Great international grocery located in Schaumburg with most things from Europe. It has a pretty good selection to choose from. KD Market seems to be Polish. Makes sense because there's a large population around here. There's of course the paczki and other sweets. A way to save some money when eating out. It's good to go to a store. There's a large amount of produce and whatever. Prices are pretty good for the most part. The groceries in the coolers usually aren't as cheap though. Anyway, there's still plenty you can get. There's also Asian such as sushi and rolls. Could visit this more often if it was closer. It has lots of good finds. The prices aren't bad on lots of things.

Good market for produce, pastries, beverages and more! Clean environment all around. Helpful ladies behind the counters as well as through the aisles. Everything is very well organized. I had stopped a little before closing so I was expecting not much things left but it was the opposite, more was being stocked for the next day. Got a ton of fresh fresh produce!

The hot Polish Plate is delicious and packed full of my favorites. It's a quick grab and go.

FANTASTIC POLISH FOOD I wish this store was closer to downtown Chicago. They have some fantastic polish food options to go. You can get them prepackaged both hot and cold. There's also a hot bar where you can build your own pre-made food package. Our favorite to go package was the polish platter which featured smoked sausage, pierogis, potato pancakes, a stuffed cabbage roll, mashed potatoes and baked sauerkraut. Everything tasted amazing and it was so fresh. The meal was a deal too. This giant platter of food was only $9.52. (Prices are subject to change thanks to inflation) It was a ton of food. My family keeps asking me when I'm driving back out to Schaumburg to pick up more food from here again. Honestly it's worth the drive. That's a deal I can't pass up! The store has everything you could want. I love all of the Eastern European dishes that are available. I could eat here all day long. The hot chicken soup looks amazing too. They sell the soup in quart sized dishes that are ready to go! I wish I would have grabbed one. I might have just eaten the whole container it in my car. It's the perfect place to taste Polish Traditions. Not only can you find authentic European ingredients, fresh produce & meats but you can also get authentic Polish specialties, which are all made from scratch. They have a lot of unique products imported from Europe. I love that many of these products do not contain high fructose corn syrup. That is a bonus over American made packaged foods. They also have a nice selection of polish pastries and desserts. Yeah this place rocks and it's worth the drive. The parking lot is huge and they are ready to serve you some great food. Load up the cart with all of the unique treats. Here's some additional fun facts & a pro tip! Pro Tip: Pick up some Pączki. These fried donuts are filled with fun flavors. You can order these year round at KD Market and not just on Fat Tuesday in Chicago. It's a celebration here every day. Fun Facts: Did you know that KD Market has been voted the "Best Polish Food" two years in a row now! Congrats! After one bite, you'll see why people love them. What does the KD stand for? Krystyna's Deli! You're now set for trivia night, if those questions ever come up! It's called trivia for a reason!

Polish Supermarket. Paczki Day is a big deal in Chicagoland. This place bakes enough paczkis to feed all of Chicagoland! They are baked fresh daily and come in a variety of flavors. Enter the main doors and walk straight back to the Bakery. This is where the paczki and all the other bakes goods are found. Serve yourself from the many shelves stocked full of paczki: Nutella, custard, Rose hip, raspberry, currant. Easy to find parking in the large parking lot out front. Well labeled departments inside. Although, I've only been to their bakery.

    Poppy Seed Cake

I purchased a poppy seed cake at this store 11/23/23 and according to its label it was good until 11/24/23. Sadly when trying to serve it the same day I noticed large amount of mold at the bottom of the cake. Needless to say, I took it back to the store the following day and was informed that I cannot get a refund because I did not have a receipt. Apparently, having item marked clearly with KD market label is not enough of a proof. I was offered a replacement cake to which I declined as my trust in the quality of food sold there has been shaken. I spoke with two employees and it seems that neither was bothered by the fact that food had mold on it but were rather focused on the refund, for which I never asked to begin with. I tried to make it clear to both that it is not about 7$ the cake costs but rather a concern for the quality of food being sold to customers.

What I bought is expired wtf .

What I bought is expired nice , if I have to choose this store, I prefer not to eat ...

And yes, in case you didn't know, while it's called "International", all those nations are in Asia. We come here mainly for two things - either getting ingredients to make hot pot at home, or just eating hot pot here. They also have dry pot, which my wife and I really like as an option. You grab a basket and fill it with whatever veggies you want, then a separate one and fill it with proteins, then you pay by the weight. You can either get it hot pot style in a big bowl of hot broth, or dry pot where they cook it in the broth but serve your food already cooked. As far as the grocery selection, they have a big seafood selection and a decent butcher area. Also a lot of Asia snacks and frozen selection, and a small liquor section too. Produce is fine. But if you're making hot pot at home, they have the sliced meat, soup base, sauces, and a little frozen fish ball self-serve area. If you don't want to eat hot pot here, they serve other Asian hot dishes, and there's a bubble tea spot and bakery here, but I haven't tried anything else besides the hot pot. Sense a trend yet? It's not as big as Joong Boo, and it's bigger than the current H Mart for now but will be interesting to see how the new one compares. Overall it's a fine grocery store and we'll come back when that craving for mala spice strikes.

The reason I did is because I find that no matter what day or what time I come here luckily despite the very small constructed parking lot, I always find parking number two and another reason I really like this place is that I do my Amazon returns here and every time I show up here the line if there is one really moves quickly. Lastly, I really like this place because they're always stocked. It seems like to me at least and every time I come looking for something they always have exactly what I'm looking for regardless of whether it's fresh fish the specific scones I like from the bakery or trying to get some type of new organic gum mints. I will call out the reason that they are four-star is because they continually understaffed their checkout lanes, forcing us customer who already paying overpriced items to become temporary employees of Amazon and check ourselves out as well. I do not like self checkout, remove the self checkout.

However, they no longer offer vegan blueberry or vegan chocolate chip cupcakes. My husband loved their house made sourdough garlic bread, and I was sad to come home empty-handed. He was excited for it. While some are celebrating "Veganuary," I am making an attempt to go gluten-free in order to empathize with those with Celiac Disease. Very doubtful that I can do it. I did ask at the bakery about their vegan fresh pizza cheese, and the nice young man at the counter showed me what they use, and I took the photo posted below. There are MUCH better options for vegan cheese than what they offer. I would rather just go cheeseless on my pizza with lots of veggies. I have no reason to return unless I am in the area for an Amazon return.

They are inconsistent in their stock - often gaps appear where something is out of stock. They also don't make it easy to find items where there are special needs, such as finding gluten-free items. Like most people, I order online regularly. Amazon has become the Walmart of online shopping--you click and buy. I'm a Prime member and order weekly, so I feel it's important to point out that as a Prime customer, I almost never receive my orders within the promised 48 hours. Yet every time I place an order, that delivery window is what's advertised. As usual, the driver marked the package as delivered and uploaded a photo. The problem? The photo was of a random fence. Not my home. Not my porch. A fence. And that was accepted as "proof of delivery." I'm livid. This isn't just a careless driver--this reflects Amazon's broken delivery process and poor hiring standards. Who thinks snapping a picture of a random fence counts as evidence? It's pure incompetence. To make things worse, when you try to get help, you're forced into a scripted chat system routed overseas, where the agents clearly aren't trained to actually troubleshoot real issues. After explaining that my delivery never arrived, Amazon offered me $5 as compensation. Five dollars--for items that cost more in shipping and tax alone. I spend my hard-earned money faithfully with this billion-dollar company, yet there's no real accountability, no genuine apology, and no urgency to fix repeated delays that stretch into weeks. Instead, they add insult to injury with a $5 offer, as if that somehow makes things right. So I want people to understand exactly how companies like this see you and your money. They don't value loyalty. They don't care about inconvenience. And they certainly don't care about the customer once they've already been paid.
