Very crappy selection and they used to have alot of cute Nike clothes. Then I gave up on that and went to look for some jeans or maybe some other clothes. It basically all sucks now in there. Very little selection and what there is, is just crap. There is a better selection at Meijer, which is where I ended up. I wondered why the parking lot was so empty at 4pm and now I know. My family ussd to be obsessed with Kohls and after talking to them when I left, they said they haven't been there in years because it's just crap in there and they don't have anything anymore. They may as well close. Sad to see that today but I doubt I'll be back.

The clothes were neatly organized although the men's section was helter-skelter with some of it placed here and some of it in another section of the store, etc. There was plenty of stock to choose from and the prices were right. What I was most impressed with was how well organized the check out was. The line was all the way to the back of the store in linen...unreal and yet that line moved at a rather good pace. They kept asking for more cashiers to come to the front and eventually all the available areas for cashiers were running at full speed; thank you for that Marshalls! We had the best time, the employees were very helpful, Tara, Cici, Rasha, Shirleen, and Anne in men's clothing. We can't wait to return to Penney's we live in Algonac and pass a Penney's in Chesterfield, because of the better selection of products & friendly staff.

I also purchased Serta Soft Cool and Warm material Bed sheets throughout my browsing and price checking with comparison. Yes, this location maybe disorganized at times or messy areas of towels or other sale items but shoppers can be the reason because every time I shop here for a sale item or check on an ad item, the staff here are working the best they can and hard at times unpacking boxes to stocking shelves. There is nothing better than having a store with really awesome really unique really original Detroit products that are very specific to this region and actually very well made and well thought out with a lot of imagination put into them. I love bookstores and go to them all of the time, but I cannot resist a bargain on the books we are looking for and my child was waiting for the release of a new Five Nights at Freddy's book. It was easy to get in and out of here and go through the self check. I am sure I would stop by if I were in the area again.
