STOP TWO: Pet Supermarket 1541 Highway 20 W Ste 120 McDonough, GA 30253 Same emergency. Same smell. Totally different experience. This location was calm, professional, and actually cared. Alexa deserves special recognition -- she was kind, patient, and genuinely tried to help us even in full Code Brown Emergency conditions. No judgment, no attitude, just great customer service. That's why this location gets 5 stars. Employees like Alexa are the reason people stay loyal to a store. Highly recommend this location -- and especially Alexa -- preferably on a day when Skylar is not a walking crime scene

The assistant store supervisor attempted to gaslight me, saying that a bichon haircut will require the dog ears to be pointed, and because my dog ears aren't pointed this is why the cut appears the way it looks in the picture to the left. My dog has been getting the same haircut for his whole eight years of life and so that was the poorest excuse I've ever heard. My complaint is poor customer service, lack of accountability, and a lack of skill set in grooming service. Pictures are both him, what I asked for versus what I got. My dog goes to the Groomer every six weeks and so he practically already had the cut, but just needed a trim she cut entirely way too much off around his head.

A couple of others had them, around their necks. Others, nothing. The young lady who helped me was masked. When I checked out I mentioned my disappointment with the lack of masks to the unmasked cashier. This lady explained she has a medical condition and a doctor's note. I have medical conditions as well. I check a number of high risk boxes. My only option is avoidance, so I will not be going into this store again. I might suggest that if an employee cannot protect customers by wearing a mask in a retail store, they should not have customer contact until there are medical solutions. Disappointed that Petsupermarket is not putting customers first. BTW, they have curbside pickup available, I've used it before. That's probably a safer option with this store. In retrospect, to be safe, I should have left, called in my order and asked for curbside. Still disappointed though. Actually, I don't go out often, and so far, this is the first business that is so not interested in the safety of their customers.
