I asked if it would be possible to get some close-up photos of the wiring harness. She immediately said, "Of course," took my email address, and within about 15 minutes I had several clear, detailed photos in my inbox. This may sound like a simple thing, but this level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. Anna was helpful, responsive, and went out of her way to get me exactly the information I needed. I purchased a large hydraulic cylinder and nowhere in the description did it indicate the rod was HOLLOW. When it failed, Surplus Center said they couldn't find the item despite my providing the order number and basically said it wasn't their problem. I asked for some discount on just shipping when buying another more suitable cylinder and they declined any help at all. Be very wary and circumspect when dealing with Surplus Center, flood them with every possible question before buying as their descriptions can leave out vital information, whether by design or just as an oversight.
