Simple and fast for a first time smog test here. I am done in 15 minutes. They dont accept amex so make sure you have other credit card. They have a good deal in yelp if you check in or if you have a coupon, they would gladly honor that. I would definitely be back for another car.

Yen minced no words ... he pointed to the office for me to go in and complete the paperwork ... took my key ... and immediately drove my car onto the testing apparatus. All the while, single-handedly processing other cars in the drive-through bay (I wasn't his only customer at the time). The entire process wasn't more than 20 minutes. If you are directed to go to a STAR Certified Smog station ... you can't go wrong in selecting this business on 11th Street.

Went to 3 places on this street all wanted to charge at least $80 with 30 min wait,. Stopped in here and he will have it done in 10 mins and for 50$.. He's the real MVP read more

This place was great! I took my car in in the morning and I walked in without an appointment. The gentleman working was very kind and efficient, resulting in my only being there for 15 minutes at most. The price was great and I am truly thankful for this establishment. read more

Went here after reading the Yelp reviews, and I'm so glad I did! The gentleman guided me right in, and was super nice! The whole thing was done in 10 minutes! I had another smog check business input my odometer reading incorrectly and he even offered to help me fix that!! What a great experience!! I couldn't recommend them more highly!! I'll never go anywhere else for a smog check!!! read more

Getting a SMOG test done is kind of a necessary chore that we have to do periodically, so it's nice to have a local shop that is super quick and efficient at a good price with good service. Can't really beat it. Took 2 (1 requiring STAR) of my cars here yesterday, and will not hesitate to go back in the future. Easy 5 stars. read more

These guys are great. Never waited more than 15 minutes even with other customers there. Has some issues with one of my cars. They told me exactly what was wrong with it and where to go to get it fixed at an affordable price rather than get robbed by the dealership. Recommend to everyone! read more

Gave these guys 5 stars. Needed a smog check for my car after the DMV asked for it. Very convenient location. I drove in without an appointment. The owner was very straight forward and gave me a good price. I was in and out the door in less than 15 mins. I would totally recommend these guys again and will be back with my other cars. read more

Always goes above and beyond. I've been going here since I moved to Tracy 14 years ago. I take all my cars here to be smogged and will continue to do so Identifies other things in his inspection that are outside of the scope of the smog that could turn into issues later that should be addressed, a broken clamp to the turbo intake hose or an over heating sensor. Great sevice. . read more

Lied about my car passing smog I went to another shop with everything I have on my car and it passed with flying colors my carb sticker was meant for the intake I have and for the car I have the paper work on it and he tried to tell me it wasn't for my car. Terrible service I won't ever take any of my cars back to this place, also he didn't charge me the full price for my failed attempt that I should have passed and told me I would have to pay 20 more dollars on top of the 40 I already paid so that they pocket 10 more dollars than just charging me the full price and giving me the 30 day free retest! Awful business I would not suggest going there! If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I thought this place was great. I had a coupon so paid $40 total. I went mid-day and was done in 15 minutes. The guys who work there are friendly and helpful, and they both drive the same type of car I do so it was fun to talk about our rides. Also I thought I wasn't going to pass my smog test based on what a mechanic told me previously so it made my day to know I passed...anyway if I'm still in Tracy in 2 years I will definitely be back. Awesome service! In and out within 10 minutes. Even better, smog certificate was electronically transmitted to the DMV. There were comfortable seatings and a television while I waited. Fully staffed place. Not 1 but 3 employees. All seemed really friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!! read more

This place is the best! The employees are very friendly. I brought both of my vehicles together with my wife and kids. They were able to test both vehicles simultaneously while we sat in the waiting room. They even turned on cartoons for the kids to watch, but we weren't waiting long; completely done in about 15 minutes. I will always go here whenever I need a smog test...star-certified, friendly, professional service...thank you! read more

a couple weeks back i went in for a smong with my 2001 corolla. normally the car passes with flying colors but before going there i decided to wash the engine and left some wires off and started the car. check engine light came on so being the smart guy that i am i disconnect the battery and walah light went off. went.to smog the car and it failed. the guy looked at me and said what did you do? i was shocked... how did he know i did something. i told him about the battery and he said to drive it around until the system reset itself and he would retest the car. after a few times going back he asked me another question. How fast are you driving? what does that have to do with it i asked? he said if you drive over 65 the sensor will not reset. i followed his advice to the T and sure enough i passed. i have worked with lots of mechanics and have never found a place that was this honest and helpful. secretly i cried knowing that this guy was looking out for me and not the dollar. i cant tell you how much i bugged them with my issues. he could have told me you need to change the sensor or something that would cost me an arm and a leg. he didn't know that i was unemployed or dealing with an illness. he took care of me like family and i am grateful that there are people like this still around. very smart guys here who know their work. thank you for helping me. read more

Brought my car here…read more My car failed smog...guy said bring it back after making "certain" repairs. Saying it would not pass "unless the car was driven a certain amount of miles". Didn't give an explanation of WHY the car had to be driven. So no, I shouldn't bring it back without a mechanics approval because it would fail. Took it somewhere else. The mechanic explained it wouldn't pass unless another mechanic looked at it prior to clear it and the mileage cleared because the computer had to reset. It needed a new temperature gauge. That could have been included in the conversation. Tried to make an extra quick couple bucks. Never will be back. And everyone I know in Tracy has been informed. Sad part is, I came here before and had no issues. Not sure who is running it now. Good luck.
