I've been buying hay and feed here for years and never had a problem, Dec 22nd 20221 bought a round bale close to closing time,the weather was really cold and I wanted to make sure my horses had hay before I went out of town for Christmas. I went to barn to unload the hay in there cause the horses were in barn voluntarily due to the extreme low temperatures.After unloading I started to pull hay off for few horses that are less dominant and immediately I was getting stuck by stickers, it was so cold my hands were burning,I felt bad leaving this hay for them and didn't think it was that bad,when I return from my parents I went to pull more hay off and every handful I was getting stuck,this was Monday night. I thought that I should let the store know so I was told to take a video and send to manager, the file was too large and wouldn't send so I took screenshots of video, after I showed a girl the pictures she said to bring a sample of the hay,so I took a bag of the hay to store, they replaced the hay no charge, manager said their supplier guarantee no stickers and they could lose their contract, he was outside when my replacement bale was being loaded and told me to let him know how that one is. This was Jan 1st when I got the replacement and I noticed the horses weren't eating much of it so I gave them some square bales I had plus few days later I bought square bales from tractor supply, the quality wasn't good, they were yellow and had shiny blades like rye grass, didn't even smell like coastal bramuda,the horses did eat that hay but the round bale was barely touched. I went last night to complain lady went to tell

I went last night to complain, lady went to tell manager and comes back to tell me the manager talked to their supplier and they said they have never had stickers and I need to go somewhere else, I said what are y'all saying that I deliberately put stickers in the hay,she said no ma'am but if your horses don't like it then go somewhere else, I was in shock that I was being treated like that, she kept bringing up fact that no one else has complained and she never got stickers in her hay, so I felt they were saying I was trying scam them,I had proof and receipt. I had a emotional breakdown over this and called corporate today. They say you have a 30 day return policy but didn't offer it this time and I'm not so hard up on money but this is about respect now and defamation of my character, I don't care about the money at this point I just want an apology.. I have never in my life been treated this way over something iv bought. I felt I had a right to say something, I mean if it was just few stickers that would of been fine but this was all the way through..I also made a video showing proof last night that they are not eating the replacement and to show the poor quality,its been wet, has dust and doesn't smell sweet.. read more
