fruits, vegetables, with sauerkraut and pickles in bulk. Lots of meats (massive deli) and prepared foods too. We came in as lovers of Polish delis and left after spending around $30 on a variety of items. We bought a few different cheeses, some Kraukus ham (on sale for $2.99 per pound), a bunch of sausages (every one of them was amazing), a loaf of rye bread, and several polish beers. I had planned something else for dinner but we got all of these meats and we did a charcuterie board of sausages, cheeses, ham and Rye bread. Our 16 year old came down and couldn't stop eating! After 40 minutes, several slices of rye, a half pound of sausage, and some ribs (the original plan) we called it quits with a Bock Beer (a dark/amber lager) and a few more waiting in the fridge.

Meats and kabanos galore in the deli.

Finally, an international (mostly Polish) grocery and deli located just off Randall Rd behind Best Buy. So thankful our neighbors informed us of this new store that recently opened. Otherwise, we never would have known it was there. It's in the parking lot of Bowlero and behind JoAnns and totally hidden from Randall Rd. Wear a mask or face covering, grab a shopping cart from outside and enter the main entrance (corner of the building closest to the parking lot). Walk by the fruit and vegetable area and continue on back to the expansive deli. Grab a number and brows the many sausages, kabanos, deli meats, and cheeses. We ordered several from all categories including a Polish cheese that looks like Swiss cheese but tastes even better! The deli guy gave my hubby a tip on how to heat and serve their homemade smoked sausages (larger ones sold on top of the counter). Grill until they pop then fill the crevice with sharp cheddar cheese. Yum! He was right. That's a delicious way to enjoy smoked sausage! Continue along the back wall to the far side of the store where you find their bakery. Pick up a fresh loaf of sliced rye (or any of their other breads). Drool over their pastries and cookies. Look behind you and notice all the Polish and German beers. There are several aisles of grocery goods and even a frozen foods and cold cases area in the third corner of the store. Check out by the entrance. Return your cart and bring home those delicious goodies you just bought. Helpful and kind employees at the deli, bakery, and checkout. Can't wait to return and try more goods from here.

Great little markets. Good prices. Will definitely be back. The bakery looked amazing, so I made sure not to stop near it.

And yes, in case you didn't know, while it's called "International", all those nations are in Asia. We come here mainly for two things - either getting ingredients to make hot pot at home, or just eating hot pot here. They also have dry pot, which my wife and I really like as an option. You grab a basket and fill it with whatever veggies you want, then a separate one and fill it with proteins, then you pay by the weight. You can either get it hot pot style in a big bowl of hot broth, or dry pot where they cook it in the broth but serve your food already cooked. As far as the grocery selection, they have a big seafood selection and a decent butcher area. Also a lot of Asia snacks and frozen selection, and a small liquor section too. Produce is fine. But if you're making hot pot at home, they have the sliced meat, soup base, sauces, and a little frozen fish ball self-serve area. If you don't want to eat hot pot here, they serve other Asian hot dishes, and there's a bubble tea spot and bakery here, but I haven't tried anything else besides the hot pot. Sense a trend yet? It's not as big as Joong Boo, and it's bigger than the current H Mart for now but will be interesting to see how the new one compares. Overall it's a fine grocery store and we'll come back when that craving for mala spice strikes.

It has some pretty unique things for around Carpentersville, if you just go to other stores. Village Fresh Market sure is fresh, especially for the fruits and vegetables. Has lots of other groceries too like cereal, but the prices aren't as good on these items. The produce is where you'll get your money's worth, so stick there. Apparently it used to be another grocery store, because it's big. It's set up like a regular grocery store. There's aisles, and there's a big section on the side for fruits and vegetables. It's bright and clean. There's mostly Mexicans who are shopping in here, but they wouldn't be here if it wasn't any good. Also at the front there's a stand to get juices and fruits. It's $4 for a juice. The Greens Juice is the best of these. It's green of course. This is made with apples, celery, cucumbers, ginger, lemon, and spinach. It's $4 for a bowl of fruit. The Fruta Grande is a bowl filled with the fruit if your choice, and it's topped with chili salt, which gives it a spice. Good place to get something fresh. It's a store but be sure to get some juices and fruit bowls on your way in or out. There's also some other vendors.
